Harry Pat: Best owner and amazing ice cream!! Definitely a must in Montreal for ice cream with a Tamil twist!!!

M4: Amazing falooda and ice cream. In my opinion the price is actually too low for the amount of quality and quantity. The owner is a wonderful person

Thajeevan Uthayakumaran: Best srilankan style ice cream in Montreal

J S: Best service and cheap ice cream! It’s a family favourite

shaheena shaik: This place is amazing for ice cream lovers!I am impressed with the person’s attitude who is selling over there! He is very kind and humble..Such a lovely place!MUST VISIT!!!!Worth the wait🙂🙂🙂🙂

Emilie L.Cayer: Wonderful ice cream shop. They serve the Coaticook one which is, IMO, one of the best! The Royal Falooda - first time trying - was delicious. The owner, very professional with customers. We waited a little but everything was worth the wait.

Caroline Murphy: I like too much !!! 🤤💕😍My kind of ice cream 🍦

oya karadag: i could rate 10/5 if i could

Francy G.T.: Delicious ice creams and lactose free!!!

yasmeen ben: Hmmm so good

Coco Wang: Always great icecream. The staff is super nice and helpful when you have a hard time choosing flavour!

Ken Manibo: We got one matcha crème brûlée and one strawberry litchi ice cream and they were straight up some of the best flavours I've ever had! They even have some funky clothing merch if you into that🕺

Bikram Lehar: are better options in my opinion and are close to this location. They need to level up their Ice cream game. Also service was also not as friendly as it could have been . Although it was not rude but not welcoming either.

Tweet Isabelle: The flavors are always impeccable here at Ca LemI adoreBoth soft and hard ice cream.

BogaLim le bg dla street: Very good ice cream, not a lot of choice but the quality is there and the môle ice machine was broken. Be careful, the ice melts very quickly so bring plenty of towels. Inexpensive given its location, I recommend.

Sarah Hay-Sutton: The staff member who served us was so nice & friendly! You won't believe the quality and how amazing the flavors are!

R Miller: Very sweet staff. They give you tasters on wooden spoons and put one flavour on either side to minimize waste. The baby scoop & cone option is a perfect snack for walking home or just having something fun to finish off your summer night. I got the vegan pandan coco, so yumm

CA LEM Crèmerie Creamery (Old Port): what do users think?

VirtualSki Ride: Hello calem,Your vanilla ice cream is very good but it tastes white chocolate. Hmm... It's still good, so 4*, but I'm surprised.A+

Flowerpower: Yummy but expensive

Megan Hoy: Great service, great ice cream, great vibes inside.I loved the pandan coconut ice cream. The flavour was strong with each bite and the texture was nice and smooth. We also ordered the special soft serve of the week which was creme brulee and pumpkin spice with two brownies. The pumpkin spice was delicious but creme brulee tasted more like plain vanilla. There are many other flavours I want to try so I will definitely go back.

Lennox Head: Tasty ice.

Henry He: Small and modern ice cream shop in the old port. The variety of ice cream is perfect, they don't have too many flavours but enough to satisfy most tastes. They also have seasonal options only to keep the formula fresh. Furthermore, the choices are all either lactose free or completely vegan so it's inclusive. The prices are also pretty standard for a scoop of ice cream. Overall, a nice little place for a quick but quality ice cream.

Elizabeth B.: Disappointed that our favourite go to location was closed, during their open hours. Made the trip all the way for ice cream. Just for it to be closed. 😔 We came back an hour and a half later, hoping maybe someone was just late with no luck. Please add a phone number or update your times. Us lactose and vegans have no decent options, and we love you. 😩

Maryska Bourassa: Always very good

B R: Their soft serve flavor of the week was strawberry sorbet & honeydew melon. It was refreshing & not overly sweet which was lovely. Would be even better if they had multiple softserve flavours available at same time instead of on rotation.

Raphaël Sylvestre Bouchard: I scroll through the photos with my finger looking for inspiration for this review. Being the third place of four places to eat visited in the same day, my feelings were probably watered down. However, even looking at my photos, I cannot say that my emotions would have been more vivid at another time. The location, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Old Montreal, is a considerable asset. It allowed us to avoid the long queues that popular places often experience on hot days. In addition, its ice cream offering plausibly surpasses those for which you would have to wait longer. The red brick façade leaves nothing to show what lies inside, adding a touch of intrigue. This week's soft cream with blue vanilla and Oreo seemed very tempting. Furthermore, the cashier informed me that soft serve creams were their specialty. I am very tempted! I was about to order it, but I changed my mind when I found out that my friend had done it before me. One thing I hate is losing the opportunity to experiment with more flavors. Therefore, I set my sights on the strawberry-lychee sorbet and I was happy with it, because its taste, by general opinion, was superior to that of the soft cream. Finally, a few words about the decor: it claims to be jovial, cheerful and engaging, but I found it rather poorly defined in terms of style. He searches for himself like a young person in adolescent crisis. A bit of neon here, a bit of large wooden beams there and why not a wall covered in self-adhesive paper? Was there music? His presence escapes me. I hypothesize that, if the ice cream seller had been more cheerful, the atmosphere of the entire place would have been made more cheerful by her smile.

Alexandra “Alex” K: Taro was great but Nutella did not taste like Nutella at all

Jorge Fuentes: Delicious and kind people.

Genevieve Robert: I really love this CA LEM creamery ♥️ It offers a different soft cream flavor every week and really stands out for its originality and light taste. I highly recommend 💯!! Congratulations 👏🏼💗 🏼

Cindy: This shop is so eye-catching with its colorful display in the mall. Even if you're not buying ice cream, just seeing these artisan desserts is an enjoyable experience. As a chocolate lover, I typically go for dark chocolate, but I decided to try something different. It was a delightful change! I'm looking forward to coming back to try their chocolate offerings as well.

Monisha Sircar: Really delicious ice cream. Authentic flavors. Friendly and helpful staff, and they always have good recommendations.

Sabrina M.: They have a lot of ice creams, each employee's favorite says the strawberry is delicious, I will return there.

Vicki Amin: Great selection of ice creams and soft serves

Sunny Philips: We had lemon, maple walnut, Nutella, and Raspberry flavours. All very tasty. There was a constant flow of customers the whole time we sat around to finish our ice cream. The lone staff was kept quite busy, but always smiling, very friendly and fast! The petit is definitely big enough for a nice after-dinner treat. Highly recommended.

Andrew Heymann: Dropped in for a quick cone after dinner, and it was lovely. Not overly fancy - just good, simple ice cream

Crèmerie Meu Meu: what do users think?

David Ainsworth: Fun flavours! Whether it is ice cream, or sorbet or soya based icy treats, Meu Meu always has great creative ideas. My kids also like their "brise-glace" with smarties and coffee crisp. Soft dip cones have a choice of different kinds of chocolate. Come and also look at all the photos on the walls of kids and families who have enjoyed ice cream over the years!

Lori Macle: Best ice cream, our favorite!Madagascar vanilla, Oreo, maple our favorites!

M E: Very busy, the ice-cream was very good but the flours are abit mild and abit too sweet. Service was fast.Food: 4/5 …

Avalon Nielsen: . Even though the line was long, the guy working the counter was providing quick and efficient service, so our wait did not last too long. My friend and I tried the chocolate, cardamom, and maple between the two of us. All of the flavors were delicious! We also really appreciated the workers proficiency in both French and English. I’d highly recommend this place, regardless of the wait.Vegetarian options: There were many vegan flavors.

Miss Moubarac: This creamery offers unforgettable frozen desserts. Their flavors are each more delicious than the last and are created with exceptional know-how. Whether you are looking for traditional ice cream or a vegan option, this creamery offers a wide choice of delicious flavors. Don't miss the opportunity to discover this Montreal institution!

Jean-Sébastien Aubin: Excellent homemade ice cream with new items every week and incredible new flavors.

Schnider Oltin: Very good Ice Cream and Sorbet and extremely kind employees willing to help and accommodate.

Dessert Cafe MOMO: what do users think?

Ariane Fortin: I'm going to this cafe for more than a year now. The macaroon are always super good and the staff is lovely. I've been to korea in January and it's the only place in mtl where it's feel exactly like a random coffee shop in seoul. I love this place so much, when I miss seoul I'm always here. Even the music is the same one that u can listen in hongdae street😭 the bingsoo are also super good I've never had a better one even in Korea! great job

Maria Fr: The place is small and homey and the ambiance was so nice as the decorations and music are aesthetic! The macarons were to die for I personally had ordered 2 at first the strawberry and the crème brûlée that pushed me to order another 4 to go !

Unicone: what do users think?

Thomas Leenders: Did you know that Unicone offers catering? We had the idea to have them cater our wedding… turned out to be the best idea ever! Unicone were an absolute pleasure to work with: they were consummately courteous, polite, thoughtful and accommodating. We selected fine deeply symbolic and delicious flavours of ice cream and non dairy sorbet. The presentation was top notch and the treat was the highlight of the wedding! It also worked out to be less expensive than the venue’s suggested desserts and, at the end of the day, what better compliment to wedding cake? The guests were positively delighted by the ice cream experience and we are SO happy we went with Unicone who imparted to us and our guests a truly special and unforgettable experience of culinary adventure, stylish elegance, delightful deliciousness and sheer fun! Strongly recommend Unicone to cater any event you want fondly remembered. And best of all: we got to keep the leftovers with which we happily stocked our freezer! Not that there were much leftovers, mind you. Our guests keep gushing how much they enjoyed their wedding cake à la mode… de Unicone!

Therese Dandan: I sampled multiple flavors but I ended with the Ube and Mango Sticky rice flavors! The ube flavor was spot on and maybe the best I've had comparing it to 4 popular ice cream spots in Los Angeles.I loved the texture of the mango sticky rice, it was custard-like, solidified whipped cream consistency, I could not stop eating it. I asked the lady at the counter why the consistency is such and she explained it is made of coconut cream. Sadly, I am only on vacation but if I lived in Montreal, I will visit this ice cream spot all the time. My brother enjoyed the soft serve!
