She was not a person who accepted help easily as she was a caregiver her whole life she had difficulty receiving help.That said, the people at TheKey / Home Care where amazing, matching my aunt with caregivers that were such amazing people that my aunt accepted the help right away. Because of this we were able to keep her in her apartment all the way until her passing, which was her wish. They took excellent care of her and my aunt and us felt like they were part of the family.The administration at theKey / Home Care were alway super amazing and easy to work with. I dealt mostly with them and they alway came thru so that my aunt never was missing of anything. When she was admitted into the hospital and we needed to have 24/7 care because of her dementia, they were able within 30 minutes to arrange it. Wow, we were blown away how with no notice they were able to turn around and have a care giver with her 24 hours a day. It allowed us to work and prepare her apartment for her new needs as she needed constant care and the people at The Key / Home Care where simply amazing. It made it so much easier for us.I highly recommend them, not only is there service great, but the people there are some of the most competent and nicest people to deal with. I would like to single out 1 or 2 people, but that would not be fair as they all work as a team and made sure my aunt had the best service possible.Thank you,

Tara Neal: I would not hesitate to leave a loved one under Petra's care. She is kind, caring and compassionate.
J Kalil: I reached out to Helpers Care to get help for my father who was in hospital for several months. I live 200km away and could not see him everyday. The hospitals do not have the staff to pay proper attention to patients who are there for a length of time. Petra helped me find someone who would visit with him, interact with him, converse with him and help him. My father thought the care worker was great company and I noticed an improvement in his overall well being and cognitive state during the times that we had scheduled her. Petra was also very helpful in finding the right person and giving me tips on how to navigate the hospital and CLSC which can be challenging at times. She followed up regularly and listened to what the situation was and what our needs were. I would use the services of Helpers Care again if needed without hesitation.
Kathy Lee: I found the manager that I spoke with extremely helpful and supportive when I was looking for care for my dad. The timing for what we needed didn’t work but Petra did her best to accommodate and checked in often to see how we were doing.

Vivian Rigg: I'm very happy with the service at Customized Homecare. I needed someone to visit my father to provide companionship. He lives in a public nursing home but doesn't have friends or family nearby so he is very lonely. Maggie has been great in communicating with me and finding the right person to come visit my dad. The caregivers have been very attentive and responsible and my dad really enjoys their visits.
Tracey St-Laurent: I contacted Customized Homecare because my 85 year old Father had fallen off his bicycle and suffered a concussion, he was in hospital for two weeks and for my peace of mind I wanted someone with him through the nights , the Gentleman in the room with him had a few different caregivers with him over the first few days, I noticed how respectful and caring they all were towards him so I asked the young lady who she worked for, she gave me Andrews contact info. In the end I dealt with Maggie, I will be forever grateful to her for her compassion and rapid service. We spoke at 2:00 in the afternoon, that same night I had been sent a wonderful caregiver named Mary Ann to sit with my Father from 11p.m -7 a.m and by 7:30 a.m I had been given an update on how each night played out.
