Parc-nature du Bois-de-Liesse: what do users think?

A Bousi: Beautiful park. Plenty of street parking and paid onsite. Two hills for sledding. Many great trails for skiing or walking. The Chantel has bathrooms. Organized but not too organized.

Anmol Joneja: Went cross country skiing. The trails are well marked and easy to follow. The trails are pretty popular but not so much that a newcomer to skiing can't find his feet. The people at the rental center are great. Very helpful.

Neil Zhou: Chill

Marguerite Kopiec: Nice walk even if there are mosquitoes.

Ben Haroune: Hello I am

Claude Schetagne: Cute and rustic

Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park: what do users think?

MRS ESL (MrsESL): Street parking available on Rue d’iberville. Nice mostly level walk along the River about 1km one way to the right of Iberville entrance.Plenty of benches along the way and a few picnic tables.

Kirtan Varasia: This place is always mesmerising

Ayel Mei Rubia: This park is a wonderful place to be for various activities, for leisure walks, runs, biking, picnics or for when you just simply want to walk your dog. The trails are relaxing especially with the babbling sound of the flowing water close to the bistro, the rustling leaves swayed gently by the wind calms me down. It’s probably even better when the leaves and flowers finally blooms.Nature’s wildlife is also rich in this area, different kinds of birds are seen throughout, snails on branches of trees will bring awe to kids who like to feed their curiosity and adventurism. Some people are also fishing and some are just enjoying the peace on a boat.Picnic grounds are also great and there are designated areas for BBQ, there’s an area where you can put up a tent; plenty of garbage/recycling bins; parking space may be more challenging during the summer.Playground: The grassy areas is great playground for playing catch, frisbee, toss games, spikeball etc.Restrooms: There a toilet/washroom inside the welcome center, close to the parking.Dog-friendliness: There’s a poop bag station free of charge right by the entrance of the park, the trails are great for running with kids and dogs alike.Picnic area: Picnic tables are scattered around the area.

Élise Lemaire: Pleasant urban park, combining woodland and waterfront.

Pierre Teyssedre: Superb park for balances with family, couple or even alone, summer and winter

RAFT Sullivan: Listen to my boyfriend, the Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park is like a big hug from nature saying to you: “Come and have fun with me, and forget your problems, tabarnak!” First of all, hiking trails are like a giant treasure hunt, but instead of finding gold coins, you just find your inner peace, you know. And the banks of the Rivière des Prairies, it's like the perfect spot for a romantic date: you sit there, with your girlfriend, and you give her loving glances and say to yourself: "Aren't you lucky to be with you, my dear?"Ah, and the activities there aren't just activities, they're excuses to play cheap jokes with your friends! Whether it's a fishing trip where you catch nothing, but where you laugh all the same, or a jogging session where you end up falling on the ground, there's always a way to have a little fun, you see.And don't forget the history of the area, with the old mills which remind you that you are as old as time itself. That's when you tell yourself that good old things are good, and you can't wait to tell that to your grandchildren one day.In summary, the Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park is not just a park, it is a real antidote against urban gloom. This is where you find your joy of living, your sense of humor, and maybe even

RAWANE INFOS: Very quiet which deserves to be well maintained

Parc-nature du Bois-de-L'Île-Bizard: what do users think?

Greg Holden: If you have biked Ile Bizard during Spring, chances are you have encountered a turtle attempting to cross the road. I’ve always stopped and given the creature some help. Was pleased to read the following in this regard..

Abdenour MICHA MERAZKA: RaS

Susana De Madariaga: April is not the prettiest month to visit the park, but I highly recommend it any time. The footbridges allow you to see the animals clearly. We saw turtles on the ground! To park, you had to go to the part of the beach, paid parking.

gerardo serrano: Very beautiful park for walking, cycling and in winter sky background.

Angie: A beautiful day in a beautiful park

Jean-François N.: Of all the nature parks in Montreal, that of Île Bizard is one of my favorites because of the variety of environments it shelters: shore of Lac des Deux-Montagnes, marshes, cedar forest, mature maple grove. Many species of birds can be observed there, but it will also interest fans of geology and paleontology since the island was a seabed 480 million years ago.

Martin Bourdeau: Amazing for walking or biking! Highly recommended to enjoy the nature.Restrooms: Only 1 main restroom. They definitely need more.Picnic area: They have 1 dedicated picnic area.

leto BG: Beautiful park surrounded by water

Saint-Jacques Escarpment: what do users think?

Tom Abray: It has potential. The woods are nice. There's also an overgrown road, with brick drains beside it that are similar to what they have on Chemin Olmsted. The path needs some trimming and is hard to follow in places. It would be great to be able to follow it from where St. Jacques meets the 720 all the way to Girouard. Unfortunately, some people seem to use some areas as a garbage dump.

Joe Zerter: Great spot to walk your dog

Nadia Laurin: I love this path. It is a wonderful escape from all the city noise. The only downside is running into unleashed dogs that aren't always so friendly. Otherwise, the path has been such a wonderful addition to our neighborhood.

Tim N: gem for NDG. Great place for a long walk without having to travel out of NDG. Some birds you don’t usually see in the city. Kid friendly.

Mohamed Remki: Dog-friendliness: Avec laisse

Nicole Anderson: Great place to walk your dog, bike, jog, walk and feel connected to nature even though the highway is to the right and the train may even pass by. The newly protected park is one of the greenbelts in Montreal for the wildlife and a migratory path for many variety of birds. Once the trees and surrounding flora fill in it will be as close to nature as you can get without having to spend money on gas to get out of the city. So try it with the family, there are benches to sit and picnic.

Louise Clément: but it was worth it. A major clean-up is underway. Unbelievable to see everything that people throw into this magnificent wooded area :-

floatingsister: I loved it, especially the corners of the feeders that the citizens installed

Rachel Green: a cool Montreal secret. don't miss the falaisosaurus

Kent Conover: Beautiful panorama of the forested falaise.

Silvia Di Marco: Wow went as a kid back in 1978 and here I am in 2021 back here. This place is a little hidden jem. The trail is well kept and walkable...watch out for the poison ivy signs...well check out my pics and judge for yourself
