Manon Latendresse: Dr. Cynthia Mardinger was extremely meticulous and gentle in performing a IUD insertion. I was very stressed and worried about the pain, as it is an invasive procedure, but she put me immediately at ease. Her method is very delicate and effortless. I was happy surprised at how painless and efficient the entire process was. Highly recommend Dr Cynthia Mardinger for any medical needs.

Rhea Dellis: After being wronged by doctor after doctor I have never found a doctor so caring, compassionate and understanding as Dr. Cynthia Mardinger. As a woman, I feel like many times our medical problems are overlooked and underestimated, leaving us to feel misunderstood by the medical field and frankly left alone to fight against the system. Dr. Mardinger could not be further than that. From our first appointment, she listened to me, cared about the symptoms I was feeling and immediately sent me to do a plethora of tests to rule out every possible cause. She has become my go-to healthcare provider and I’m so happy and relieved to find someone I can trust. julia izhevska: At work, my knee hurt after an injury. I had to go to the Santé Mont-Royal Hospital. I was worried that my limited knowledge of languages would be a big problem. But, thanks to the employee who was on shift at 22.30 on May 7, everything went surprisingly easily and quickly. Many thanks to her! Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but thank you very much! She even made an appointment to the hospital to see a doctor the next day, so as not to wait 10 hours for a doctor’s appointment here. Thank you very much that there are such people!
Estelle B: *The emergency room experience is unique to each person since each case is different.*I personally had an excellent experience in my misfortune. 4 hours of waiting in the emergency room is not long. Knowing that before going to the Jewish, I went to the Jean Talon hospital and I was warned of a 9-hour wait. All the nurses who took care of me were incredibly caring and attentive. Everyone was nice to me and kind. Thanks to the doctor on duty for taking my case seriously and demanding all possible tests. I had a lot of tests including a CT scan, all quickly. I am now out of the woods. Thank you so much

The nurse told me that it wasn’t worth for me to wait here all night as my urgency wasn’t as urgent as others but still needed a check up quick. She gave me an appointment to a clinicNear my house the next day. I waited 30min for the lady at enregistrement to call me but didn’t so I just went up to her and asked kindly and she did my appointments on the spot. I know sometimes it can be long but surprisingly I was served pretty fast and kindly. Glory to God.

After 5 hrs my son was taken for Blood test where it was positive for low sodium. I left at 3 am he called at 9 am going into surgery. He has colon cancer, I am so grateful to the amazingly unbelievable emerg team who cared for him. So grateful for Dr.Trapanier for performing an incredible surgery & removing as much as tge cancer that she could. His care up to date has been excellent.

Janet Ramsay: I am writing this on behalf of a friend, DD, an 80 yr old gentleman who received care at the hospital on March 14th 2024. He had fallen and incurred a head injury requiring a CT scan, referred by the Royal Victoria hospital. He was asked which MD would follow up and said he did not know. He was told “someone would contact him”. Concerned about this, he went to the Emergency dept and took number 34 and was soon seen by the nurse at the desk. He explained his situation to her and she said “this is not right, I’m going to find the answer for you”. She took his B/P, temp, O2sats and then gave him a referral sheet with an appt for a specialist. He was beyond grateful for this nurse who went over and above to help him with kindness and compassion. Her name was Nurse Colombo, and the Montreal General is very fortunate to have such a caring, efficient and kind employee. DD wants to thank her!

Bob Aubery: This hospital is everything that is right about the Quebec health care system. Sure the hospital needs refurbishing but the staff are caring and compassionate and the doctors and nurses very competent and efficient. Yes, waiting times are long, but, hey, go check out other provinces and see if it is any better. We had an appointment at the Jewish prior to Sacré Coeur and we waited much longer at the Jewish. But again, wait times that were justified.

Scorchy: I was briefly hospitalized there a few years back when I was 17 and it was an amazing hospital, everything was new and fancy, the staff was nice and understanding. The room I was put in was so big and not shared with anyone else. Probably the best hospital I've seen in Quebec. The only issue was the mediocre hospital food, otherwise it's a very nice environnement to help someone feel at ease and heal properly.

Farid Kerba: I visited my cousin who had a serious case issue in her back, the food offered for patients needs to be tailored to the needs of every patient, and it was not freshly made… a call to nutritionists and health organization to take care of this issue please.

Luciano A: Following a transfer from St Mary's Hospital. I was hospitalized at the Montreal Neurological Institute following a grade 3 aneurysm for a few weeks. They saved my life after I fell into a coma. I must say that I was surprised to see all the staff were friendly, and very attentive to my needs and willing to answer all my questions.I would like to thank all the staff on the 4th floor of Intensive Care for your wonderful work.You are angels of God.Thank you for giving me a second life without too many after-effects.

Hayla L.: I admit that when I read some of the reviews here, I wondered if we had really attended the same establishment. Certainly, the organization is not always at the top, but since I have used the health services here in Quebec, I have noticed that this point is not a strong point everywhere, so I expected it. On the other hand, I congratulate the team of nurses and workers who supported me during my treatment. I found empathy in our discussions, kindness during the consultations. I felt surrounded by a passionate team who always welcomed me. I had the same treatment in France, and therefore I have references which allow me to say that I am very satisfied with the care I was given. I haven't seen Dr. REINBLATT much, but I think that's normal. The important thing is that the team communicates with each other and that we transmit the right information. I think I was well taken care of by her and I am grateful to her. I thank the entire medical team at this clinic, you have made this journey less difficult! Be blessed!

FAB007 B: I have to tell you that I am quite picky about customer service. As soon as I arrived, the welcome from the receptionist was very friendly and professional.The waiting room is only for patients and unfortunately many patients do not follow the instructions despite the posters.I was subsequently welcomed by Mr. Jean Daniel who immediately put me at ease. Smile and listen. Nurse Marie-Julie was remarkably helpful. She was present with me and aware of my pain. His help was greatly appreciated.Dr. Stephanie Marcil was exceptional and professional. She took the time to learn about my situation and put me at ease. She answered my questions throughout the procedure. She took her time and did a very good job. Take the time to answer questions.Thank you to this great team.

Ryder B.: Clean and modern facilities. Very professional setting. Dr. Scheim and the team of nurses are caring, compassionate and attentive to the patient’s needs and concerns. Dr. Scheim clearly and calmly responds to questions and engages with the patient on a human level. I never feel rushed with her. I always feel at ease at this clinic, and this is coming from someone who hates going to the doctor. Her logical and thorough approach are much appreciated. Appointment times are generally respected. Staff is fully bilingual. It is expensive for consultation, especially if you don’t have insurance, but this is a private clinic after all.. Test results are available within 24-72 hours usually. My only gripe is that it is difficult to get a hold of someone when calling. They make you wait awhile on the phone. Also, the receptionists can be rude at times; it depends who you land on.
