When I came here for a short break in 2016, I had the impression that the educational curriculum and methods were reliable and decided to come here again. And my intuition was right. Dustin Scott: We planned for my spouse to attend the EC Language School in Montreal. Unfortunately, we could not, after multiple attempts, get Canada to approve the student visa. The school promised to refund the tuition and most of the fees if this happened and we received the refund as promised. Wanderley Meira: My experience with EC Montreal was very special and in different ways. I am a teacher who is really passionate about studying languages, so for me the approach taken by the school would be very important and this was definitive for my positive analysis. In addition to having great facilities, what defines the school are the professionals who work there. The teachers are very well prepared and, in addition to grammatical studies, they approach a living language with a focus on interaction and the objective of preparing students for an independent life in the world of this second language. As highlighted on the first day of class by the Director of Studies, "it's not just about gathering knowledge, but about how you put that knowledge into activity in the use of language". Another very important aspect, especially for people who are on their first foray into immersion in another country, is the school's reception. At the same time that you are challenged to 'get by' on your own, the entire team is always available to help and guide you, in a very welcoming and attentive way, which makes a big difference if you are Brazilian. The school always proposes collective activities, providing moments where students meet and interact. Time at EC Montreal is an opportunity to make friends from around the world, and it's clear that this is one of the school's goals.

I had a great experience at CLC - smart teachers that gave encouraging attention to each student, very small class sizes, a friendly, energized, and professional environment, and virtually no stress… The structure felt very well thought out - the schedule of classes was ideal for staying alert and attentive… It's nothing like the language classes I took in high school…
The classes are oriented towards speaking, everyday situations, for you to feel confident in your everyday activities… groups are small and that is perfect for rapid advancement…
CLC makes learning French fun and I never thought I would have the confidence to speak and connect with people using a completely different language…
Terrific school and staff. I took a one week intensive french class and really got a lot out of it. The classes are structured in a way that gives a lot of time to speaking as well as learning grammar and vocabulary… There is a nice continuity between classes so what you learn in one class, you practice in the next… I got some very good tips for how to continue my French practice outside of the class and some good tips for how to accelerate my learning path… very supportive and clear in their communication and teaching…
In the past I've had difficulty getting on with more traditional language learning, so CLC was perfect for me as the style of teaching is very laid back, modern and informal… The teachers were all so enthusiastic and encouraging, and the atmosphere in the school is ridiculously welcoming and relaxed…
I was used to the more traditional teaching methods common in Europe and was delighted by the conversation and interaction based curriculum at CLC… It was a confidence boosting and liberating experience...
The 45min format of classes was great for keeping my attention and the change of teachers for each class means you don’t get used to one accent…
I love that the classes are structured (one unit of composition, one unit of grammar, one unit of conversation) but not TOO structured… This makes the learning process a lot more fun, which is important for someone like me who doesn't thrive in a tedious classroom environment that's 100% grammar focused.

I was really impressed by 1) the overall teaching philosophy and 2) the infinite patience of their teachers. If you only learned a foreign language the old fashioned, classroom-based way and as a result hated the experience, CLC's methods and atmosphere will come as a (good) shock to you. At first, I felt thrown into the deep end because my French is still at the very beginning level. However, CLC's teachers are supportive, patient and kind, and the language learning approach is very communicative.
The school is run very professionally and all interactions with them were smooth and easy. The teachers are committed and knowledgeable - not just about the languages they teach, but about how to teach and learn languages. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Laura Gonzalez Zuluaga: I'm a graphic designer who decided to become a developer a while ago. I already had experience in the field and I knew a bit of coding thanks to some online courses, but I felt that I was lacking a lot of structure and knowledge to get better at my job. Then I found Le Wagon and I attended a lot of their free workshops and events, just to see if they were what I was looking for, and I immediately loved the content and energy they all had. This was one of the best experiences of my life: I had the opportunity to meet great people, got to learn a lot from the TAs and other students, and I really felt that the effort and time I put on this was absolutely rewarding. I also had a great time working on our final project and felt super proud of creating a full and functional app from scratch. Thanks to Le Wagon's bootcamp I finally feel confident to work with my peers and do tasks that I never thought I would.As a side note, you don't need to have any previous experience! A lot of my classmates were working in completely different areas and we all managed pretty well. I took the part-time bootcamp since I have a full-time job, and I feel that it was perfect for me because I had the time to digest the content and put more work on the final weeks. Arstan Zholochu: After I decided to shift my career into the tech industry, I needed someplace to start where I could learn tech skills. After extensive research of university and bootcamp programs, I decided to go with Le Wagon Montreal Coding Bootcamp. What was attractive to me is that the bootcamp was planned to be on-site, face-to-face with teachers. Since I did not have any coding background, being physically present inside the classroom and having everyday interactions with teachers, and classmates were very important to me. Even though everyday coding challenges were tough, and reading and lectures were hard to grasp, I was able to learn the fundamentals of computer programming. Moreover, by the end of the bootcamp I started feeling comfortable in addressing coding challenges, finding answers to technical questions, and thinking like a programmer. There are still lots of things to learn, but thanks to Le Wagon I now have all the basic knowledge to continue my journey in the tech industry.

Benoit Leboucher: As soon as I decided to make the change, I looked for a way to make it a reality. After some research, I chose to join a bootcamp instead of doing a traditional degree. Le wagon had very good reviews and a friend of friend of mine hired someone who graduated from le wagon and was very happy with his work.I decided to join and it was an amazing experience. It was very challenging, both personally and technically but also very rewarding. I learned a lot of technical skills and programming languages, and I am still doing challenges almost 9 month after I did the bootcamp with the resources Le Wagon gave me. Finally, I learnt how to work in a team and to be efficient together.During the last 2 weeks, the “projects weeks”, we were ready to start working like real devs, from an original idea, to develop it, code it and present it. I presented it to the community and learned how to speak in public, which was not my strong suit. I’ve learnt so much from my experience at Le Wagon and am happy to continue giving back to the community.

Nicholas Szczerbickyj: I joined the Data Science bootcamp to improve my knowledge in Python and learn about Machine Learning for the first time. The practical approach to learning helped me understand complex topics quickly and also apply those in the real world. Whether it was natural language processing or creating an algorithm to categorize values, after each topic, I had a firm grasp of the concepts and was able to use them with confidence. This has helped me significantly in my role as a product manager since I can both design and build data science solutions for different challenges. I would 100% recommend this bootcamp to others!
Mark: Before Le Wagon, during my time as a business student, I was curious to learn how businesses use technology to their advantage. It soon grew on me that the use of technology is a vital part of a successful business. I had decided to learn to code on my own but I soon realized I needed something more structured. That’s when I found Le Wagon, a place to learn all of the coding basics, how to solve challenges alongside others and more importantly how to think like a developer.At Le Wagon, the program is extremely well-structured to maximize learning. This is done by watching lectures before class and doing challenges which reinforce what was taught in those lectures during class. If ever we got stuck trying to solve a problem there was always a teacher to help.My primary goal at Le Wagon was to learn the fundamentals of coding as a web developer. In the end I’m glad to say my goal was achieved and furthermore I have met new friends who motivate me to excel in this career path. Ultimately, I recommend Le Wagon for anyone looking to get familiar with coding.
Kim Coquilla: I was a Shipping Coordinator for a big toy company for almost 12 years until they moved their manufacturing to Mexico. Because of this, I realized I had to change my career and saw the opportunity to start with Le Wagon Coding Bootcamp. At first, I was really nervous about if I could really do it, but after a couple of days it becomes exciting and challenging. You just have to really trust the process of their program. Teachers and staff are really nice, friendly and approachable. They also have a very well organized strategy for your learning, precise schedule, very useful resources that you will have access to even after you graduate. Denzel Braithwaite: I'm Denzel Braithwaite and I was part of the Montreal part time batch #790. When I graduated high school, I spent 6 years as a janitor. I started to wonder if this is what I'd be doing for the rest of my life. I decided to take a computing support course which helped me land a job in I.T. but I felt as if it was only a nudge in the right direction, but I could still go even further. I knew I still wanted to work with computers, this is my passion, but I wanted a career that was in demand, flexible and rewarding with the possibility of working remotely. I had already heard about Le Wagon from a few friends and decided to take a chance. As an alumni, I can definitely say that this course was worth every minute and every penny. It's about so much more than simply learning how to code, it's about learning how to change your life and adapt to a constantly evolving industry. It's about collaborating on meaningful and impactful projects and building lifelong connections in a very active community. I learnt how to learn and how to ask for help when I needed it. Le Wagon teaches the skills and discipline required for success, while keeping an important focus on relaxing and getting to know your fellow colleagues. yifei qin: The class is relatively relaxed and enjoyable. The teachers are very good. They can correctly and timely identify each student's problems and correct pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. I am very satisfied with the teacher's feedback in the class.
Mathilda Chevron: , we are in a small group which means that we participate a lot and we do not have the time to be distracted by something else. There are a lot of grammar and conjugation exercises, and we often work in pairs to be able to exchange and speak orally. The program is great, I will probably do another session.I haven't found it cheaper anywhere else, for me it's excellent value for money.

Marie Pier Robitaille: I had a great experience with the online English classes. The teacher Linda was truly kind with all the students. She was always smiling and ready to help us. The classes allow a perfectly balance progression. Even though, I would have liked to spend more time speaking English with others.
ruth mejia: An excellent school with outstanding materials, books, and methodology. The teachers were incredibly patient, always attentive to my questions. I began in the "débutant" level in French, and by the halfway point of the course, I was already capable of managing conversations in french in Montreal. The location is very convenient to reach as the metro station is right in front.

Hyongdon Youn: The professional staff was very friendly, and the course layout and management were good, but the fairway was narrow and it was a difficult golf course that required a sharp tee shot.
Guy Charbonneau: Beautiful golf course. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in excellent condition. The check-out and checkout attendant are pleasant and add to the experience. The route is relatively flat and walks quite well. For $80 taxes included, it was worth the trip.

S.E. McKenzie: Beautiful campus. Great dentistry school. The atmosphere at the moment is not great due to protest and muddy field.
Paul Miiller: Great spectacle! They had two massive teams on either side of the gates waving flags and cheering, never saw anything like it before. Not sure what sport it was for but really gives the impression of a very active school community. A lot to see and I even got a hot dog!
