My target: their savory pancakes. The service was very good, fast, the waiters friendly and the restaurant quiet.You can see in the photo there is plenty to eat! DanielleACM: Went early on a weekend since they don’t do reservations on weekends and happy to report the wait was worth it but also wasn’t very long, they’ve got a decent amount of seating and fast service, so things go quickly but when inside I never felt rushed the perfect combo. Food was excellent very filling and wonderfully strong flavours well balanced and just like at its sister location Janine I love the little juice shot you get at the beginning. The decor is eclectic but fun and definitely gives the whole experience a great vibe will definitely be coming back!

The waitress asked me many times if our missing companion was going to be long. It took her a long time to understand that those of us who were there were going to start eating without waiting for whoever was missing.

The Booku: Fantastic food and coffee served here. Both the chicken and salmon avotoast were delicious, and came in big portions so you get your money's worth. The desserts were also tasty.The cafe itself is located in arguably one of the nicest buildings I have ever visited for a cafe. The decor and ambience are top notch! It may be difficult to find seating if you get there after 9AM as the cafe fills up quickly.

I dont have french toast often, but the challah french toast is easily the best I've had. I should say I was expecting a little extra on the presentation because all the french toasts I've had come with toppings and whatnot. This one is presented on a warmed plate, naked, and bare with a small side of syrup. Fruit and bacon is optional and really not necessary at all. A superior display of simplicity at its finest. The challah.is.so.good. the maple syrup is the cherry on top.Clean restaurant and friendly service. No wait on a Thursday afternoon in May.

I had the Rosa crepes, with whip cream and strawberries. Mom used to make crepes like no other, and these were comparable. That is a high bar that Cocktail Hawaiian meets. The size is actually big and worth the price more than when it’s delivery. The thing I didn’t really like and understood is the tipping. I don’t know why I paid 15% while everything was self service. I ordered than went to the table than went to get the food than returned the tray after finish and left. Fatima Reg: Excellent buckwheat pancakes. I opted for the salmon one then the butter and sugar one for dessert. They were hearty and digestible. The staff is friendly. Only downside: the noise of the dishes if your table is located near the kitchen.A good address in a quiet area, a little out of the way.

Had the duck confit and caramelized onion crepe which was divine, and also the cheesy bacon and tomato rockets crepe, very breakfast-y.Dietary restrictions: So happy to have found naturally gluten free crepes here as the savory crepes are made with buckwheat. I’m sure I could have asked for sweet crepes made with the delicious buckwheat batter too.Parking: Spots are on the street and meter paid. There were a few spots free when we came but a couple the machine marked “invalid”. It was tricky but we finally parked at a legal paid spot.

Tennessee Fats: After watching a YouTube review of this place I made it a “Must Go” stop on this trip. The place did NOT disappoint.It’s a smaller place and the tables are packed in there but that really helps set the atmosphere. It’s loud. For anyone that’s noise-a-phobic this one may trigger you but I found it great and could clearly hear the person I was with.The service was fast and they have no problem with English for the travellers in town that struggle with ordering in French.The food was great and you can watch it being prepared at the open counter.A very eclectic place to eat at and a must go for anyone serious about breakfast and brunch.

Otto Tai: It's not an Internet celebrity restaurant, but I still had to wait in line for 30 minutes. The food was delicious and the service was good. When I was serving the food, I adjusted the position of the plate and accidentally dropped the fork, but the waiter caught it with good skill and replaced it with a new fork.
