S Tahboub: The shawermah is alright, which is hard to come by in Montreal, most shawermah places here are terrible. Sadly, the service here isn't better than any of the other nooks.Overall, definitely the best choice for shawermah downtown, but the food prep, the service, and the cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. Its like a controlled chaos in there, where everything is a mess all the time, but somehow orders get fulfilled.

Ken Honeck: Great food, service, and atmosphere. It had a classy, casual vibe without trying too hard to be hip. Our waiter, Eric, was the perfect balance of friendly, helpful, and attentive while giving us privacy. Even the music was at a level where it was easily heard yet never interfered with our ability to talk in normal, conversational voices.

Jen Gurniak: This was me and my friends' first stop for our Montreal trip. Our hotel wasn't ready so we left the bags and explored for a bit. My friend said he knew exactly what we were going to do and looked up a place to get poutine. We both shared the montreal smoked meat poutine. Delicious! The waitress asked me many times if our missing companion was going to be long. Matt Dowd: I'm used to Toronto Indian food, particularly South Indian, and this spot is on par with the absolute best I've had in Toronto, at some big name places. The Masala Dosa is excellent, with the dosa crispy and the chutneys really pop. The Medhu Vada were beautifully crunchy on the outside, and pillowy soft on the inside, and the Idli Sambar were excellent. The Sambar in particular was very well spiced, not hot, but not dull, and chock full of veggies in every bite. Overall, a great experience, and one that I've missed since I've moved to MTL!
