Trevor: I bought a Grizzly for my 160 sqft she shed. It works great. I was nervous about cutting a hole in my roof, but fortunately had a friend who was willing to help. It doesn’t leak, all the parts fit together right. I did buy a heat shield and an extra insulated pipe section, and it’s not really cost effective to ship them back, since I’m in the US. The stoves and pipes are aren’t cheap, but a stove isn’t something you want to cheap out on.

Arienne Hanna: Did a lot of research, this one was attractive because it came with all components, stove, shields, flue system. Install was fairly straight forward once I had all the information. I don’t find the website to be very straight forward though. There are pieces of information hidden in product details that don’t appear in the instruction manuals and vice versa. The operating manual is a joke, it doesn’t even say anything about how to operate the baffles. But it’s cute and puts out heat. One thing though that I hadn’t considered was how much of a chore it is to feed something so small. You’re feeding it tiny wood chunks with large surface area to volume ratio, multiple times an hour to keep it going, unlike larger stoves that can burn higher volume pieces for much longer. It would be difficult to have as a primary heat source because you’d be tending it constantly. We might try swapping out the cub for the grizzly and see if the few extra inches help at all with this.

JE Skaley: Super impressed with this little wood stove. I have to confess when we first unpacked it, we both burst out laughing as it was far smaller than we expected. I guess we suck at visualizing size based on measurements, and confirmed it was indeed the Grizzly and not the Cub. So we built up a little platform, bought the floor stand with heat shield and created a bricked area to visually fill up the space and now we couldn’t be happier! This tiny little stove was super easy to install and easily pumps out enough heat to keep us roasting warm in our 35’ 5th wheel here on Vancouver Island. We’ll see how it does once it gets below zero, but even hovering at 1°C, it’s still toasty warm. And there really is no replacement for the dry heat that comes from wood. Hands down the best money we’ve spent on upgrades so far.Great company, fast and friendly customer service and all our orders arrived BEFORE the stated delivery dates.Pro tip, Homefire Prest Logs are AMAZING in this unit. We were worried about having to constantly refill such a small stove, but these babies COOK and last like 5 hours. Much better than any other pressed log for wood stoves that we’ve tried.
Tammy McLaughlin: Purchased the Cub for my teeny tiny 8X8 cabin in the woods. The shipping was super fast from Canada to Maine! The install through my shingled roof was a little frightening but it worked out great! I mounted the Cub with the wall mount so it takes up no space at all! This thing lights easily and burns good! The fire is easy to control with the air intake controls. I LOVE this little stove! Winter is coming so we'll see how it does!

OAO Open Air Options: I did a lot of research before buying the cubic mini, and I'm glad I did. I rebuilt a slide in truck camper, and this was the first item I bought. I basically build all the other components around it. It has worked excellent. I love it, I love the way it has made the camper smell, and there's just nothing like wood heat on a cool night. I will be doing another build as soon as financially possible, much bigger and better. I will either pull the cubic mini from my little camper or buy a new one, probably a grizzly as the space will be bigger. You can't go wrong with these I've had no issues! The installation also included a blower to heat our basement recreation room.When it comes to gas fireplaces, size matters. Foyers Lambert sold us an insert that is perfectly suited to our requirements. The flame is attractive and the heating is much more pleasant than baseboard heaters.Four years later we had a technical question because the pilot light had gone out. Mme. Connie came back to us right away with the solution. Great company, great service and a great product.

Georgette Atalla: I have been a Canadian tire Place Vertu customer for35 years. I am still a customer. I would like to bring to your attention to a cashier called Rita who is working for you at Place Vertu and is most of the time at the cash at the centers entrance facing Adonis. Her Name is Rita she is one of the best workers I have ever seen or had the pleasure of being served by her. She has a constant smile on her face , she helps people all the time even when people do not ask for help. Last week I was trying to activate my new card from Canadian tire. I was on the phone for 3 days waiting for more than 30 mints every time and I could not. When I went shopping on Thursday and told Rita this she quickly got on the phone to customers service and within minuets I was able to activate my card and paid for my shopping with it. Rita is always ready to help. she knows where to find things and if she can not give you an answer she will call the department and find out anything you want or need. She is efficient quick, helpful, always ready to help, has a great personality and is the only one that does her job as a profetional ,aware of everyone who goes in and out of the store. She is excellent at her work and should be promoted as a manager or her wages should be increased. The owner of Canadian tire should be proud to have such a person working for them. saker saker: Hello.. I studied at Carré Saint Laurent. It was the most beautiful days in which we learned the French language. The staff were the most wonderful that can be described. They were very kind and cooperative, and thanks to them we learned the French language. We have a proverb that says, “Whoever teaches me a letter will make me a slave,” and when you hear the teacher’s name, you must stand in reverence and respect for him. Thank you to all the staff. And on top of the manager, Madam Laila, who is a kind and wonderful person
