Pâtisserie Au Kouign Amann: what do users think?

Roo Latif: . Affordable and smiles aplenty from the lovely folk that work there.

Nana Khadijah: I loved the cozy vibe of this space. It was a pretty small cafe, two tables but I was able to get seating as most people came for take outs. The Koiugn Amann was so yummy!I really appreciated that the staff were so nice and patient to speak French slowly to me as they could tell I was trying to practice 😅

Carson Wong: It would've been a shame if they didn't do their namesake justice...but they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Excellent Kouign Amann with a crispy sweet exterior and flaky buttery interior. Would've loved to also try their croissants but they sell out quick!

Cyril BECKER: Very tasty Kouogn Amman I have tried the chocolat one as well, there is so much butter that it melts in mouth

Arthur Zak: 8 years ago I stumbled into this Cafe accidentally and had one of the best desserts I had ever eaten. Now 8 years later I had the pleasure of eating it again. Nowhere else I have tried kouign amann comes close to the pastry here. Crackling, chewy crust, and an almost custardy soft inside. 10/10 would eat again. A must eat for any Montreal trip.

Smiltė Bataitytė: Original cannoli was so deliciuos! If I could I would buy cakes and all desserts because they look really deliciuos. We have tried nut cannoli with pistachio cream it was sweet and really tasty, more to sweet side. Thank you and wish you good luck. I will come back again. No tables to sit inside, but you can enjoy cannoli in fresh air ☀️

Helena Gattuso: Everything you try it’s just amazingAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Sandrine Décarie: Wonderful pastries! I received cannolis, key lime pie, Mona Lisa and passion fruit dessert for my birthday. Catherine Lehouillier: Pastries and pastries of exceptional quality. An establishment worthy of 6 out of 5 stars in my opinion.

Saeed Ahmadiani: The kouing Aman was perfect! The cheesecake was good, but its base was like a raw flour in mouth that would cover the pallette and would ruin the taste of the cheesecake. The latte was too small! It was the smallest and coldest latte I have ever had, and I paid 4.5 for it!Btw, if you get there after 11 a.m., you probably miss the giant chocolate croissants

Robert Ruffo: and by the time I get off work they're closed. They would have taken 5x more of my money by now if they kept hours that aligned with when I, and I'm sure the majority of their customer pool, can go. Why not 11:00- 7:00? 10:30-6:30? Would probably even be easier for them to find staff, because few young people want to wake up at 6AM to make a 7:30 shift

Chris L: We are visiting Montreal - we stumbled upon this place and stopped for brunch. Everything was delicious! The people are really friendly. I want to eat all the things in the cabinet; but I’m too full!!I have already pinned this place for my next visit to Montreal - I will definitely be coming back!

Elise Barber: Such a lovely little place! Stopped in here with two grumpy kids looking for something remotely healthy, and was thrilled to be able to get them a grilled cheese sandwich and a delicious smoothie- picky kid approved! Super friendly service, several dairy free options for my husband, and an amazing selection of baked goods, all for a reasonable price. We'll be back here.

Best Quests: We were attracted by the exterior decor and once inside we realized it gets better. So many things we would love the purchase including prayer style candles with pop stars or celebrities on them which we loved.Apart from the beautiful and elaborate interior we enjoyed some magnificent, homemade tasting macarons in various delicious flavours and French toast latte, yes read that again, it's as good as it sounds. We also couldn't help but get the cookie adorned with lucky charms which was too  if to finish but still wonderful.

Mathieu Landry: Very good service, excellent smoked salmon bagel, pleasant atmosphere.

Mehdi: the croissants early in the morning are to die for !!!!

Archana Rao: Recommended dishes Red Velvet Butter Ball

Léna Brandenbusch: Chocolate birthday cake to roll around on the floor. Flavors and quality assured.

Flerida Infante: Loved my almond croissant and chai latte! The atmosphere is so cozy and charming and the staff is very attentive and friendly. She was very accommodating and answered every question we had and made sure we enjoyed our time there.

Anjali: The staff is always so sweet and accommodating! I have celiac so this place is perfect for me! The pastries, cookies, etc average around 5 CAD each but obviously it is dependent on whatever you get! Love them though like seriously having gluten free pastries that genuinely yummy makes my heart so happy, I always make my way here for my sweet fix !I really like the carrot cake, carré aux bleuets, and the carré that had chocolate + coconut!!

L K: Very good gluten free location. My only sadness is that back in March 2022 they had this delicious pistachio & chocolate cookie that appeared on the menu.. then suddenly a few months later when I came back in they informed me that they never had such a creation? I dream of that cookie. I wish I knew its name & why it appeared so suddenly just as suddenly as it disappeared.

Thomas Simpkin: The whole cafe is gluten free and there are vegan options! The vegan options are rly good!Food: 5/5 …

Einar Tysén Wester: Loved everything we had, from muffins to loafs. Very nice bread demo counter that helps you choose what fits your current fancyRecommended dishes Focaccia Sea Salt, Baguettes …

Quynh Nguyen: Delicate pastries but a little too greasy for my taste. My butter croissant is very airy and the crust is very crispy and thin, however I would prefer it a little less greasy. Its flavor is very unique, feels like there is just a hint of spice or something but not overwhelming at all. Pain Suisse is a little too chocolaty 😭 Overall just not my style, but I do appreciate the level of craftsmanship that the chef has put into making his baked goods.

remi c: One of my favorite bakeries in Montreal. The croissants are excellent there too.

Boulangerie Chez Fred: what do users think?

Quynh Nguyen: The best almond croissants I’ve ever had out of the 5-6 popular bakeries in Montreal. The almond filling is very custardy and doesn’t have the artificial almond flavoring that I sometimes tasted in an almond croissant. Their butter croissants are lacking a little bit of flakiness, but are very buttery so they are still pretty decent overall.

The Button Store • La Boutique de Macarons: Coffee wonder!

nocap: great apple turnover and service. i recommend

Maria Isabelle Hernandez: For 12 years, I have been buying my croissants from the brothers Frédéric and Ludovic, the best croissants in town. Today I tried a sandwich that I haven't had the chance to try before. WOW, try it with roast beef! Personally, it's my favorite sandwich :-DLong life !

kala'i shigetomi: Very good croissant and pastries. However very disappointed with the coffee, which we prepared in a dirty cup.Request not respected I asked for a cappuccino I got a latte.Otherwise good pastries

Chloé Picoron: For several years now, Madeleine has remained a sure bet for their pastries, their pastries... Always well balanced, we have never been disappointed! Thank you for delighting us every time! Special mention for the Mother’s Day cake tasted yesterday… a treat!Recommended dishes Madeleine, Pâtisseries Appétissantes, Croissant Miso Et Fromage …

Quynh Nguyen: A cute little shop with delicious cakes and friendly staff. I took the recommendation from the staff and got the pistachio tart and it was so freaking amazing. The miso cheese croissant was probably the best fusion kind of croissant I’ve ever tasted. The Paris brest was really good too but didn’t impress me as much. Seating is limited to 3 tables but it wasn’t too busy either so still a good place for some coffee, some cake while getting your work done.

Alice Wu: I recommend the gjanduja croissant, killer! On the other hand, they leave quickly, if you come after 3 p.m., there are no more :( I also tried the croissants and a few pastries, and I approve everything!

sarah terrasse: We highly recommend and we will come back. The shop and its location don't look like much, and the choices of pastries are limited to 4/5 choices. but frankly, the pastries fell off the chair, we came from the south shore to rediscover our French taste and our know-how and we were not disappointed. there is a lot of work on each pastry and it is excellent. THANKS

Love how it incorporates French, Japanese favors in some pastries. Service is okay, but with food this good, it tends to be overlooked. No real location to sit, so it's takeout only.

Patisserie Lawrence V.: what do users think?

Mia M.: PLV did our wedding cake recently and knocked it out of the park. We had the lemon blueberry cake with vanilla buttercream - a cake that had sentimental value to us - and it was just as we had originally remembered it. The cake was moist, fresh, and not too sweet. We received many compliments from our guests. Our venue was equally as impressed and asked where the cake was from, as it was one of the best they had tasted. The presentation was also beautifully done.Communication with the patisserie was challenging at times as we encountered slow response times leading up to the event, including confirming final details and payment. This added some stress to the wedding planning process, but ultimately the communication issue was resolved amicably.

Azadeh Maroufmashat: . I also shared the photos for people to see how the inside looks like

Vanessa G: We got our wedding cake here and it was honestly one of the highlights of our wedding. Everyone we spoke to after told us how great the cake was and asked where we got it from. We chose the raspberry lemon poppy flavour. It was perfect for spring/summer. It's delicious, light and not too sweet. Lawrence was easy to work with and brought our vision to life. He guides you in the look and taste without imposing. All of this at a reasonable price. Thanks again Lawrence!

Raphael Tagalakis: Great tasting light cakesIf you need a cake for a special occasion it's worth it to come here!!

Stefania Scordo: Always delicious!!

Jessica Omana: This has to be the Best lime pie I have ever had! The perfect level of sugar and the perfect texture. I just couldn’t stop.

Robin Wilson: So I had previously had such amazing service and had religiously gone here to buy all of my cakes and desserts. But I bought a cake on Saturday September 4th, half vanilla and have chocolate cake, it looked good but it tasted really funky. It was at least 2 - 3 days old and tasted like the fridge. The frosting had a spicy almost peppery taste that wasn't good. None of my guests enjoyed it and we ended up throwing it out bearly touched. Such a waste. Sorry guys I think you've lost a client. Ok I'm updating my prior bad experience, I gave them another try and was blown way. Quality is back up and the service was extraordinary!

Samy H: Finding a place where the pastry is excellent is difficult, and yet I found it! LawrenceV is a place where the art of being a pastry chef is fully expressed.I have tried several cakes and pastries, they are all really excellent! And what work in the presentations, it's beautiful and good.... Plus the team is super professional in the service, for me it's my adopted pastries forever!

sam hammadache: Honestly one of the best pastries I know. They have a well-kept secret, that's for sure, to be so good. Their cakes and pastries are a feast for the eyes and a pleasure for the palate!Highly recommended, perfect score of 10/10!!!

Tony A.: One of the best pastry shops in town. Very professional staff and they go out of their way to give you a finished product better than you had expected.

Victor Alvarez: Excellent service, delicious cakes

Maria Kassis: The cake was even more beautiful than I imagined. A true masterpiece. And what about the taste?? Wow!! Thanks again.I highly recommend.

Farah Albader: I first came across Patisserie Lawrence in 2019 and it has been my go to bakery ever since. Everyone is so friendly and there is a family feel to the place so you will always feel welcome. I have ordered multiple items from them including beautifully designed custom cakes, cupcakes as well as delicious 'cake in a jar' items and most recently yummy sugar cookies! Great quality desserts and I am always impressed with the designs of all my orders. Thank you!
