Larissa Terra-Muzeau: I had a consultation in gynecology with Dr Karen Buzaglo and it was wonderful. She was patient, heard all my medical history, looked into my records and made me feel comfortable all along. The consultation took 30 minutes. I felt heard, respected and well taken care of. Worth every penny!

M L: Visited Dr. Leandra Rabinovitch this morning for ongoing health concerns I had. She was extremely patient, understanding, and kind. She addressed all my needs and I did not feel rushed. My reception at the clinic was warm and the wait times were reasonable. I did have some difficulty getting ahold of the receptionist initially, but the medical service itself was great.

Manon Latendresse: Dr. Cynthia Mardinger was extremely meticulous and gentle in performing a IUD insertion. I was very stressed and worried about the pain, as it is an invasive procedure, but she put me immediately at ease. Her method is very delicate and effortless. I was happy surprised at how painless and efficient the entire process was. Highly recommend Dr Cynthia Mardinger for any medical needs.

Rhea Dellis: After being wronged by doctor after doctor I have never found a doctor so caring, compassionate and understanding as Dr. Cynthia Mardinger. As a woman, I feel like many times our medical problems are overlooked and underestimated, leaving us to feel misunderstood by the medical field and frankly left alone to fight against the system. Dr. Mardinger could not be further than that. From our first appointment, she listened to me, cared about the symptoms I was feeling and immediately sent me to do a plethora of tests to rule out every possible cause. She has become my go-to healthcare provider and I’m so happy and relieved to find someone I can trust. Tanvir: Had my Panniculectomy and Gynecomastia surgery done by Dr. Roy Kazan and his team. It was one of the best medical experiences I have encountered in Québec. Starting from the Medical Students, residents, nurses, attending and support staff. The McGill network at the MGH really stepped up when it came to my care and overall medical needs. Thank you to all the professionals!
Janet Ramsay: I am writing this on behalf of a friend, DD, an 80 yr old gentleman who received care at the hospital on March 14th 2024. He had fallen and incurred a head injury requiring a CT scan, referred by the Royal Victoria hospital. He was asked which MD would follow up and said he did not know. He was told “someone would contact him”. Concerned about this, he went to the Emergency dept and took number 34 and was soon seen by the nurse at the desk. He explained his situation to her and she said “this is not right, I’m going to find the answer for you”. She took his B/P, temp, O2sats and then gave him a referral sheet with an appt for a specialist. He was beyond grateful for this nurse who went over and above to help him with kindness and compassion. Her name was Nurse Colombo, and the Montreal General is very fortunate to have such a caring, efficient and kind employee. DD wants to thank her!

bryan wabie: My sister is in this hospital and she being taken care of very well, but the cafeteria is another thing my wife and I came to have lunch and the lady at the check out said she didn't speak English in English and said with a attitude I only speak French here and she told her college that what you say here only, you speak French we will no longer support the cafeteria in this hospital, but we do support the medical services they are doing a great job, thank you all for the great service you are doing for my sister. Bob Aubery: This hospital is everything that is right about the Quebec health care system. Sure the hospital needs refurbishing but the staff are caring and compassionate and the doctors and nurses very competent and efficient. Yes, waiting times are long, but, hey, go check out other provinces and see if it is any better. We had an appointment at the Jewish prior to Sacré Coeur and we waited much longer at the Jewish. But again, wait times that were justified.

christina Vincelli: My son was diagnosed with a severe hernia by his GP. The extreme pain brought us to St Mary’s hospital emerg. After 5 hrs my son was taken for Blood test where it was positive for low sodium. I left at 3 am he called at 9 am going into surgery. He has colon cancer, I am so grateful to the amazingly unbelievable emerg team who cared for him. So grateful for Dr.Trapanier for performing an incredible surgery & removing as much as tge cancer that she could. His care up to date has been excellent.

Scorchy: I was briefly hospitalized there a few years back when I was 17 and it was an amazing hospital, everything was new and fancy, the staff was nice and understanding. The room I was put in was so big and not shared with anyone else. Probably the best hospital I've seen in Quebec. The only issue was the mediocre hospital food, otherwise it's a very nice environnement to help someone feel at ease and heal properly.

They saved my life after I fell into a coma. I must say that I was surprised to see all the staff were friendly, and very attentive to my needs and willing to answer all my questions.I would like to thank all the staff on the 4th floor of Intensive Care for your wonderful work.You are angels of God.Thank you for giving me a second life without too many after-effects.

Matt: What a pleasure to have Dr. Khalil Masri as a doctor. I am a great athlete and my knees take wear and tear. He has been treating me for my left knee for 2 years and quickly took care of me and gave me very good advice this winter following a skiing accident in the West where I tore my anterior cruciate ligament.He is super friendly, very knowledgeable, passionate, smiling and on time! I would give it 6 stars if I could.In addition, we share the same passions for alpine skiing and water skiing, so he understands my injuries and my desire to remain active as long as possible.The clinic is well located with indoor parking. Very practical when you have reduced mobility in winter. The people are friendly and managing appointments is easy. If only the public system were as efficient...

Jean Lessard: Following an accident with one knee, I had to have an operation, I have already had the same type of operation, the last time it was horror, this time I met Dr. Masri, he took the time to do the exams, he answered my questions, he never made me feel rushed. By his way of being the feeling of confidence was installed, today, a week after my first meeting, it was my surgery, I was already afraid of the pain, I wanted to be put to sleep, I I really don't like needles so I didn't want to see nothing, hear nothing, feel, I met the institute team starting with the base reception, exemplary service, very well received before and after the decision to go in surgery with them, then the nurses, wow they were there for me, the comfort, the kindness, the good care wow, then the anesthetist, explained to me the difference between the different types of possible anesthesia and he explained to me recommended the epidural with a sedative, I was trembling with fear, and I trusted him, wow, nothing felt, no pain it was great, the operating room team were exactly the same as the others, human, professional, they really took the time to treat me with respect and humanism. And the conductor Dr.Masri, wow quite an orthopedist, he has all my trust and respect, I recommend them without hesitation, yes it's private but our system is sick so between waiting in pain for 1 year and a half to see an orthopedist, a call, 1 appointment, a week later I have surgery. If necessary, I would return to the Institute of Specialized Surgery in Montreal.Thanks to the team and Dr. Masri

Chloé Coeurdassier: I came in the urgency room at 5pm knowingThat I would possibly stay there all night. I was called in pre-triage and triage within the hours or so. The nurse told me that it wasn’t worth for me to wait here all night as my urgency wasn’t as urgent as others but still needed a check up quick. She gave me an appointment to a clinicNear my house the next day. I waited 30min for the lady at enregistrement to call me but didn’t so I just went up to her and asked kindly and she did my appointments on the spot. I know sometimes it can be long but surprisingly I was served pretty fast and kindly. Glory to God.
