Amanda: , I was very nervous about getting reinjured and sought out a trainer with experience in rehabilitation who could provide a lot of guidance. Was cautiously optimistic that Miles had training that spanned kinesiology, posturology, naturopathy, Eldoa and lots of other related areas that seemed like they could help in my case.My initial goals were just to regain basic functional strength for everyday things like carrying groceries and going for longer walks, since even these simple activities were causing me pain for days afterwards. In the initial consultation, Miles performed a thorough assessment of all the major muscles and joints to check my limitations and came up with a rehab plan spanning about 6 weeks, and suggested after that time we could move towards a more ambitious weightlifting program, starting out slowly and building over time. I was quite skeptical but decided to give it a try.Within the first few weeks, we focused more on postural rehabilitation, stretching and gentle strength exercises. He assigned a couple of deceptively easy hip flexor stretches as homework, which became a part of my regular routine. At first I was only moving a bit but slowly started to gain more mobility in the hips and pelvis. After 10 weeks I can't believe how much mobility I've gained, I'm pretty much able to lunge down to the ground and my previous knee pain is all gone. I long ago stopped waking up feeling stiff, my feet are no longer sore and I've been able to lift heavy items with ease

J S: Nice basic gym as a tourist for dropping in. I think it was $20. Staff is super nice and helpful.Bring sneakers during the winter as you leave your boots outside. Has 2 section: cross fit and weights. Rap and dubstep were playing to pump you up. Tip, check the dry sauna is on, it takes a good 20 mins to heat up.

Ryan Ferguson: This was my gym-away-from-home while we stayed in Montreal for a couple of months. The owner and staff were super helpful and nice. I would highly recommend this gym whether you're in town temporarily or always! They seem to have flexible membership plans to fit everybody's situation. Thanks!

You can just as easily talk about your day as you can about the best exercise for scapular strength.I can lambast about the hours and how the weekends are only from 9:00 to 15:00. Or that holidays are off. And I can try to find reason that a small space would feel cramped. But it doesn’t. And it’s never so busy that you can’t do what you want when you want. Ann the criticism I may have is a drop in the bucket of everything else that’s so great about the place.U.N.I. is a home. The staff is a family. And you will always be welcomed as part of the community.

One day she told me “Wanting the best for you doesn’t mean that I do things your way!”Raquel is perfectly matched to my concerns and needs.She give me the special attention and do the things that I need in order to get me motivated. Romain Colliau: I visit the gym almost every day, the staff is nice and the gym itself is quite spacious. One of my favorite features is its elevated location with large windows, allowing for plenty of natural light. I have monthly check-ins with a coach named Gabriel, who is fantastic. Additionally, the coaches here are qualified physiotherapists. I chose this gym primarily because it's easily accessible by metro and is less crowded than other gyms I've been to 👍
