Alexander J Davidson: Wife and I had a fantastic dinner last night. Ashlee, our server went above and beyond to ensure we had memorable experience. The food and adult beverages were all exceptional. The beef tartare, clam chowder and mixed green salad really stood out. The Montreal location in Place des Arts was easy to get in and out of. Ask for Ashee to be your server if you are dining there.

Yi-Chieh Chen: . We went with 6-course.😋 The meal kicked off with an amazing amuse-bouche.The chawanmushi that follows was less exciting, because the kombu sauce tasted a tad sweet for my liking. The shiitake was tasty though.The venison carpaccio was eye-opening 🤩 didn’t know that venison could be so tender and scrumptious. The brioche was buttery soft. The dish melted in my mouth in a most satisfying manner.The black cod was good, but the star of this dish was the cream sauce. I devoured the sauce with the sourdough bread 😋I’m not a fan of quail in general, so the dish did not stand out to me. I do remember the foie gras being delicious.We had a special risotto dish because we were still hungry 🐷 and it was the absolute highlight of our dinner. Perfectly al dente and the ultimate comfort food.The desserts wrapped up the meal beautifully. Particularly loved the marinated strawberry and soft chocolate sponge cake.Overall the food was enjoyable. Every dish feels very thoughtfully crafted in terms of the flavor complexity. While portions erred on the small side for us, this is fairly standard for fine dining.✨ So deeply grateful for the exceptional service. Definitely one of the best restaurant service I have experienced. The servers were genuinely kind and friendly in their interactions, and really went above and beyond to make sure that we are enjoying the food AND full at the end 🙏 merci beaucoup!Appreciate the attention to my husband’s gluten allergy and making substitutions 🙏🍷 Diverse wine selection. Robert Oliver: Fantastic dinner, probably the best we had on our trip. Had the seafood special appetizer with the aoli sauce which was incredible. Beef tartar was great too! Split the New York strip with the bone marrow. Cooked to perfection and so rich with the marrow also liked the side horse radish cabbage. Someone else got the lobster pasta which was outstanding! Enjoyed the lemon sorbet thoroughly!

Will definitely go back to try what our table neighbors had, lobster spaghetti, which was a whole lobster on pasta! We spent 250$ for a shared meal with no appetizers, so expect to spend a little. PATRICK GRENIER: If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the place. They prepare the salad and the crepes in front of you. The food is phenomenal and the wine cellar very impressive. Katherine Parker: Danny and Matthew were exceptional - they exceeded every expectation we had in regards to service. Rib N Reef doesn’t offer a fresh squeezed margarita, I asked Matthew for one and he made it happen. It was delicious and he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Danny had a great intuition for service making you feel like you were the only ones in the restaurant. I would highly recommend asking for them during your next visit. Service like this is VERY HARD to come by so when you do experience this type of service it is memorable
Lex DT: Very laidback steak house, good service, good consistent food. I’ve been going there for 15 years. The drinks are also really good drink and they have a good wine list.Why not fully 5 stars ? The valet parking… the restaurant is literally in a parking lot, just drop it or make them less agressive. I don’t like people parking my cars and it’s less convenient for me when I come with my kids. Every time it’s a story of telling them I don’t want valet … I’m already in the parking I can get between 2 lines.
