Elspeth: I had a wonderful time with my two friends. We went on a Thursday for their jazz night and it was so much fun! There was a $7 add on for the live band which we were told about while being seated. Our server was so friendly and took great care of us. The bar was very reminiscent of a speakeasy, it was very dark and tables were lit by candles. If you have issues seeing in the dark, definitely take that into account. After a little while my eyes adjusted, but when I first walked in it was hard to see. Overall I had a lovely time. The cocktails were delicious, staff were friendly, the band was wonderful and I will definitely be going back!

It was a mostly empty Thursday night and there was a game on so the group that was there mostly hung at the bar and watched that. It seemed to get a little busier the later it got though. Tracy Meshanko: I celebrated my birthday last night at the Wheel Club, and did we ever have a great time! The staff were so friendly, the bar service was efficient, my friends told me the nachos and dumplings were tasty, and my thanks to Cyndi in particular. Now for the music: the opening band, the Band of Hopes and Dreams, got the party started and seemed to be appreciated by all. Then the Mike Uzan Band, dressed in 70’s attire, burned up the dance floor. I mean, there were few people sitting because everyone was dancing! FYI in general the cover charge is around $10-$20, which can’t be beat. If you’ve never tried the Wheel Club, take a look at their website for the upcoming shows, the menu, and the free parking map; most bands can be seen on YouTube.

Antony Albegre: One of the best places to see a show in Montreal!
Aynsley Jay: Decent venue! Love that there’s seating upstairs. They could use more bartenders working though so you’re not waiting in long lines and missing the show.

shanna Dupuis: I’ve been to concerts all over the city of Montreal and club soda is hands down one of my favorite venues. It’s clean, the bar and bar keeps are on point and even security was friendly! The sound was spectacular and I can’t wait to go see another show there!

Marc Bouffard: A staple of the montreal festival scene but a little tighter and a little longer than most. Standing at the back means you're a little further from the band than the usual. Second floor has great seats however, just arrive early to get them as they are first come first served.
