Yogaspace Studio: what do users think?

Oriana Ortega: were responsible that I had an unforgettably beautiful childbirth experience, so if you are pregnant you won't regret to take them.

Isabelle Guichard: Clearlight is such a wonderful woman. My life has changed since I decided to join her classes. Not only this practice brings me a supreme joy and well-being, but it also fulfills my need for a deeper spiritual connection, as well as a whole mental universe into which I'me eager to dive each and every time. Thank you so much Clearlight for existing

Lisa Linardatos: I *really* enjoyed both Clearlight's prenatal class and momma baby yoga. The classes are not only informative, but Clearlight creates such a warm, welcoming space. Even though I had my babe with me in the yoga class, it felt like a break, and it was great connecting with other moms. A real mood-booster.

Rebecca Vanderelst: Mom and baby course is great! Lovely instructor and a great opportunity to socialize with other new moms. Learned some great post delivery exercises to do for my recovery and some massage techniques that my baby loves. Highly recommend.

Jade Heilmann: Cleatlight's prenatal yoga class was my favorite after trying a few different ones aroud town. She really prepared me for birth, which went very well and with no tearing!! My husband and I also did her couples workshop which was ever so enlightening. i am now about to start mom and baby yoga. HIGHLY recommended.

Miu Kuen Lee: I joined the prenatal yoga class and it was a great class for me to prepare my mind to be a mom.And now I am having a mammy baby class, my girl loves it when we do the peaceful singing. I enjoy the time in the class and hope my baby girl will develop this mindful habit when she is older...

Jennifer P.: I have been a long-time student of Clearlight’s and have participated in her mindful, pregnancy and mom-and-baby classes. She is an exceptional teacher and it is clear that she truly embodies and lives her own yoga practice. I highly recommend!

Sarah D: . You really don't ''go hard'', but being someone who is typically active, I was surprised at how little movement it takes when you're pregnant to feel like you're challenging your body! What I appreciated most about the course was the positive mindset it helps to create, as well as integrating certain breathing techniques which I feel will both be useful in labor. It was also really nice to be in the presence of other mother's during the unique experience of pregnancy.Clearlight is informative, kind, genuine and offers a good balance of sound advice, as well as positive energy. She really does offer a space that feels open to anyone.I would highly recommend her as a teacher, and taking her prenatal course.

Zsofia Daniel: Clearlight is a wonderful person and teacher. She creates a really welcoming environment and her classes are very well structured. The prenatal partner class was perfect to learn more about labour and prepare for it, and the mama-baby yoga is amazing to learn to live with a whole new baby. It's the best place to be when you are still just figuring things out with the tiny human.

Fanny Courtemanche: Great class

arielle ruah day-roher: Such an incredible experience. I did both pregnancy yoga and mama & baby yoga and both were such important parts of my journey towards becoming a mother. Clearlight is such an amazing teacher and the support you feel being part of a group of women who are all going through different stages of the same experience is really special. I definitely recommend.

Marie-Eve Couture: Pregnancy yoga and the couple's workshop with Clearlight gave me the confidence and the tools I needed to go through childbirth. It's been such a rewarding journey, and bonding with other moms was a nice bonus. Thank you Clearlight!

Mary-Rose Gill: Clearlight’s yoga is definitely for both body and mind. I have done both pregnancy and mom-and-baby yoga with her, and they have both been so amazingly helpful. Pregnancy yoga gave me a space to find some weekly moments of calm for myself, tools for labour, and trained muscles I did not know I had. Mom and baby yoga has been amazing for the community, understanding and strengthening my changed body, and for meeting the emotional and mental challenges and wonderfulness of motherhood.

Dana Breger: Clearlight's mom and baby yoga helped me so much at the beginning of motherhood. Her exercises are safe post partum, and they provide both emotional and physical support at such an intense time! It really gave me something to look forward to every week, and I was able to make many new friends to spend time with on maternity leave! Highly recommended

ines: I followed Clearlight's prenatal classes during both of my pregnancies and enjoyed very much the gentle movements and breathing exercises. Those breathing exercises have been particularly helpful during labour. I also enjoyed mom&baby yoga with Clearlight and then good hooked up with the mindfulness yoga classes. Such an important practice for body and mind and I can't imagine my week without this practice. Clearlight is a gifted teacher that I highly recommend!

Juliet Johnson: Clearlight is simply an amazing, inspiring yoga instructor. I first met Clearlight when I took her pregnancy yoga classes over a decade ago, on the enthusiastic recommendation of friends. The mental and physical approaches to pregnancy and labour that she taught us were invaluable in my own very lengthy delivery. I've kept going to her classes ever since, initially to mom and baby yoga and now, for the past several years, to her evening mindful yoga courses. Clearlight has a calm, friendly, professional, and reassuring presence that has earned her a devoted following in Montreal.

Michele Saumier: I was put on bed rest during my pregnancy but was allowed to do prenatal yoga and swimming. After the birth, I did yoga with the baby. It helped with my core strength. Seventeen years later I am still practicing yoga at yogaspace. I feel so much better after my practice!

HappyTree Yoga: what do users think?

Marie Bois: Melanie Richards is extraordinary, taking a class or a yoga session with her is an experience to live! You have to know it.

Kimberly Esguerra: I took Melanie’s Yin Yoga teacher training. I was very happy to take her class. Her energy is very welcoming. ✨She is very clear and thorough with her explanations. She takes her time for you to understand as well. And it makes it that much fun when you can feel the passion she has for what she teaches.I would recommend any of her classes for anyone looking to take a class or a training!

Sally Besser: Yin yoga teacher training 40hr with Melanie Richards was an inspiration to get back into my yoga practice. We learned about the importance of Yin for a healthy balanced lifestyle. This class was about discovering safe and mindful poses that enrich practise and how to serve your students needs. I loved every minute learning and being ❤️🙏

Nicoleta Stoodley: This Yin Yoga Teacher Training was amazing! Melanie's calm soothing voice, her extensive knowledge and her sharing of personal stories, makes this training exceptional. Marie-Claud adds enthousiasm, dynamism and heartfelt fun to the experience making it a worth while training. Thank you both for your great work!

Miguel Chen: Big fan of Melanie and her work. Check it out!

Shanny Mireles: I loved my Yin Yoga training with Mélanie and her team. It was a simply magical and educational experience. Thank you so much.

Kathleen Farrell: I had the chance to do the Yin TT training with Melanie Richards in spring 2023! What a great experience! Melanie is generous, authentic and her knowledge of the world of yoga is impressive. It just makes us want to know more!

Farnaz Mamizadeh: I was introduced to Melanie through a yoga event. It was magic. Her energy, her kind way of sharing her message, and kindness were exactly what I needed to hear. I went on to take her gentle yoga and YIN training and I can say I am able to step back in my life and really learn to covey my message and my energy towards myself and others in a completely different light. I now understand i am a work in progress, and there is an abundance of learning to come. Thank you Melanie you are in so many ways inspiring, wise and gentle in a very humbling and understanding way and this way of yours is reflected in the way you teach and I am beyond grateful to have been able to share theses trainings with you. I can't wait for more workshops and training to learn.

Ellen Auer: I loved the holifest organized by grove campus. The overall combination of yoga, storytelling, reiki, and the vendor market was very complementary. I loved the fact that there was also enough time to chat and get to know other yogis.

Michele LeBlanc: Happy Tree events in 2022 exceeded my expectations. Melanie goes above and beyond.

Brandon Dawson Jarvis: Amazing experience, would recommend for anyone wanting to teach, learn or deepen their practice and understanding of yoga

Marie A: I had the amazing opportunity to take part in the Gentle Yoga Teacher Training, and it was all that and more. The training provided me with the support and knowledge to be able to help others, and to discover a side of yoga that is accessible to all. Melanie is an incredible teacher and created a class that was supportive and inclusive. Her positivity is contagious! Thank you Happy Tree!

Grove Campus: Such a privilege and honour to connect with Melanie. Not only is she an amazing yoga teacher but such a beautiful person altogether. She is a supporter of community and understands the importance of representation in the yoga space. We took her gentle yoga training and even after having complete a YTT, we left with so many nuggets of wisdom. We're really looking forward to taking her YIN training that we've have heard nothing but amazing things about.

Jeremy Braziller: Just the best, hands down

Tolga Akkaya: Great place for yoga, classes aren't very crowded and the instructors can guide you if needed. Would recommend!

Emeraude Lapointe: This studio is full of light. The teachers are not only great teachers of yoga but are also extremely uplifting souls. I especially enjoy Melanie the founder of Happy Tree, Bhaskar and Kat.Thank you for such a special place ❤️

EloiseJ: Best yoga studio in town. Warm, welcoming and familiar atmosphere. You feel good and go far away just by walking through the front door. The teachers are absolutely incredible, smiling and sweet. The yoga room is quite small giving the impression of having a private class. The energy that emerges in these classes is remarkable. Each class offers a relaxing and new experience. I highly recommend !

ensō yoga: what do users think?

Francesco Abbruzzo: Great spot , great staff !

Ines: Really nice, clean space and they have some incredible teachers. Shout out to Nuha and Marie Pier. Their practice is out of this World.

Léa-Lou Marchand-Savard: . The teachers are bilingual and explain the yoga sequence well. Classes are beginner/intermediate. There are large mirrors at the front of the room to see our body alignment. They also offer carpet rental.

Virginie Meunier: I have been coming here since 2019. I love the atmosphere, the cleanliness of the place and the locker rooms without a lock.On the other hand, I deplore the fact that the courses are practically only given in English even when the class is predominantly French-speaking. At a minimum, I believe that the studio should remove the bilingual mention from its website and embrace its unilingualism.

anais beshara: Enso yoga Is my go-to whenever I am in town. Barre and Pilates classes are absolute gems. Everyone is always very welcoming. I always leave feeling refreshed and energized. Can’t recommend it enough!

Alexandra Elger: Just wanted to leave a positive review after today's class. The team is ALWAYS so kind and friendly. I didn't feel well after my pilates class and they did absolutely everything so I could feel better. Above and beyond. You can just tell everyone on that team wants you to feel good on the inside as much as the outside, at all times. I love those girls. They make my Mondays and Wednesdays the highlight of my week.

Emma Taillon: This place is oozing with love. Thank you

Cassandra Colosino: I do love the classes here but there is always room for improvement. Reading through all the other reviews I do agree there is a lack of space & it can get very crowded. Smaller classes would be nice. There’s also no private changing rooms, so when the locker room is packed you don’t really feel like changing in front of everyone.

Tarisa D: Ensō yoga is a place where one can center their mind , body and soul while emerging in the local community. Wonderful establishment , amazing, empathetic and kind staff! I wanted to take the time to thank the instructors and the staff that make this studio the BEST yoga 🧘 studio in Montreal.

Holly Ammon: . It's always very clean. Staff is professional. They don't play music in most of the yoga classes unfortunately, so you have to listen to yourself heavily breathing during the silent class lol, so I skip the yoga. All the other classes are great, and there's a community feeling that I love.

AJ N'Goran: but the customer service is outstanding. I saw the other reviews about some experiences but I find that the staff is super attentive and friendly

arielle smith: I love taking classes here with emmanuelle Nicol , she is a great instructor !

Isabelle Ramet: This is my favorite place: a unique warm and inviting atmosphere, but above all teachers with high quality teaching. I love sculpt yoga which gives a good boost and rejuvenating Shangha flow.

Kiki Razanadrakoto: Emmanuelle Nicol’s sculpt yoga classes at Sangha yoga are simply great! All in simplicity but oh so effective. I love its style and how good it feels after each class.

Olivier: Great yoga school and awesome studio

Eva Bulas: !

Francis Poirier: Magnificent studio to discover. The staff is great

Andréanne Thibeault: The best yoga center in Montreal, certainly! A place where you feel at home, all the details are thought of such as the cleanliness of the place, the vast space, the candles lit to circulate the energy, the flowers, the plants, the enveloping smells. What can we say about the high quality teachings! A grandiose experience in every lesson. The training propels you towards the best version of yourself. If you want to become a yoga teacher, this is the best training! The richness of Sylvie's teachings, we are lucky.Namaste

Valérie Chabrerie: A very nice studio to practice on setAs soon as you enter, you feel propelled into a world of well-being and harmony, the practice room is large, lots of spaceWe want to stay after class in the living spaceThe courses are quality and the staff pleasantI will return there with great pleasure

Avital Ornovitz: LOVED this yoga studio!! This is probably the most beautiful place I have ever taken class in and the energy there is really nice. The two classes I took were in French and I only understood about 10% but the voices were so soothing and I just glanced around to see what everyone else was doing. I did a vinyasa and mellow flow class and both were so lovely. Highly recommend. I want to move to this neighborhood so I can come here every day!

Ariane Vermeersch: I love this place ! The urban garden envelops us when we arrive, the staff is always super welcoming and the courses are of very, very good quality! The Sangha is a place to recharge our batteries and do training that allows us to rise in all areas of our lives.

Emilie Nault: Such a unique place in Montreal to practice Yoga and the online class offering is really great too! A must

jo blo: Wonderful place with professional and welcoming staff

Ashtanga Yoga Montreal: what do users think?

Amal Gayed: Very welcoming studio and vibe for all levels and people. In my opinion best yoga instructors in Montreal - they have a strong base and understanding of anatomy to avoid injuries. Also had an excellent experience in the teacher training program and feel well equipped to teach.

Giverny Welsch: this space and its teachers have introduced me to a body revolution i can hope for anyone who wishes to embrace a practice with love and care, with joy through discomfort and more knowledge about one self.

isabelle dionne: This studio, dedicated and and gifted teacher, his community of perfect blend of students, work exange team make this place unique. I ve been practicing there over 10 years and couldn t imagine my life without it. It s been the safe and healing place of so many people, including myself over the years. I m gratefull for every class , for the welcoming and non judgmental ambiance and all the encouragement and guidance I ve got from my teachers over many years of practice influenced trough life, physical end mental changes.I strongly would recommend this place to anyone. 🖤🙏🖤

Champa Cyr: Wonderful place to practice yoga and meditation. Love this studio for many years!

Muriel Ide: depuis 20 ans !

EM Petiot: Bright and peaceful studio with the *best* yoga instructors.

Kitty De las Casas: I am the happiest and most satisfied with this Shala, not only comfortable and well located when practicing but also warm and cozy. All teachers are great but I have learnt how to enjoy and appreciate Jeanne’s classes the most.I look forward to every Monday and I will recommend it with my eyes closed.Thank you for your corrections in posture and advice, thank you for sharing your beautiful light with us! 🙏❤️

Judith L-P: I've been a student since 2008 and we'll be for many years to come. Classes offer a wide range of yogic practices based on both tradition and a kean sense of modern kinesthetic. With aging, I'm guided to prevent injuries and adapt to my bodies strengths and limitations. But the young and fierce better whatch out for the intense challenges of physical and spiritual growth.

jon borshy: Very authentic and caring teachers for all levels of students. If you’re looking to improve your health and or your spirituality, you’ve found the right place. Very affordable intro day/week and monthly passes. #selfcare

Michelle Laurin: Wonderful studio, good teachers and good classes.

Ned aaa: I like Jean’s style of teaching, I like the studio makes me feel like home!

lucas duncan: Rare to find a Yoga studio with such a holistic approach and attention to detail and to the needs and physical differences of each participant. Great teachers and variety of classes.

Mathilde Majois: I went to several classes there, especially the Mysore practice of the Saturday morning. Enjoyed every bit of it. Plus, I had the opportunity to rent one of the studios for several months. It was a chance to share such nice spaces to practice yoga with my students. There is not so much clear, clean and fully furnished rooms in Montreal, and such a great space ! Great teachers, greats spaces. I definitely recommend.

R M: I have been going to AYM for 15 years now and having tried many yoga studios in Montreal, I can safely say that this one is, in my opinion, the best. Jeanne, the owner, is an incredibly experienced, thoughtful, intelligent and kind person who has a huge wealth of yogic expertise. She has surrounded herself with high-quality, experienced teachers in order to create a community where safety, precision and alignment come first. There are classes for all tastes and levels here.

N P: A heartfelt community who takes the time to guide you through your practice. The owner Jeanne has brought together the kindest most caring people. If you want to practice yoga in a supportive calm homey space with a rich history, do yourself a favour & go there.

Eleanor Jones: I had the privilege of having a private session with Jeanne and it was simply incredible. Her knowledge and care were outstanding and the space was just divine. Well worth your time and energy. I feel centered and relaxed!

Jenny Bee Yoga: what do users think?

jbshaw astrology: Being facilitated by Jenny was a freeing and expansive experience. She maintained a sensitive balance between directing the session and allowing me to work through my process myself. She also combined the ability to hold an unconditional, compassionate space with a forensic desire to probe my deepest conditioning. One thing I found particularly useful about our session was the connections Jenny made between my bodily contractions and their corresponding chakra points. Two areas that repeatedly lit up during our session were the sacral and throat centers, and Jenny was able to explain the significance of these energetically, and how they were together trying to illuminate something to me. I found the conversational aspect of her approach very conducive to my way of processing things. She held me in those sensitive points, allowing them to have a voice seemingly for the first time and to release memories, images, old narratives and fears into the field, quite naturally. Jenny simultaneously pointed out the connections between out-dated beliefs and the corresponding energy centers, and as she did so the clogged energy began to move. This life force slowly sought new places to rest, and I was shown new, more expansive ways it could expressing itself in my life.I came into the session with a confused and fearful cluster of energetic knots and worst-case scenarios, and left with peace, clarity and a quiet happiness.

Yasodai Selvakumaran: I recently had a prenatal massage with Jenny and it was the best one/massage I've ever had! It was my first time having an Abhyanga pregnancy oil massage in the Ayurvedic style. At 28 weeks, I felt like air afterwards after feeling quite heavy from the weight of entering third trimester. Slept incredibly well that night and loved the feeling of the oil afterwards, especially as it was so soothing from dry skin in the Winter. I am booking to go again!

talia felber: a fountain of knowledge and an awesome resource for anything pre-natal and post-partum. yoga, massage, hynobirthing - jenny is the go-to! highly recommended.

Heather Marr: . I learned so much about why I am the way I am: why I have the relationship I do with my daughter, why I crave certain foods at certain times...even why I gravitated toward the work I do. Besides all this newfound insight, I walked away with a virtual tool kit of self-care options with which to experiment. I believe Jenny is a true urban Wise Woman! I plan to continue working with her, and will be recommending her to my clients as well.

Joseph arsenault ruel: Watch out, cause trying it is adopting it!

Kara Handyside: .I took prenatal yoga with her and am currently enrolled in postnatal. I look forward to it every week and truly can’t endorse her and her services enough.

Lisa J: Jenny brings a warm, caring, knowledgeable presence to your home, life and yoga practice with baby. I’m so grateful for her!

Kristie McCrory: Post natal yoga with Jenny was the first class I attended with my son after colic and coming out of postpartum anxiety. Jenny is a fabulous teacher/listener and adapts the class to the room. Let's face it babies aren't the most cooperative beings but she always makes the class fun.

Setareh Kohzadi: I participated in Jenny's prenatal yoga and education class which helped enormously to prepare for my labor and birth. I cannot imagine how things would have been for me have I not gone through all this preparation.I'm also participating in her postnatal yoga class which is awesome. During the Covid pandemic Jenny is helping all of us, new mums, to virtually stay connected, feel better and support each other.Beyond all Jenny is a great person who deeply cares about her clients.I highly recommend her!

Fialta Salembier: I took prenatal and postnatal yoga classes with Jenny. The feeling of sharing, helping and listening that she was able to bring to the lessons despite the fact that they were given on Zoom truly reflects Jenny's approach.Prenatal classes are an excellent complement to preparing for childbirth and postnatal classes are a good way to move, meet and spend time with your baby ❤️

Sarah Howard: Jenny is very caring. It is her priority to listen and help women during their prenatal and postpartum time. She brings moms to be and new moms together making the motherhood journey less isolating. Her yoga classes always start with a conversation helping women connect and have their questions answered.

Katharina Gerberding: and I always feel so grounded and connected after her classes.

Alice: . We don't know how we will cope with childbirth and what Jenny taught me allowed me to go to the big day equipped and more confident. Above all, empowered 💓After the birth of my baby I was lucky enough to have her as a postpartum doula and her professional help was essential but she was even more precious as a friend when I needed it most . Thanks Jenny🙏

Akasha Yoga Montreal: what do users think?

Lara Sterling: Akasha is a safe and nurturing place. The teachers are wise, kind and helpful. The space is clean, and inviting. I am always reminded to enjoy the process, to be curious instead of afraid of exploring new positions, and to ground myself in self love.

D. B: It was like a therapy session. Many thanks and see you next week :

Mo B: Beautiful space. The schedule is convenient. The teachers are friendly. A lovely vibe in general.

Claire Janssens: Alex is great and her prenatal yoga classes are so good, from the very beginning of pregnancy. The whole studio is super welcoming and full of kindness and gentleness.

Linda Abidi: Homey and clean yoga studio 5minutes away from Lionel Groulx metro station. The yin yoga class was very soothing and relaxing and beginner friendly. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

Iryna Diachenko: I underestimated yoga before coming to this studio.Highly recommended.Wonderful team and guests who come to the training sessions. You can even go to postnatal classes with your baby! I am delighted.I'm a typical cardio, cross-fit, strength training enthusiast. However, during and after pregnancy I could not do my usual activities and fortunately I discovered pre- and postnatal yoga with Alex Negru. That was a gift certificate from my close friends, I could not neglect it. Since now I will incorporate yoga into my daily routine even after fully recovery from childbirth.

Amanda Chen: 100% recommend this studio!

Marina Rontou: This studio for prenatal and postnatal yoga with Alex Negru. Is phenomenal thank you so much!

Protiti Mondal: 100% recommend this studio for prenatal and postnatal yoga with Alex Negru. It's a super supportive environment and the space is cozy. Just a note that the studio isn't accessible, in case this is relevant to you.

Jonathan Fortin: I enjoy the diversity of classes and teachers, also the sense of professionalism in genuinely caring about your experience!

Dana S: The studio offers complimentary tea and everyone greeted me so warmly. I felt at home. Thanks, I look forward to coming back!

Lauren Shiner: It seems that the other yoga studios do a better job of advertising, but based on my research and personal experience, this is the best yoga studio in Montreal.Absolutely the most class choices lead by well-trained and personable yogis in both French and English. As a primarily English speaker, I didn't find the French element distracting at all. And if I didn't understand, I could always just look up and watch the instructor.Lots of varieties of yoga at many convenient times.Beautiful waiting room and studio offering free hot herbal tea and cold water in real china or a real glass. The bathrooms are always spotless. There is an atmosphere of an oasis created by a generous spirit. The owner leads a community accessable class once a week for $10. Other ways of seeing if you like it is to try a free class, and then there are very generous introductory plans. The only thing I would change would be the mat rentals policy. At $2 per class it isn't much, but it can add up if you're there for a while. All other studios I have attended in other countries have had free mats available.5 minutes walk from metro Lionel-Groulx. Great area for dining after, or making connections to other parts of town.

Kay Hodson: but other ones I felt like there was to much obligation/emphasis on prop use. Please remember not everyone uses props they are usually not mandatory. For me I generally never use blocks when I do a lunge. So just want to put that out there! Thanks though it’s a fun little studio 4 sure. Also I appreciate the truly bilingual teachers as well it has been great to take French yoga classes or mixed or English. Very good since so many places only do one or the other here they have both.

Holly Whimsy: ! Great way to meet other, new mothers too :

Arianne rodriguez saltron: . This studio actually feels like a community and like a truly judgement free zone :

Virginie: Finally I found an inclusive yoga studio where I feel so good.Such a lovely welcome to Julie and Nathalie’s yoga classes. Despite my physical injuries, this is a place for...everyone! So, there’s no stopping you from starting yoga! Attentive, they take care to listen to the needs of the yogis and adapt their classes accordingly ❤️ I want to thank you!

Modo Yoga: what do users think?

Michelle: Modo yoga is the best yoga studio I’ve ever been to. Their staff is so professional and responsive to membership questions/concerns, especially during the covid shutdown. I’m really impressed and thankful for them!

Sarah Tremblay: Changed my life!

Krishna Lohra: Great staff, great teachers and great environment overall. For someone who hasn't really done yoga, the intro offer for the month was super awesome and after class I always feel like going back. The studios are also maintained well. Keep it up!

Sarah Bernard-Roy: Amazing teachers and staff. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, be it your first practice or your millionth practice. Amazing yoga class every single time.

frank dunbar: This studio is absolutely wonderful in every way. Not one bad thing to mention. Im from out of town and missed my studio back home until I came here. Also showed up for yoga at the park and the instructor really went above and beyond to help me with some of my poses and yoga questions. Thank you so much !

N. S.: My regular and systemic command of flow classes improved my posture so much that I have finally gained the half an inch in height we all incessantly long for.Howbeit the rules of nature dictate that each positive be counteracted by a negative, and thus, just like most men, my yoga mat is now too short for me.

ثنبخعخ بغب: Good service

Eugene Lipkovich: Moksha yoga is a place with good karma. Every teacher is great.

Anya: as the class is being zoomed online at the same time. They have updated the infrared sauna schedule with more timings.Hopefully they'll add few more hours in the week if there is a demand.Overall I recommend.- April 2024 update following -While I am trying out other studios, I must say they have the best soundscape on the entire premises

Dominique C: I would like to highly recommend the online "on demand" trainings of this Yoga center. I followed that of “Yoga of sound”. The teaching videos are well filmed and the sound is perfect. The structure of the course is excellent and touches on all aspects of this ancestral practice that is too often put aside but is so rich in meaning. The trainer, Ann Dyer, is even more inspiring with her personality, her experience, her creativity and the delicacy she takes to take us on a journey through this aspect of the discipline. The course is in English but it is easy to sometimes use the Google translator. We can also submit work in French. I also followed specialized Restorative Yoga training with the owner of this center, who is dedicated to her teaching and especially to her students. It was great! Finally, as I am already a certified Yoga teacher, I am pleased to return to train in this center which offers a haven of peace and well-organized classes so that I can continue to recharge my batteries and above all, to remain passionate about this Art. Thanks to the whole team!

alice lafleche: Amazing oasis and community, making the world a better place, truly devoted to yoga, wonderful and highly skilled teachers, very interesting variations on asanas

Sam L: Great location. Welcoming premises. The small tea room is very popular at the end of the session. The classes are well run, we are well supported when we are new to yoga, which was important for me as a newcomer to the practice. I completely recommend.

Mérick Djamadar: and had since been looking for a place with hours that better suited my schedule. The team is made up of friendly, attentive teachers who offer each session a practice balanced between pleasure and challenges, adaptable to each person's level. After the sessions, a small cup of tea is offered, in order to enjoy a few moments of additional calm before leaving the place. For me, after a few weeks/months at Naada Yoga:_ I breathe better and feel calmer at work_ I regained my high level of energy, lost with the sedentary lifestyle of the pandemic_ My hands

Delniouz: update: Naada's still here, still peaceful and unique, and now also offers classes in streaming.

Michelle Smook: Inclusive and family friendly. The owner is responsive, helpful, accommodating and kind. Highly recommend.

emily gan: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityA studio that is always adapting and growing in order to better serve its community. I am proud to say that I teach and practice here. My colleagues are amazing and the owners built the studio from the ground up.

Nathalie Bromont: My studio in Montreal! I would like to go there more often.

Romy Belzile-Maguire: I loved my prenatal yoga classes with Jenny! Very nice studio!

Louise Blain: excellent meditation class Wednesday noon

Louis-Philippe Dea: I'm doing yoga teacher training there. The rooms are very well lit with daylight and these also have several plants which add life. The center even provides dishes if you eat there!

Jérôme Carrier: Super Zen Center, perfect rooms for yoga... the energies are increasing... Note that the rooms can be rented for activities, therefore perfect for a workshop or a conference. 3 rooms, + a reading room. I adore

Polina Kunze: I used to feel nervous at other yoga places because people look at you weird if you're not as great as them and are dressed in the latest yoga fashions. Here, there's no pretense. Simply dressed. The teachers don't single you out. You feel at ease. Only complaint is they're specialized in kundalini so there's not much in the schedule for classic yoga.

Simon: 🔥

Angel Santillán: Everyone is super welcoming and nice. It’s my first experience doing yoga ever and I feel great. Thanks.

Sunny Jin: Good relaxing yoga classes and close to metro

Gaspard Haas: Great place for hot yoga!

Bahar Arapkirli: Frequency of classes really helps you choose whatever works for you. I love the fact that it's mainly in English!Feedback to the management: I would love to see a system where you can circulate the air better in the rooms, as you fill up the classes to the fullest capacity and have back to back sessions, smell of the sweat can be really off putting and distracting.

Morgan Turner: First time in Montreal and this studio was one of the highlights of my trip! The modo flow w Carolina was so lovely.

philippe Oufoue: I love it...incredible experience. You feel new, fresh and ready to face everything.

Sylvie Ntsama Mani: . Love their Vinyasa flow.

Luna Yoga: what do users think?

Holly Ammon: I love coming to the Jivamukti classes here. Other classes are great too. Teachers and staff are very kind. Good vibes. The only thing I wish was different was that it's a bit of a walk from the metro. Otherwise I'd be coming very often.

Shanni Chen: Masterful instruction, lovely space, I'll be coming back to this studio when I'm in MTL🙏

C G: The best studio with some great teachers. I appreciated the very quick neck massages to everyone who wants it during shavasana or the beginning of class and also the adjustments that help you go deeper into your practice. It is often very crowded on the weekends.

Catherine peché: I practice yoga, which is a passion, alone at home. Coming to the Luna studio opened my heart, body and mind. Practicing in a group and feeling the good vibes really carried me through.I was able to connect more to an energy of sharing. The technical advice on postures helped me to understand, to have a click, a new eye on what I thought I was doing well. It opened the body and mind to more awareness, well-being and more breathing, like more space within oneself and outside of oneself...a new breath. I leave the class with an intention and a benevolent strength that helps me to be in contact with my inner creativity and flexibility. This impacts external flexibility and restores balance naturally.Thank you very much for all this.

Negar Jamalifard: .

Susie SHI: First yoga lesson in my life.Dana, thank you so much.

Lauren Friesen: i’ve been coming to luna for about 2 months now and i absolutely love the space. it feels homey and quaint, and the staff are so friendly. the teachers are attentive and the class sizes are small. the intro month is a great deal as well!

Marian Sadler Arledge: My favorite place in all of Montreal. A true sanctuary, community, and inspiration. Thank you!

Ashley Dent: Incredible studio full of incredible humans. From the moment you walk in and hit your mat. Massages before and after class. Each instructor has such an amazing vibe. Love this place so much. I wish I lived here. I’ll be back !

Ève Victorine Cloix: Really feel at home here with the variety of teachers and classes they offer, there's something very grounding about a small dedicated yoga studio such as this one!

Sarah Leclerc: Love this place. It’s a very small studio but the vibe, the team, the classes are like no where else in Montreal. the best ones are with Jennifer, but they are usually all great. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Rebecca Duncan: we were visiting in town and ended up with a membership! couldn’t get enough. we absolutely loved this studio. so grateful we joined for practice 💕✨

Josh Jacobson: Wonderful yoga studio with a mindful approach and a nice community feeling. Highly recommend

Célia Foizon: What a pleasure to find YC in its enlarged formula! Always top quality teaching, very well trained teachers and very well defined routines.

Pierre-Edouard Guibourg: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityA good non-judgmental yoga studio with a vibrant community. Teachers are friendly and attentive to the students & classes are varied: yoga, yin, pilates, multi-barre for an affordable monthly fee.

Jaren: Wow, I love this place. The teachers are so wonderful at explaining the transitions, adaptations, and progressions. I had no expectations going in - just wanted to try a yoga class in my neighborhood. I'm pretty introverted and groups of people make me uncomfortable for the most part - but these ladies and the clientele are super down-to-earth. Lovely atmosphere. No egos here.

Raphaëlle Bonin: The Yoga Club is a family, a unique, inspiring and energizing place. The teachers are authentic, experienced, gentle, attentive. Cindy the owner is awesome and has created a simply unique place. I've been practicing there for 3 years now and I haven't found such a perfect place yet. For those in the know, I strongly advise you to try the YC.

Breathe with Lauren: what do users think?

Lindsey Burns: The best investment you can make for your birth! Lauren was integral in the successful physiologic, unmedicated birth of our second born daughter. In the months leading up to my VBAC, Lauren supported my partner and myself in the mental and physical preparation we needed. Through discussions, yoga and meditations I felt empowered and equipped. Lauren's presence on the day of was incredibly grounding for both of us, she kept me encouraged, positive and focused.

Lucy Baunay: Lauren has been absolutely key to our experience of giving birth to our first child. As we were going through a complicated delivery, she was the guardian of our serenity and peace of mind, especially when the situation was becoming stressful and uncertain. She was discrete yet very present, thoughtful and caring the whole time. We also loved spending time together after our son was born, at home, asking all of the questions we hadn’t initially thought about and going through some of our challenges related to caring for a newborn. Highly recommend. 3

Evelyn Velghe: How do I begin reviewing such an amazing woman and doula who truly transformed my birthing and postpartum experience? I’m hoping to add a raving review and hopefully inspire someone else to book her services. If you’re having a baby, regardless of your birth preferences, she should be your go-to resource.I was looking for a local, experienced doula who spoke both English and French - which was extremely important for communication purposes with medical staff.Lauren is the type of doula to focus on all aspects of the birthing experience: the physical and mental preparation for birth as well as the postpartum. She makes you address ALL the questions and feelings prior to giving birth and ensures you’re preparing for the fourth trimester. She’ll take the time to talk you through information on birth preferences, things to bring to the hospital/birthing centre and reflections in case your birth doesn’t go according to your preferences. My pregnancy and birth were going story book perfect - no complications throughout pregnancy, no anxiety, no induction, strong contractions once they began, no pain medication in labour - until the birth took an urgent turn.Lauren was such an incredible support throughout. I can’t imagine even attempting an unmedicated birth without her support. She knew exactly what I needed without me having to ask. Her kind and supportive words were always a welcome distraction. She continually encouraged me and reminded me that I had all the strength to bring my baby safely into this world. She was also an incredible emotional support for my husband, kindly showing him how to best support me and giving him much needed breaks. After a long unmedicated labour, a complication came up and the doctors called for an emergency C-section. Many women would feel disappointed that their birth ended this way. But because Lauren made me prepare for this potential outcome, I was very at peace with it. I vividly remember her telling me right before the surgery: “You’ve got this.“ It felt reassuring to know that I had someone looking out for me, my baby and my husband. If ever I have a second child I know I will be booking Lauren as my doula! I cannot recommend her enough ❤️

Jaclyn Rabin: and loved the virtual yoga courses with her. She truly knows how to create a safe and supportive space/community for pre and postpartum women! I would highly recommend her and her doula services as well as her yoga courses! Thank you Lauren for all that you do!

MM YOGA: I want to really thank Lauren, because taking this teacher training in this specific moment in my life has helped me transition into motherhood, embrace my body and my baby, and give into the full experience of being pregnant.Being able to transmit this to other women who are also pregnant has been a gift, and something I intend to keep on doing. Her training and embracing this has changed my yoga practice forever.

Jennifer Bracewell: Lauren turns post-partum yoga into a community with deft guidance, as well as wisdom and humour.

Melissa Levi: I took the prenatal yoga class and pain management class with Lauren and was so happy and satisfied with both! She is an amazing teacher with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her field! Thanks to her classes, I feel more strong, more empowered, and more ready for my pregnancy and birth. It was also really nice to share the space with other expecting moms/parents and connect with them. I would recommend her services 100% and look forward to taking more classes with her!

Louisa Mussells Pires: Lauren's prenatal yoga classes and birthing preparation class really helped my partner and I prepare for what ended up being a very positive birthing experience.

Lisia Lattanzio: .We could not have imagined going through pregnancy and labor without Lauren as our Doula.During the months leading up to our child's delivery, Lauren's guidance was invaluable to us.She addressed all of our questions and concerns, and really put our minds at ease!During my pregnancy, she always made me feel reassured, supported, and confident about the process. My fiancée felt motivated and prepared after our meetings with her as well, because she really helped him understand what to expect. He says it shifted his whole perception about the birthing process. The result: he was truly the most incredible support to me during labour. When my contractions began at home, having Lauren come by the house to get us in our “game time” mindsets was just what we needed! It also helped us eliminate any guess work with regards to when it was time for us to leave home and head on over to the birthing center for our big adventure.I am not sure how I would've made it through the delivery without Lauren's support. In my story, I feel like she literally saved me.We were about 13 or so hours into labor. All had been going relatively well up until this point.I was now exhausted and in terrible pain.I was pushing with all my might; however, my midwife was telling me that my contractions were simply not strong enough to get this baby out. We were trying every technique and trick in the book. My body was exhausted. I was doing everything I could, with every ounce of energy I had, yet it still wasn't enough. I was now in a panic and had no idea what else to do.My body seemed to no longer be cooperating, no matter how hard I tried. Mentally, I was feeling defeated. Fear and panic began to kick in.This last hour felt longer than the last 13 hours combined.Due to the pandemic’s restrictions, Lauren was not allowed to be with us in person. However, she told us we could call or video call her at any time.It was approximately 5:30 am. My partner was equally as worried about me for the first time in the last 14 hours because of the state I was in. He knew it was time to call Lauren and gave her a video call to which she promptly answered. She was ready! What happened next was nothing short of a miracle for us.Lauren's soothing voice instantly made me feel at ease. The physical distance between us no longer seemed to exist. With my eyes closed, I listened to her voice. It’s as if she tapped in to my very being, and the only way I can explain it is that I felt like we were now “one”.Her guidance was like a meditative journey that allowed me to breathe so deeply at a pace which literally re-energized my body, and re-focused my mind. She helped me regain my center.Within minutes, I became calm.Suddenly, my contractions started to become more powerful! The midwives told me that this was it, to keep going, and that my baby was finally coming! We are so grateful to say that our baby was born healthy, my recovery was amazing, and like I said earlier we both cannot imagine having gone through pregnancy and labor without Lauren as our Doula.Thank you, Lauren, we are lucky to have an amazing angel like you to help guide us through the most spiritual and sacred life events of pregnancy and delivery. You have been a blessing - Keep doing what you do!!!Much love ~

Geneviève Grégoire-Labrecque: and my partner and I have also registered for her online class "Preparing the Birth Partner" and I really enjoy this pregnancy journey having her alongside. Her prenatal yoga classes are more than just yoga classes, they are also a means to connect between moms-to-be, to go inward, reflect, share, discuss, grow in a respectful & safe space. It is also very flexible and I really feel like I can participate in the way that I feel comfortable without being judged. Lauren is indeed very considerate. She takes time to check-in with everybody, she listens, cares and adapts her practice to the future-moms' needs. The "Preparing the Birth Partner" workshop was also a positive learning experience for us as a couple and future parents. Lauren is an excellent

Audrey Teasdale: The prenatal workshops offered by Lauren gave me the confidence and reassurance that my partner and I needed to face the birthing process. But beyond all that, I am grateful to Lauren for her virtual support during my work. His words gave me the positive energy I needed to give birth!Thank you Lauren for your support and valuable advice throughout this great adventure!

Amanda Greenman: .At the time I had also considered hiring a doula to help me through the birth process since I had dealt with a lot of anxiety during my pregnancy

Mallory Wilson: . My partner and I are very happy with our birth experience even though it didn’t go as planned, as I was prepared to take decisions that felt right for me in the moment. Her postpartum visit was also very helpful and encouraging, making things work for our family; rather than worrying about what works for others. Thanks Lauren! Xo

Pauline Roussel: Prénatal training with Lauren was amazing! She created a benevolent and easy atmosphere, even though we were on Zoom! Lauren is passionate and teaches with her heart. She is a generous soul and I deeply recommend her training!

Annie Provencher: Excellent training, excellent trainer! Thanks Lauren :*

Lindsay Slater: Lauren has been a part of my life for just over two years and I have tried several of the classes she offers. Currently I'm enjoying fertility yoga that combines flow and yin-style yoga, breath-work and introspection to leave me feeling more knowledgeable about myself and less anxious about my fertility journey.

Sara Del Bello: Lauren is such a light and an amazing teacher. She brings genuine positive and uplifting energy to her online yoga sessions which feel very personal and full of intention. I just completed the CALM yoga series and it has been such a gift to myself, this dedicated time to feel good, reconnect with my body and mind in the comfort of my home and sweats. I look forward to continuing this series as it has provided the stress relief I was looking for. With her complete background and continuing education, Lauren delivers so much value! Thanks for doing what you do.
