Gave a free bobbin, changed the needle and oiled the machine too. Very kind person and so passionate. The place is also a museum....all kinds of machine which he collects and fixes. They made the extra effort to package and brace the machine so that it would not be damaged in shipment and configured the machine with a transformer for home use on 110 volt. Though it looks inconspicuous from the outside.Just visiting and walking around the huge space was interesting and educational. I purchased an old Consew walking foot from these guys and in a very long time my expectation have not been exceeded by so far, they serviced the machine so well before leaving the warehouse that it now looks and runs as if it were new. Pretty impressive for a two decade old machine.The father, Son team Ernest and Joseph are extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly and their service staff are that rare breed of machine repair geeks. You name a machine, they can just about tell you the needle timing position down to a fraction.Very pleased to have found this place, would highly recommend for both machines and servicing.

Marie-Luce Meillerand: Incredible service! I went to the store to buy a machine because mine was broken. They advised me not to buy a new/reconditioned one but to have mine repaired which is at least 30 years old. Michel repaired the problem, and changed the exposed plug wire, all for a much lower cost than a new machine. He called me to validate the repairs and super valuable service in addition to the rest, he came to return the sewing machine to me when he had finished the repairs. We chatted about sewing and stories of Montreal seamstresses. Truly a magnificent encounter. Thank you again for this great service. My machine is off to a new life!

Gregory was wonderful! I received a Kenmore sewing machine for free but it needed a tune up. He was efficient. It took him less than 24 hours. He then gave me a 25-minute course on how to get started seeing that I am a complete beginner. He even gave me a little art piece to take home. I would definitely recommend.

Miss Marie: I have only ever ordered online, so cannot comment on in-store shopping. I am very satisfied with my online orders though, and I think their customer service is excellent. I had an issue after receiving my last order, they got back to me quickly and sorted it out within two days. The issue turned out to be an error on my side, and I appreciate their help. I'll definitely order again in the future.And in English, I might add, even though I would have been happy to try to communicate in my rusty high school French. They are located in Quebec after all, I am not sure why anyone would expect them to have service in English.
