Maii Fallara: Benoit is super helpful, and I am excited for my stay here. 💖

Gareth Lowe: Fantastic

Edgar Ortiz: , so budgeting was easy as I knew the total cost upfront and there’s the option to have the unit for just the school year. Thanks Philippe and LP for providing a safe and clean apartment option for the last 20 months, I truly appreciate the friendly attitude and prompt response to any request we had. It made my daughter’s experience much better going into university away from home.

Ialo Andreoli: Very good, I spent pleasant days.

MN M: Well located, quiet and clean

Emmanuel Duplay: place for McGill students - it's more on-campus than any actual McGill residences

The Grey Nuns Residence by Concordia University: what do users think?

Mesut Kaplan: I stayed 4 nights there for concert last August. For a single and didn't spend so much time at room, it was fair enough for me. Staff were helpful as well.Rooms: The facility is old and ground is noisy when someone walks.

Celia Payne: The reception staff have been great.I appreciate 24h security.Amenities are a great bonusWalkability: Everything (shopping, food, schools, sightseeing - are all within a walkable distance of the residence

Nick Hanson: Hostel-style residence in a historic Grey Nuns building that is now a Concordia residence hall. Check in was quick and easy, you cannot beat the rate you pay for how central you are to everything. An easy walk from the Metro station on Guy.My single room was spacious and had a great view. Be sure to open up the windows and take in the city. The room has a mini fridge, sink and a large desk. No AC here which should be obvious when booking. The provided fan was more than enough to keep the room cool, although temperatures outside were mild during my summer stay. The building is gigantic and it may be a bit of a walk in and out depending on where your room is.The bathrooms are communal and numerous- the bathrooms were definitely the most dated part of this place and could badly use a modern renovation to make them more roomy and accessible. Be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo as they are not provided.Parking is *not* provided despite what some websites say. Street parking in front of the building is time limited and pricy. I would recommend not bringing a vehicle if you can avoid it. If you must park, the Concordia FB garage next door is safe and a relative value compared to the rest of the area at $18.50 CAD a night. The property is gigantic and has a beautiful courtyard- I recommend asking a staff member how to get there as it’s a little bit of a maze. While staff were for the most part very friendly and helpful, I did run into one security guard who wasn’t the friendliest and forced me to stand and watch him explain how to close a door that I hadn’t left open. It was a bit of an uncomfortable encounter, especially given the language barrier. Some quick Google searches show that this is a problem that students encounter sometimes as well.Overall the Grey Nuns is a phenomenal value and a comfortable stay as long as you’re expecting more of a hostel and not a luxury property. I will definitely stay here again in future trips to Montréal.

Devin Johnstone: .Rooms: Very simple but pretty comfortable. Firm mattresses. Sink in the room but bathroom down the hall.

Chelsea House: what do users think?

Brooke Walsh: Clean, friendly staff. Good community.

Emma Tangarife Buitrago: Amazing place! Super recommended

M. Jacobsen: I stayed at Chelsea House for my exchange in Montreal and had the most amazing time. PJ and his team created a young community at Chelsea that made me feel at home very quickly. I recommend anyone beginning their life in Montreal to consider Chelsea House as an accommodation, it has so much to offer!

Nina Stassart: Great service! Very understanding and efficient!

Val D: Amazing student residence in downtown Montreal.. the events are a lot of fun and you get to meet people from all over the world.

Warwick Pitman: Chelsea House is the perfect environment to move into if you are moving to Montreal from a different country. The residence enables one to easily make friends through organizing social events where one can meet other Chelsea House members, who range in both age and nationality. In my own time I have also made good use of the lounge, where you can play pool with your friends or indulge in a game of Jenga. The apartments themselves are very stylish with all the cooking equipment one requires - you really don't need to buy anything before or after you move in as what is provided by Chelsea House is more than sufficient. I have also been using the gym which has a suitable selection of free weights and a peloton bike/treadmill to help you stay fit. Overall, my first month at Chelsea House has really helped me settle into Montreal and would strongly recommend it to anyone who is beginning a new adventure abroad.

n m: Our son was delighted with his stay in Montreal and it’s also thanks to Chelsea houseInfrastructure, other tenants, weekly cleaning, location next to the metroIn short, everything as advertised!Thank you🤩

Cheryl Murray: . After speaking to them, Chelsea House seemed too good to be true. The perfect arrangement for a student that wants the university experience, yet more autonomy, the ability to cook in their unit, a secure building in a great location walkable to the Metro , to school, and many amenities. I still wondered if there was a catch, or something I didn't see. What I learned:You get everything you expect, and moreYou get quality living arrangement in a great location, in a secure building. It was better than my expectations in everyway. The building is 10 min from Concordia, 5 min to the MetroThe building is secured with camera, key fob entry and entry by phone. It was bright, clean and well maintained. The students were watching the world cup in the party room having a grand ole time, but no noise was heard in the rest of the building. The Chelsea students regularly get together for outings and meet new friends. The Chelsea management took them all to a movie not so long ago, but I was most impressed with help and advice for exam writing, where to study, how to time manage during finals, help with finding medical resources and campus amenities. They have workshops and Newsletters to help your student make the most of their studies and of Montreal. Someone is putting a lot of effort to make this a community, not just a living arrangement. The apartment was well laid out, had a lovely big bathroom with a killer shower and another smaller bathroom. The WIFI was good, and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The furniture was new and clean, sized well for the rooms.

Anuj Gotra: Great place and great team!

Douglas Hall: what do users think?

Donovan Burt: Best res at McGill, no if's and's or buts

Sherri Federico: Loved living in Douglas Hall many years back! Loved the charm of the old architecture and sense of history living there. Social halls felt a bit elegant as a student. Outside Setting lovely in fall and winter. I remember the McGill rugby fraternity members streaking through the courtyard one winter night! Ok now you know I am old!!! 😅

Desmond Yu: Victorian Student dormitory of McGill University situated in front of Mont Royal Park at the slope of the mountain, overlooking the skyline of Montreal in the south side. In fact, this is the kind of dormitory as seen in the Harry Potter movie. The major difference is this one is surrounded by sport facility of all kind, making student life in McGill fun , enjoyable and luxurious.

Sophie G: a beautiful residence with delicious food at the cafeteria, as well as big class rooms and common rooms. The student rooms could be a bit bigger though.

Matteo Gueli: love it! my hag lives here

Levi Cole: The Hogwarts residence of McGillHardwood floors, twin XL beds, beautiful courtyard! In high demand by McGill scholarship recipients

Shreya Dandamudi: time of my life!

Le Wagon Montréal Coding Bootcamp: what do users think?

Laura Gonzalez Zuluaga: I'm a graphic designer who decided to become a developer a while ago. I already had experience in the field and I knew a bit of coding thanks to some online courses, but I felt that I was lacking a lot of structure and knowledge to get better at my job. Then I found Le Wagon and I attended a lot of their free workshops and events, just to see if they were what I was looking for, and I immediately loved the content and energy they all had. This was one of the best experiences of my life: I had the opportunity to meet great people, got to learn a lot from the TAs and other students, and I really felt that the effort and time I put on this was absolutely rewarding. I also had a great time working on our final project and felt super proud of creating a full and functional app from scratch. Thanks to Le Wagon's bootcamp I finally feel confident to work with my peers and do tasks that I never thought I would. As a side note, you don't need to have any previous experience! A lot of my classmates were working in completely different areas and we all managed pretty well. I took the part-time bootcamp since I have a full-time job, and I feel that it was perfect for me because I had the time to digest the content and put more work on the final weeks. I have already recommended it to a lot of people and I will definitely keep on doing it.

Matheus Spósito: Best bootcamp in the world!

Ricky Tran: After graduating university, I needed to learn something new and I stumbled upon Le Wagon. I was very surprised by how much we learned in the 24-week part-time program. It's definitely a commitment but the whole team and class has a great vibe and energy to support you and help you thrive.

Suraj Gopal: I have many fond and important memories from Le Wagon’s full-stack web development bootcamp: substantive lectures every morning, banter and bonding with classmates, the thrill of serving my first application on the web, and the dizzying whirlwind of project week, as my team and I pushed through an avalanche of obstacles to make our idea come to life. But, the standout memory is of 1-on-1 huddles with TAs and Stephane. All the teachers had great insight into all aspects of debugging; they helped me write comments in my code, reflect on my goal, recall syntax, read documentation, and reformat my work for maximum transparency. As I’ve continued developing on my own, these are the routines I continually return to that always help me improve my work and see myself as a professional developer. This is why anyone who wants to break into software development should attend LeWagon: you build lasting friendships and encounter real challenges, and come out of the experience with everything you need to continue growing as an engineer.

Jessica Iacovozzi: Before starting Le Wagon’s Web Development bootcamp, all I had was a high school diploma and experience in customer service. I decided it was time for a change and made the best decision in my life. The teaching style concentrates on practical exercises and the support from teachers is incredible. No need to spend 3 to 5 years in college/university. This 10-week bootcamp will prepare you with everything you need to start a career in tech.

Estuardo Joël Higueros Reyes: of fellow students made it manageable. It was a great experience to be able to learn from and work with people from different backgrounds and with different experiences. Overall, I highly recommend Le Wagon coding bootcamp.

Arstan Zholochu: After I decided to shift my career into the tech industry, I needed someplace to start where I could learn tech skills. After extensive research of university and bootcamp programs, I decided to go with Le Wagon Montreal Coding Bootcamp. What was attractive to me is that the bootcamp was planned to be on-site, face-to-face with teachers. Since I did not have any coding background, being physically present inside the classroom and having everyday interactions with teachers, and classmates were very important to me. Even though everyday coding challenges were tough, and reading and lectures were hard to grasp, I was able to learn the fundamentals of computer programming. Moreover, by the end of the bootcamp I started feeling comfortable in addressing coding challenges, finding answers to technical questions, and thinking like a programmer. There are still lots of things to learn, but thanks to Le Wagon I now have all the basic knowledge to continue my journey in the tech industry.

Winnie Zhao: and came out of it feeling as though I had the tools and knowledge to get a junior developer role. The curriculum was fast-paced but there was always support available with the TAs and teachers. The most valuable thing that I learned was how to learn

hugo mariou: has passed since the end of my training at the Le Wagon, and what can I say ... I miss it! I spent two great months in a welcoming and human environment, with people who brought me a lot. The teachers were there to give us all the necessary material to understand the web development field. The work methodology in pair programming or team project mode allowed us to develop our understanding at another level. We were helping each other, learning together. Don't get me wrong, it's a hard adventure: two months of hard work are waiting for you but for me, learning to code at Le Wagon bootcamp is the best decision I ever made in my life.I met great people, learned with good vibes, experienced the stress of turning in a group project with a deadline, felt the satisfaction of creating something with my hands.Thank you Le Wagon."

Jonathan Jenin: Le Wagon Web Development course was an awesome experience, both from a technical and interpersonal standpoint.I came from a management background, including product development and operations leadership.Following the bootcamp, I am finally able to quickly connect my past experience with my new technical capabilities, prototyping by myself and greatly increasing the impact I can have on a team. The buddy system and learning platforms are huge facilitators and motivation boosters. It is 100% a career booster, whether someone is looking for a new field to explore, or a stepping-stone in their current area, and the network you will make along the way is life-changing!

raphael cohen: 'Montreal’s Le Wagon bootcamp is an amazing experience. Everyone is welcoming, it feels like we're one big family. The team is amazing, teachers and ta’s are helpful and patient in explaining programming concepts. Seeing yourself progress throughout the bootcamp is rewarding, and the final project weeks are intense but I learned so much. At the end you have a final web application to share with the world or add to your portfolio that you built with your team. These concrete skills are essential to finding a job in the tech industry. Thank you Le Wagon.'

Benoit Leboucher: As soon as I decided to make the change, I looked for a way to make it a reality. After some research, I chose to join a bootcamp instead of doing a traditional degree. Le wagon had very good reviews and a friend of friend of mine hired someone who graduated from le wagon and was very happy with his work.I decided to join and it was an amazing experience. It was very challenging, both personally and technically but also very rewarding. I learned a lot of technical skills and programming languages, and I am still doing challenges almost 9 month after I did the bootcamp with the resources Le Wagon gave me. Finally, I learnt how to work in a team and to be efficient together.During the last 2 weeks, the “projects weeks”, we were ready to start working like real devs, from an original idea, to develop it, code it and present it. I presented it to the community and learned how to speak in public, which was not my strong suit. I’ve learnt so much from my experience at Le Wagon and am happy to continue giving back to the community.

Thomas Gellier: !

Nicholas Szczerbickyj: I joined the Data Science bootcamp to improve my knowledge in Python and learn about Machine Learning for the first time. The practical approach to learning helped me understand complex topics quickly and also apply those in the real world. Whether it was natural language processing or creating an algorithm to categorize values, after each topic, I had a firm grasp of the concepts and was able to use them with confidence. This has helped me significantly in my role as a product manager since I can both design and build data science solutions for different challenges. I would 100% recommend this bootcamp to others!

Mark: Before Le Wagon, during my time as a business student, I was curious to learn how businesses use technology to their advantage. It soon grew on me that the use of technology is a vital part of a successful business. I had decided to learn to code on my own but I soon realized I needed something more structured. That’s when I found Le Wagon, a place to learn all of the coding basics, how to solve challenges alongside others and more importantly how to think like a developer. At Le Wagon, the program is extremely well-structured to maximize learning. This is done by watching lectures before class and doing challenges which reinforce what was taught in those lectures during class. If ever we got stuck trying to solve a problem there was always a teacher to help.My primary goal at Le Wagon was to learn the fundamentals of coding as a web developer. In the end I’m glad to say my goal was achieved and furthermore I have met new friends who motivate me to excel in this career path. Ultimately, I recommend Le Wagon for anyone looking to get familiar with coding.

Kim Coquilla: I was a Shipping Coordinator for a big toy company for almost 12 years until they moved their manufacturing to Mexico. Because of this, I realized I had to change my career and saw the opportunity to start with Le Wagon Coding Bootcamp. At first, I was really nervous about if I could really do it, but after a couple of days it becomes exciting and challenging. You just have to really trust the process of their program. Teachers and staff are really nice, friendly and approachable. They also have a very well organized strategy for your learning, precise schedule, very useful resources that you will have access to even after you graduate. They also organize some educational events & bonding time like Happy Hour every Friday :beers:. To sum it up, I had a great experience with Le Wagon that I will treasure forever.

Denzel Braithwaite: I'm Denzel Braithwaite and I was part of the Montreal part time batch #790. When I graduated high school, I spent 6 years as a janitor. I started to wonder if this is what I'd be doing for the rest of my life. I decided to take a computing support course which helped me land a job in I.T. but I felt as if it was only a nudge in the right direction, but I could still go even further. I knew I still wanted to work with computers, this is my passion, but I wanted a career that was in demand, flexible and rewarding with the possibility of working remotely. I had already heard about Le Wagon from a few friends and decided to take a chance. As an alumni, I can definitely say that this course was worth every minute and every penny. It's about so much more than simply learning how to code, it's about learning how to change your life and adapt to a constantly evolving industry. It's about collaborating on meaningful and impactful projects and building lifelong connections in a very active community. I learnt how to learn and how to ask for help when I needed it. Le Wagon teaches the skills and discipline required for success, while keeping an important focus on relaxing and getting to know your fellow colleagues. I can try to describe it in many different ways, but the best way is to experience it yourself. Dive in and trust the process, know that you're in good hands from the moment you start until long after you've graduated. Le Wagon is a family, and we're all eager to meet you.

Rajni: One of the best college in Canada for every aspiring students,I took admission in Kensley College on the month of July and from then until I got my visa I got one of the best student service. Let me put my feedback and I hope that this will help other students who are coming from India.First of all one of the best service is that they have their own representative in India and his name is Mr Navpreet Singh and this really helped me as I was assured that the college is genuine and also that my fees and other charges are all genuine and he is one of the most helpful person as whenever I called him regarding my college service he would always guide me and when I got my Visa and was about to board my Flight to Canada I didn't got some of my documents as I paid my fees late but when I told Navpreet that my flight is 2moro and I need the documents , he assured me that before boarding the flight I will receive everything and too my surprise they worked overnight and gave me all my documents needed to board my flight. And when I landed in Montreal, Srikanth sir from Kensley College was there to pick me up and I was provided 2 days hotel free of cost and this service actually helped me alot as for any international student It takes a while to figure out where to stay .So, having free stay helped me .I got the best atmosphere at Kensley College where every staff is available to help you and guide in best possible way.Thank you Kensley College .Special thank you to Navpreet Sir and SriKanth Sir
