Janet Ramsay: I am writing this on behalf of a friend, DD, an 80 yr old gentleman who received care at the hospital on March 14th 2024. He had fallen and incurred a head injury requiring a CT scan, referred by the Royal Victoria hospital. He was asked which MD would follow up and said he did not know. He was told “someone would contact him”. Concerned about this, he went to the Emergency dept and took number 34 and was soon seen by the nurse at the desk. He explained his situation to her and she said “this is not right, I’m going to find the answer for you”. She took his B/P, temp, O2sats and then gave him a referral sheet with an appt for a specialist. He was beyond grateful for this nurse who went over and above to help him with kindness and compassion. Her name was Nurse Colombo, and the Montreal General is very fortunate to have such a caring, efficient and kind employee. DD wants to thank her!

Susan Bates: Spacious, pleasant room and lobby, very quiet hotel, and great breakfasts. The staff is friendly and attentive.Rooms: We had a corner room with lots of natural light.Walkability: On a quiet street and close to many good restaurants. We walked everywhere - Griffintown, The Plateau and even Mile End.Noteworthy details: As a converted office building it has many interesting architechtual details. Not your cookie cutter hotel design.
Hannah Morris: . Other than that minor detail, everything else was wonderful - our stay was so lovely. We loved our room - stylish yet retaining old character. Lots of attention to detail and everything was so clean. We appreciated the little touches - beautiful music playing on the TV/wifi when we walked in; chocolate treats laid out for us, and a lovely little note. The location was perfect for us - we wanted to be on foot and explore Old Montreal. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. But the coffee was wonderful. And the staff - especially Estrella and Brithney - was wonderful. We really enjoyed talking to both of them and felt very taken care of. We very much hope to return to the hotel the next time we are going to be in Montreal.
Lily Greener: We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Gault. It was easily walkable to many of the areas we wanted to visit in old Montreal. The staff was incredibly nice from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. This was our first international trip with our son, and we were a little nervous about how that would go, but they had a pack n play for him and the rooms were so spacious that we were able to comfortably set up a space for the crib in the bathroom so that he had a quiet space for naps. We would definitely stay here again!

Cléome Suet: Great experience!I stayed one night in a shared dormitory, no noise problem and the terrace is really nice! In addition, the staff was very helpful, kind and understanding in answering all my questions about Canada and guaranteeing me an easy check-in and check-out. Justine Coureau: First hostel experience and not the least! The location of the hostel is great. The metro, supermarket and living areas are just a few steps away. The staff is smiling, always ready to advise, help and accommodating. I checked in with Nicolas who took the time to explain everything with a smile and my check out with Emma, super smiling and kind. THANKS ! The beds are comfortable, clean with a curtain, hangers, space to put personal items, the lockers are large and the bathroom super clean. Moreover, the common areas are operational whether in the kitchen, lounge or the bar with billiards, table football and ping-pong table. The rooftop is great with its jacuzzi and amenities even if I didn't really enjoy it over time.Really nothing to complain about. I loved my stay and I'll be back soon 😁
