Jardin Nelson: what do users think?

Jérôme GAUTIER: Superb restaurant. Atypical place, relaxing, quite classy and at the same time a little BOBO. Trendy bar/restaurant. Bravo for the concept. Overhead heating at each table, covered by HUGE cone-shaped parasols. The staff is super pleasant and gives you the impression of being a known and privileged customer. And then the catering all follows this atmosphere!!!! This is a place not to be missed.

R L (Ike): . Il y a des musiciens qui jouent du jazz tous les jours de la semaine, pour accompagner votre repas. C'était vraiment agréable. Les portions sont généreuses et le service est super ! J'y retournerais sans aucune hésitation.

Alyce: A completely incredible restaurant

Jennifer Watts: We were thrilled to discover this incredible restaurant as a family of five in a recent trip to Montreal. The extensive menu offered something for everyone, making it difficult to choose! I enjoyed the delicious chard, my husband chose the pork crepe, and we shared a delightful pitcher of sangria. Our kids loved the ribs, pizza, and pasta. The staff was both kind and professional, and the ambiance was charming, set amidst picturesque buildings. With outdoor seating made cozy by heaters, our experience was very comfortable. We're very much looking forward to returning in the summer when the flowers are in full bloom!!

Leïla Hermann: We discovered this restaurant by chance and it was a very pleasant surprise.Impeccable quality of dishes, fast service and very cute place. Our host, Anne-Marie, was very attentive and very helpful. Thanks to her we had a great time.I highly recommend.

Maggie Oakes: what do users think?

Chantal Lanthier: We had the starter of Caesar salads, crispy shrimp, and of course the T-bone with vegetables... Yummm... I recommend this restaurant and I'm going back soon to enjoy the magnificent terrace! I recommend!

Peter Holdway: We stopped here for a coffee on the terrace in the sun, but then had a very nice breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. So why only 4 stars? When we arrived at about 10.45, we asked if we could have coffee, and the waiter hesitated before saying yes and then giving us a lunch menu each. It was only when we looked at other tables we saw that they had a smaller menu. So we asked what they were, and we were told they were breakfast menus. We then asked if breakfast was still available and were told "yes".So, we ordered from the smaller menu and had a lovely breakfast

Eddy Lin: Shoutout to Pascal, probably the best server we had in this trip. Gave us lots of time, no pressure 😉 asked us for our food preference, patiently listing the tea selection. Always had the customer experience in mind. Food was good, just look at how the eggs were done. Kitchen was faster than the drinks bar for some reason, but overall, glad we visited this restaurant

Toqué!: what do users think?

Jessie D'Aigle: Toqué is a culinary gem that truly delivers an exceptional dining experience through its "menu dégustation". From start to finish, this restaurant exuded excellence in service, presentation, and taste.Upon stepping into Toqué, we were greeted with impeccable service that set the tone for the evening. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcomed and at ease throughout the dining experience. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the seven-course tasting menu that proved to be a culinary journey like no other. Each dish was not only beautifully plated but also showcased a careful balance of flavors that left us wanting more. From the first bite to the last, every course was a delightful surprise, showcasing the chef's mastery in combining ingredients to create a symphony of taste. My girlfriend, Julie, and I were thoroughly impressed by the thoughtful execution of each dish and appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. ... And the champagne pairing was excellent.

Isabel Carrier: , nice meeting with Normand Laprise

yx Sun: I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful. The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes. The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.

Labo culinaire - Foodlab: what do users think?

Bren Sutter: , and I could not recommend it enough if you are looking to host your own large event. I am still in shock about how well everything was executed. Rocco was a delight to work with

Michel Condoroussis: We picked the perfect day to go as we were able to sit in their large rooftop terrace right next to the Monument-National. The service was very nice and the food was very original. We started off with some cocktails and ordered food throughout and everything was great and had a nice twist to it, so they really experiment and add their own flavors. A nice spot even if a little pricey, but I think the prices are reasonable for the quality.

Beatrice Soucy: Always very pleasant! Delicious Food and Cocktails. Very good service. I was with a celiac friend the last time I went there, and the server made sure that all the dishes ordered were gluten-free.Very pleasant terrace.

Île Flottante: what do users think?

Ju Co: What an experience!DeliciousSuper friendly staffWarm and friendly atmosphere, without fussExcellent place for a special romantic date!

Melanie Qin: This restaurant pushes the boundaries of creativity to the next level. The extra effort in each dish is carefully crafted with intention and elegance. It seems like so many ingredients when the plate is presented, but they all work harmoniously together to give an impactful flavor that feels familiar yet totally unfamiliar at the same time. With the menu changing seasonally, it's without a doubt super enticing for me to go back to discover a whole new set of works of art. Because that's what it was... masterpieces!

Lavanya Kala: . They really took care of us and we had a great time. Strongly recommend a visit! Make sure you do the wine pairings.

Éliane Giasson: Superb experience! The staff is extremely attentive to us.The food and wine pairings were sublime, and the sommelier's explanations were very dynamic. We loved our experience!Thank you so much !

Raphaël Sylvestre Bouchard: , hardwood floors, a few discreet plants and original lamps and ceiling lights. Far from the formal chic of a hotel restaurant, you will agree. Additionally, when making the reservation, I was told that the dress code required business attire. Either. Everyone was well dressed, but following a more liberal and relaxed interpretation of the concept. However, the experience is filled with delicate touches that leave no doubt about the refinement of the place.Apart from the surprise born from my imaginative spirit, the total absence of a map gave us another one. We take the utmost care to ask ourselves if we suffer from any allergies or intolerances to ensure that the one and only 7-course menu

We were served all evening by a young ebony man, sorry I didn't remember his name. He was really very friendly. The meal was good I had the duck conflict with a bottle of wine and for dessert I received a crème brûlée, I was expecting a slice of cake but theCrème brûlée was excellent... however the chocolate mousse was too sweet for my friends.THANKS.

Deer Garden: what do users think?

Pascal Herman: Excellent restaurant, very affordable...Ginger chicken out of this world!Best Singapore noodles.Been coming here for 25 years... never disappointed. 10-15$ plates

Sally: Amazing restaurant - delicious food, great service, honestly nothing to complain about. I recommend the fried banana if you like sweet things, surprisingly delicious ! It's BYOB and cash onlyThe reason I took off one star for service is just because it gets very packed in there so there is sometimes a wait to put in your order - I would also recommend you make a reservation or call ahead to see when they'll have place for you.Parking: There is a parking lot nearby and paid street parking on St-Laurent. Sometimes difficult to find parking.Kid-friendliness: It is sometimes loud and may stress out some kids. It is not geared towards children.Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of steps to get in and narrow doorways. It would be difficult to move around the restaurant in a wheelchair because it is often very crowded.

Creme brûlée for dessert was also amazing.Cocktails were great, mirage was delicious - only critique would be that they could offer more wines by the glass. But the ones offered were enough to pair with the meal.

Garde Manger: what do users think?

Emily Zimmerman: My husband, good friend and I had such a good time at garde manger while we were visiting from California. Montreal is famous for it's food and garde mangers reputation precedes it, but it was even better than we expected. The vibe of this place felt like it was bringing fine dining to a millenial crowd with the music and ambiance. And unlike many other fine dining establishments where the clientele skews much older, this place was packed with people between 25 and 40. The dress code ranged from smart casual to jeans. Our favorite part of the meal was how bilingual it is. My husband and friend are native French but fluent in English, so we tried using English for me. However, the meal used uncommon ingredients that they didn't know in English so our server was giving us a full rundown in English and French without missing a beat. She checked on us constantly and seemed to always have time for us despite having several other tables. It was pricy, but for a special experience or occasion you won't be disappointedVegetarian options: They'll customize the meal for vegetariansDietary restrictions: They'll customize the meal for dietary restrictions

Dawn Mist: Carpaccio de Boeuf X 3 all day. Phenomenal. More Chuck for the Buck. tattooed arms and hipster barber/lumberjack hair a plenty. bring your chainsaw and pipe.

Hollis Jones: Had such a great dinner last night at Garde Manger! We had the chef's plate.. Every course was spectacular. Expensive, but worth it for the experience.

Arthur Zak: . The atmosphere and service was warm and fun, almost irreverent. It was pricey, but well worth it for a date night splurge.

Restaurant Jérôme Ferrer - Europea: what do users think?

Cyril BECKER: and everything is tasty the flavour of each dish is well balanced. They have a great wine selection to match your menu. The steak sauce flambée is prepared right in front of you and you will feel the heat.

Organic World Club: Top-notch French restaurant in the heart of Montreal! If you’re looking for a special experience, Europea consistently delights with some of the best food and wine in the world. The best ingredients available turned into art for the eyes and taste buds combined with great service is what drives me to come back. Some of the menu highlights included fresh mint tea, onion soup served in an onion, lobster cappuccino, and more paired with phenomenal wines; also, eye watering variety of deserts — my personal choice for best desert was the maple cotton candy. The highlight of the wine pairing was a mistery wine served in black glass. It was of course outstanding in flavor but also unique in appearance.

Vlora Ahmeti: First of all, let me start with saying this is a dining experience. The presentation is very artistic and the flavors are delicate and to be savored. It's not the type of place to go if your interested is a warm, superfilling comfort meal. Atmosphere is beautifully decorated and has nice lighting. Service was excellent, special shout out to Valentino for humoring us. Would definitely recommend for the experience if you're in Montreal for a few days.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Hard pressed to get children to eat these things.

Frederique Chezet: Gastronomic trip to Montreal at the table of Jerome Ferer "Europea"Magical, exceptional, gastronomic staging

P London: Exceptional.

Resto Le Polisson: what do users think?

Wagdi Habashi: We were invited to the 40th anniversary of a neighboring resto but the lineup was ridiculous. We walked away and ended up at Le Poisson where we had a great meal. My wife ordered a taco and I ordered the mussels. We both shared lettuce wedge salad with blue cheese, which was divine. Two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc made the simple meal memorable. Service was impeccable

Jillian Rowan: , crawled around the area for a few more drinks; and ended up back here to try everything on the menu because it was just so good. Happy hour prices are super competitive and definitely worth the stop. Can’t say a bad thing about this place. The calamari and desserts are also great. Can’t wait until I’m in Montreal again and can go back!

Bear Trap: I'm told the menu changed since the last time one of my guests was there. The menu we saw was very eclectic. Also, a little disappointing. The menu was quite limited serving sandwiches, gnocchi in cheese sauce and a few other items. I'd hoped for a few more sophisticated items to choose from. Regardless, the food was good, the waiter very attentive and management was obviously present and making sure their guests were happy. A good harbinger for success.
