The classrooms and space have an airy feel, children are not over stimulated and play freely. The outdoor space is beautiful, with a garden planted by staff, children and parents. The daycare has many activities. It is on the third floor, but the staff is well trained and they have fire drills. I really appreciate that I am leaving my child with a caring and dedicated staff.

Jes Correa: have made what is usually a very difficult transition from full-time homecare to full-time daycare extremely pleasant, reassuring and educational. I have zero negative feelings when I leave my son here in the mornings, and I know he is in the best possible environment for his development. After researching, I knew I wanted a Montessori education for him and this was one of the only legitimate daycares I found that provides this. His educator is so caring and always smiling. He adores her and talks about her often at home. Mélissa L: My child has been going to this private daycare for 1 year. Everything is going well, my educator communicates quickly and very well in both languages, French and English. We have an application to predict the time we will arrive before picking up our child and an application to see his progress and activities to do at home to help him in his development. The staff at the reception desk are responsive and respond professionally, except that they communicate more in English, so you no longer need to speak to them face to face or on the phone. Personally, I was looking for a way to communicate in English, so I like it. Unfortunately, I didn't see specifically inside, but I agree that everything is clean and the daycare does not have an overload of toys which allows my child to find his way. The maintenance staff takes very good care of the exterior and the daycare has 2 courtyards for children, very well maintained. The daycare offers photos or moment sharing on Instagram. The meals look attractive and healthy from the photos and menu. I have never had any dissatisfaction with the service I received or that of my child. I am in a multi-age group, I had to plan costs during the year for the purchase of food on a voluntary basis for a Halloween and Christmas buffet, costs for the purchase of materials such as paper, pencil, box of handkerchief. Regarding daycare prices, it increased this year I imagine that this must be done every year so to plan and the purchase of a daycare uniform, however the uniform can be mixed with store clothes of the same color. Finally, the photos on Instagram and the daycare website represent the daycare well. I hope I was able to help another parent make their daycare choice.

Kells provides each student with his/her own learning experience and the child is able to learn as quickly or as slowly as is best for that child. Both my kids loved Kells and were sad on the week-end and over the Summer because they could not go to school. H Habash: What started off as a last minute resort turned out to be the best decision made!To give some context, I had signed up my son to an all French private school for his kindergarten year. Two months down the line, his teacher indicated that he might be suffering some worrying learning challenges! Knowing how bright this kid is I went to seek a specialist’s opinion, who in turn assured us that these difficulties are merely a result of facing a new language that he’d never used at home, and probably a lack of experience on the side of the teacher. I decided to move him out abruptly, and the only placement I found considering the time was at Kells. Within 3 months of joining kells he‘d learnt all the alphabet and begun reading. In one year he’s turned a bookworm and an a achieving kid who takes a great interest in learning. The small number of kids in classes and the focused and personalized approach to each kid’s learning needs is a big plus at Kells. I would like to thank Ms. Brady, a dedicated teacher who doesn’t view teaching as a job but rather a life quest. The principal, Ms. Perlman, with her hands on and detail-oriented approach. Ms. Miceli who’s a delight to watch around kids and Elizabeth in admin who goes out of her way in looking after the kids. Thank you all for doing such a remarkable job!

Aditya Pulya: Our daughter started going to this playschool as soon as we moved in to Montreal, Canada. Infact she was the one who identified this playschool while we were walking towards the Mackenzie king park. We met Mr.Sam the administrator there who showed us around the place. They have a very good setup spread across 3 floors and with many classrooms and staff based on the age groups. Since then she likes the playschool so much that she is very excited about going to it every morning. They are open between 7 am and 6 pm and provide good nutricious food starting from breakfast till evening snacks there itself for the students. They even take the students to nearby Mackenzie king park if weather permits or to their own backyard play facility. Recently they held a really good Graduation ceremony for the senior kids with lots of cute dance and singing performances which my daughter too were part of. Parents too were invited and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the well choreographed function. There are really supportive to any requests to us and always wanting to improve on a daily basis. Everyone is so determined and committed to the welfare of the children and so I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good playschool and daycare faculty in and around Victoria Ave and Snowdon area

While my boys were attending St G I met a Marianopolis College teacher and he described the St G students as standing out in his class by their questions and comments which were thoughtful and insightful.. He said the St G students were not the best at memorizing material but they sure could think.

Cherry Yi: I spent the first week together with my daughter in this lovely place, so I got the chance to observe quite a lot. The director is charming and surprisingly bonded with every child in his daycare. He is always immediately welcome by the children when entering the room like Santa Claus coming to town. The educators are sweet, caring and extremely patient when children misbehave. I found 4-5 pm everyday is very tricky for the educators, because it is the picking up time. The children whose parents came later became whiny when they saw their classmates leaving. The educators distract them with playing, cheering them up by singing songs while always holding the biggest crying baby in their arms. I kept my daughter at home for a week when she caught a cold, and witnessed her giving the educators a big I MISS YOU smile the moment when she returned there, so I know she is genuinely happy in her daycare.

Terrance Mockler: Attended late 60's and early 70's. It looks like it has modernized quite a bit since then. Such as being co-ed. When I was there some senior teachers still wore robes on occasion. They used corporal punishment too. Certainly better than the public school alternatives back then. You get what you pay for. I have a master's degree from Harvard University and am close to retiring from a teaching career in South Florida..
