Parc Jarry swimming pool: what do users think?

Francophile Poutine: OPEN DURING THE OCTOBER LONG WEEKEND AND UNTIL OCTOBER 15TH BECAUSE OF WARM TEMPERATURES.

Michele P.: Year after year, I appreciate that Jarry stays open after Labour Day. I want to thank the entire team at this pool for making this possible. The city should be giving you a bonus for working until September 10th.

Yacine Boudaouara: Great lifeguards, love the water, grateful that it is open after the season ends.

jeanseb roux: Nice pool, just don't go the weekend

Varia Ahekian: Great swimming pool. It is better to go there during the week, it is very crowded on the weekend

Michael I: I didn't visit, I walked last but accidentally had my data on

Abdallah Tchelebi: It was a joy to go with my nephews. Played with a ball and no complaints.

IE CA: Excellent swimming pool and supporting staff .

Cynthia Martinez: A beautiful and very cool park to go for a walk, run or have a nice time. You can also have a picnic since it has comfortable tables for it. There is a swimming pool for you to cool off and all kinds of fields to play sports, as well as an athletics track. For children there is a play area, and an outdoor play area that also works during the summer so that the little ones can cool off.

Kaouther Hocine: ❤❤

Cary C.: Nice to have a picnic, just relax. The pool was good during summer also

Luke: Tough fence to jump

Sherry Law: Such a lovely park! So many amenities and considerations are given to the community. They have a mister to refresh passer-bys near the pool entrance. There are so many benches and public seating areas. The beautifications are excellently done! Even the garbage cans have a recycling feature on them for cans and bottles!

Thomas Dumais: Spacious

FeFuLiNo: Take good

Charlotte Cockburn: Love this pool. Gets very crowded on the weekends. Not great for lap swimming. Lockers in the change room.

Nahomi Beaubien: There is a paddling pool perfect for little ones.

오승환: As a summer camp activity, I changed clothes and played with my friends in the locker room of the skating rink next door once a day. There was also a diving pool next to it.There was a pool just for children, but there were a lot of bugs in the water in the summer, so I had to avoid it at times, so it was a bit hectic.

Nicky Nedescu: Best neighborhood pool! Best swim team staff!

Wayne Radford (UncommonAdvisor): Busy community pool.Going to be rebuilt 2023/2024

Piscine Lévesque: what do users think?

Laura Maciel: Swimming classes for kids are great, however the place is small and not very well organized. Only 3 showers, that are at the entry of the pool, blocking the way for people going in/out. Changing rooms get very busy and hot. Very limited space to wait while your child is in class.

Lynda Tria: Very good, competent team and very patient with the little ones, especially with the TSA, really nice. Very clean hygienic side...good luck...

EI Sylvain CARDOT: Three lanes, three speeds and only adult sessions at quite varied times. Other times for families which is very pleasant. The water temperature is ideal for practicing without being either hot or cold. Showers, changing rooms and other facilities are adapted. The staff responds to every request and with great kindness. It can be crowded at certain times, but the experience remains pleasant.

Anne Denicourt-Fauvel: Small, well-configured and pleasant swimming pool establishment!Pleasant room temperature; pool temperature neither too cold nor too hot; clean unisex locker room with sufficient space, benches, lockers; everything is safe and the atmosphere is comfortable. When swimming in lanes, the 3 lanes of the pool are a little narrow but it does the job. Sometimes people stay at the ends, take up a lot of space in the absence of a little corner and chat! It's a bit annoying...maybe the rescuers could warn them. The clientele is varied. Very nice classes for babies. The instructor Clovis is nice.Small problem: the 4 showers for rinsing have been oddly placed in an L shape and, in the end, it gives more than 3 shower spaces.

Corinne Charbonneau: Open baths are very convenient, but sometimes very busy. I especially recommend prenatal aquafitness classes. Our teacher, Emma, was super dynamic!

Heather Collins: Had great experiences both with swimming lessons for our kids and free swim times.

Mario Andrés Velásquez Zabaleta: Really good place!

Joel Cruz: The areas are clean and well organized, it’s a very good place to swim and do some exercise, lifesavers always looking after the pool and the users. Usually very crowded, but definitely my favourite pool in the city

Ole Thienhaus: A wonderful pool, quite busy but patrons are very good at sharing lanes by swimming in circles, especially when lanes are designated “rapide,” “Noten” and “lent.” As in the past, I’d still recommend investing in a swimsuit tumble dry machine……

Florent Denat: Very cool free slots for swimming but there are people

Simon P.: Beautiful swimming pool, quick access to the pool. Lacks a little flexibility in terms of schedules.

eric gaston: Very dynamic swimmers, free swimming pool, customers are friendly

mehrdad paknejad: Hi,I am a swimmer and swim coach training there. This is one of the best pools to swim in considering the water PH, temperature, and clearity.🔴Just make sure not to leave your valuable posessions in the lockers due to ROBBERY even if you lock it, but bring your backpack with yourself and leave it close to the wall on the pool deck.

gorges mendy: Cool

Unknown: Very good swimming pool with unisex changing rooms. The pool is 50 metres long but usually it is divided in two 25 metres. Synchro team is annoying, they keep banging metal on the ladder.to keep tempo but seriously.

victor traisnel: Lots of people in the evening

Satish Kumar Tumulu: Great pool, well maintained and they have public access for free for specific timings all over the year.

Iryna Ravinska: But there is a dryer for the swimming suits. Also, don't forget to take your lock for the locker.

Could: The Olympic Stadium in Montreal stands as a towering testament to the city's Olympic history and architectural ambition. Constructed to host the 1976 Summer Olympics, it remains an iconic symbol of Montreal's global prominence. Designed by French architect Roger Taillibert, its distinctive inclined tower and retractable roof captivate visitors, offering a glimpse into the innovative spirit of its time.Beyond its Olympic legacy, the stadium continues to serve as a versatile venue for various sports and events. From soccer matches to concerts, it provides a dynamic space for communal gatherings and cultural celebrations. Its sprawling grounds offer ample room for large-scale exhibitions and conventions, attracting visitors from across Canada and beyond. However, despite its illustrious past and multifunctional capabilities, the Olympic Stadium grapples with the challenges of maintenance and sustainability. The sheer scale of its design, while awe-inspiring, presents logistical hurdles in terms of upkeep and renovation. Issues with the retractable roof, in particular, have posed ongoing concerns, leading to debates over the feasibility of long-term solutions.Furthermore, the stadium's role as a permanent sports venue has been a subject of contention. With no primary tenant since the departure of the Montreal Expos baseball team in 2004, it struggles to maintain regular programming and revenue streams. This lack of consistent occupancy has led to financial burdens and calls for alternative utilization strategies.Despite these challenges, the Olympic Stadium remains a beloved landmark, cherished for its architectural significance and cultural significance. Its presence on the Montreal skyline serves as a reminder of the city's vibrant past and enduring resilience. As discussions surrounding its future continue, there is hope that innovative solutions will ensure its continued relevance and vitality for generations to come.

Franz Philips Moran: I love you 🏊‍♂️ ❤️

Manjinderjit Singh: Clean & Big swimming pool in NDG .

Michael Metzen: We've been going there almost every day because my daughter loves to swim and it's close by. The people are friendly and everything is in order. Yay.

Miss Bénie: It was my first time. Large swimming pool and it was still crowded, it was quite hot too. We had a nice time.

Liskin Ya: Nice swimming pool. Rescuers young guys are very actively watching the children. They are great

Terrence Spicer: Great place for the family to relax and splash around.

Abo H: Free swimming, thanks from municipality

I PL: There is a small wading pool for K and pre-K to the corner of the main pool. There's a basketball court that becomes a skating rink in the winter. A small community garden. Two basic playgrounds sized for smaller and bigger kids. A faux hill for winter sliding.

Louis Martineau: Worked there in the early 2000's created amazing memories. The sunset at 7pm on our sun kissed faces when we extended the free swim at the golden hour...The addition of the toddler pool is good. They don't seem to extend the hours on hot days anymore though..

Anna Putii: Really like this place, great entertainment for kids. I recommend to visit

Moises Flores: A nice place to share with the family and it is free

Evelyne Sampaio: Quiet and well located place. Large swimming pool, with trampoline....

Le gros Cwlss: Beautiful swimming pool

Louise Talbot: A wonder. Hot water and everythingSee you next year

rachid lamtareq: Vast and enough for all ages, they just need more shade because the sun beats down on their heads,

Gina Orsini: Great place to spend a day. The pool is heated. Although there are alot of people, it does not feel crowded.

Maria Gattina: Beautiful Pool and location, clean and new! I love it!❤

Valerii Strunhar: The pool is just super, no need to go to Turkey. Heated water, very clean. Not many people, entry is free.

Paul Boisvert: 1st level outdoor Olympic swimming pool with 9 large swimming lanes, a 25m swimming pool, access ramp to the water...

Lily Giaccari: Summer 2023, the pool closes from 4:00-5:00 and reopens again at 5:00. It’s very annoying when you are enjoying yourself and then have to pack it up and leave. The small children don’t understand and are dragged away crying !! They should close at 5:00 instead of 4:00 makes more sense. Not liking these hours at all!!! I understand it’s due to staff shortage but our summers are so short and not many beautiful weekends to enjoy the pool. Please please make the changes to close from 5:00-6:00.Although I have to say it’s very clean. Lifeguards are great. All staff very helpful. They even supply spaghetti noodles ! Perfect way to spend a beautiful sunny day. Park right outside for a picnic - no eating at the pool. Only water allowed in plastic or reusable containers. Enjoy

sylviane dunn: come to jump and shout without swimming. Unfortunately, they are not warned by the supervisors. Like the RDP aquatic center.
