CEGEP Vieux Montreal pool: what do users think?

eric gaston: Very dynamic swimmers, free swimming pool, customers are friendly

mehrdad paknejad: Hi,I am a swimmer and swim coach training there. This is one of the best pools to swim in considering the water PH, temperature, and clearity.🔴Just make sure not to leave your valuable posessions in the lockers due to ROBBERY even if you lock it, but bring your backpack with yourself and leave it close to the wall on the pool deck.

gorges mendy: Cool

Unknown: Very good swimming pool with unisex changing rooms. The pool is 50 metres long but usually it is divided in two 25 metres. Synchro team is annoying, they keep banging metal on the ladder.to keep tempo but seriously.

victor traisnel: Lots of people in the evening

Satish Kumar Tumulu: Great pool, well maintained and they have public access for free for specific timings all over the year.

Iryna Ravinska: But there is a dryer for the swimming suits. Also, don't forget to take your lock for the locker.

Gil Gruber: Well-maintained pool with clean locker room. Late night free swimming is convenient. Please consider even extending the time for adult swimming, as it is starting to be crowded in the lanes.

Maz Z: Please adjust the temperature of the showers, they are too hot. There are standard North American codes for all temperatures.

RIDHA BESGHAIER: A beautiful place to swim

Mahendra Kumar: Good place to swim and learn

Maya Bayoun: Best coach ever Serguey and Tatiana. Never seen this much devotional performance in my life

Aquapro - School Swimming: what do users think?

Claudia Milan: My kids take classes in Laval with Aquapro. lessons are fast paced and my kids love it. they advance really quick in the program. we used to take classes with la ville they were terrible slow and kids will not learn much. this is not the case. they are professionals.

Marion Loranger: I recommend this swimming school to everyone, whether for your children or yourself. The teachers are attentive and very professional. The owners take good care of the place, the changing rooms have been renovated and the water is always clean!

Laurence Delisle: I highly recommend!

Alexe Audet: Superb swimming school! The teachers are very competent! The center is clean and the owners are cheerful and attentive to their customers. I recommend this school to everyone!

Roxanne: Two super professional owners and super good with children! They have a lot of experience and are super well organized. I highly recommend Aquapro 👌🏻

Andréanne Jean-Marie: I did a private lesson with Rachel and my 4 month old baby. Very professional, gentle and good with children. The changing rooms are clean and the swimming pool is heated. There is a receptionist if we have any questions. I recommend for parents who want to put their young child in the water without having pressure from other parents. I will definitely return.

Audrey-Ann Guilbault: Best swimming school! The courses are varied and the staff is very professional. My son has been taking his classes for almost 3 years and he loves them!

Mathieu Guindon: Excellent swimming school. Qualified staff who listen to customers. They offer several services including certain aquafitness classes. The private lessons allowed me to improve quickly.

8 “‪AlohaMaryse‬”: I take Aquafitness classes and I love the dynamics of the music and the variety of movements and now they have added some other very interesting classes. Very professional

Norm Couture: I am a new client and I am registered on Aquaform PilatesI am very satisfied with my experience. The exercises are varied and well taught. Very good program!!!!

Nathalie Deslauriers: to do the exercises effectively without hitting the bottom...no longer the impression of doing the "cork stopper" for my leaves 😅The day and time suit me well on Wednesdays, midweek, because weekends are spent more at the chalet.Thank you 😊😃

Ginette Gervais: I really enjoy the Aquaforme Pilates experience. I feel a benefit to my muscles and even my brain.

K D: Great school! Brilliant and professional supervision! We are very well taken care of. The swimming pool is heated. Top ! Go there without hesitation!

Montreal West Swimming Pool: what do users think?

오승환: As a summer camp activity, I changed clothes and played with my friends in the locker room of the skating rink next door once a day. There was also a diving pool next to it.There was a pool just for children, but there were a lot of bugs in the water in the summer, so I had to avoid it at times, so it was a bit hectic.

Nicky Nedescu: Best neighborhood pool! Best swim team staff!

Wayne Radford (UncommonAdvisor): Busy community pool.Going to be rebuilt 2023/2024

Djuanrivera: Nice place

Cyril Camenkov: always Clean and organized

Guillaume Nyssens: No words can describe how happy I was when I found out that the access is free for the "bain libre" time slot. Been more than 15 years I was able to find a good swimming pool. The place is clean and totally family friendly. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Piscine Lévesque: what do users think?

Laura Maciel: Swimming classes for kids are great, however the place is small and not very well organized. Only 3 showers, that are at the entry of the pool, blocking the way for people going in/out. Changing rooms get very busy and hot. Very limited space to wait while your child is in class.

Lynda Tria: Very good, competent team and very patient with the little ones, especially with the TSA, really nice. Very clean hygienic side...good luck...

EI Sylvain CARDOT: Three lanes, three speeds and only adult sessions at quite varied times. Other times for families which is very pleasant. The water temperature is ideal for practicing without being either hot or cold. Showers, changing rooms and other facilities are adapted. The staff responds to every request and with great kindness. It can be crowded at certain times, but the experience remains pleasant.

Anne Denicourt-Fauvel: Small, well-configured and pleasant swimming pool establishment!Pleasant room temperature; pool temperature neither too cold nor too hot; clean unisex locker room with sufficient space, benches, lockers; everything is safe and the atmosphere is comfortable. When swimming in lanes, the 3 lanes of the pool are a little narrow but it does the job. Sometimes people stay at the ends, take up a lot of space in the absence of a little corner and chat! It's a bit annoying...maybe the rescuers could warn them. The clientele is varied. Very nice classes for babies. The instructor Clovis is nice.Small problem: the 4 showers for rinsing have been oddly placed in an L shape and, in the end, it gives more than 3 shower spaces.

Corinne Charbonneau: Open baths are very convenient, but sometimes very busy. I especially recommend prenatal aquafitness classes. Our teacher, Emma, was super dynamic!

Heather Collins: Had great experiences both with swimming lessons for our kids and free swim times.

Mario Andrés Velásquez Zabaleta: Really good place!

Joel Cruz: The areas are clean and well organized, it’s a very good place to swim and do some exercise, lifesavers always looking after the pool and the users. Usually very crowded, but definitely my favourite pool in the city

Ole Thienhaus: A wonderful pool, quite busy but patrons are very good at sharing lanes by swimming in circles, especially when lanes are designated “rapide,” “Noten” and “lent.” As in the past, I’d still recommend investing in a swimsuit tumble dry machine……

Florent Denat: Very cool free slots for swimming but there are people

Simon P.: Beautiful swimming pool, quick access to the pool. Lacks a little flexibility in terms of schedules.

Betsy (NightFrost): Nice swimming pool!

Ehtisham ul haq: It's a very good place for families. Very good staff.

Pierre Nault: Temporary closure!

Catalin Padureanu: Family place to start learning swimming

jamila Tounsia: I visited all the swimming pools in Montreal and Laval, personally I found it to my liking, the water is not cold, swimming hours for people over 50 years old plus it has a ramp for people with reduced mobility which means that anyone can find fun swimming in this beautiful swimming pool located in Villeray. Not to mention the polite and courteous lifeguards and staff.

Sadjia Hammad: A clean place, large, several pools, there is even a heated pool for the little ones...and for the older ones they will have the right to the sauna which is reserved for women and another for men...they have a large platform to watch our children swim...but the only drawback is too much heat

Ib HA: Well organized

seyran Aydogdu: Beautiful

Lia D: Good place lots of swimming classes available for all ages and needsBeen going since the 90s

Could: The Olympic Stadium in Montreal stands as a towering testament to the city's Olympic history and architectural ambition. Constructed to host the 1976 Summer Olympics, it remains an iconic symbol of Montreal's global prominence. Designed by French architect Roger Taillibert, its distinctive inclined tower and retractable roof captivate visitors, offering a glimpse into the innovative spirit of its time.Beyond its Olympic legacy, the stadium continues to serve as a versatile venue for various sports and events. From soccer matches to concerts, it provides a dynamic space for communal gatherings and cultural celebrations. Its sprawling grounds offer ample room for large-scale exhibitions and conventions, attracting visitors from across Canada and beyond. However, despite its illustrious past and multifunctional capabilities, the Olympic Stadium grapples with the challenges of maintenance and sustainability. The sheer scale of its design, while awe-inspiring, presents logistical hurdles in terms of upkeep and renovation. Issues with the retractable roof, in particular, have posed ongoing concerns, leading to debates over the feasibility of long-term solutions.Furthermore, the stadium's role as a permanent sports venue has been a subject of contention. With no primary tenant since the departure of the Montreal Expos baseball team in 2004, it struggles to maintain regular programming and revenue streams. This lack of consistent occupancy has led to financial burdens and calls for alternative utilization strategies.Despite these challenges, the Olympic Stadium remains a beloved landmark, cherished for its architectural significance and cultural significance. Its presence on the Montreal skyline serves as a reminder of the city's vibrant past and enduring resilience. As discussions surrounding its future continue, there is hope that innovative solutions will ensure its continued relevance and vitality for generations to come.
