Leaving a message with the reception isn't an efficient problem solving strategy. I believe this is simply because of the demanding work load this department has to juggle.The superintendant is fantastic.If you call for plumbing or for an appartment fix up, it is incredibly quick and friendly.Stephanie in rentals is lovely and trustworthy.
Michael Sensenstein: My mom just moved here, so far so good but the main complaint from people is that there are only 2 elevators serving a 12 story building. and when 1 elevator is broken which apparently happens frequently, its quite frustrating.

Speaking of Entertainment, it is usually good, ranging from excellent down to well... maybe they should have stayed alonesinging in their shower. . but the residents love it.. I enjoyed accompanying my mother to sever concerts where they offer coffee and DELICIOUS cookies... In terms of food, it is typical institutional food.. a bit uneven in quality and taste .. and most residents i spoke with sort of give me 'that look' if i ask them if they enjoy the food. Mesut Kaplan: I stayed 4 nights there for concert last August. For a single and didn't spend so much time at room, it was fair enough for me. Staff were helpful as well.Rooms: The facility is old and ground is noisy when someone walks.

Nick Hanson: Hostel-style residence in a historic Grey Nuns building that is now a Concordia residence hall. Check in was quick and easy, you cannot beat the rate you pay for how central you are to everything. An easy walk from the Metro station on Guy.My single room was spacious and had a great view. Be sure to open up the windows and take in the city. The room has a mini fridge, sink and a large desk. No AC here which should be obvious when booking. The provided fan was more than enough to keep the room cool, although temperatures outside were mild during my summer stay. The building is gigantic and it may be a bit of a walk in and out depending on where your room is.The bathrooms are communal and numerous- the bathrooms were definitely the most dated part of this place and could badly use a modern renovation to make them more roomy and accessible. Be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo as they are not provided.Parking is *not* provided despite what some websites say. Street parking in front of the building is time limited and pricy. I would recommend not bringing a vehicle if you can avoid it. If you must park, the Concordia FB garage next door is safe and a relative value compared to the rest of the area at $18.50 CAD a night.The property is gigantic and has a beautiful courtyard- I recommend asking a staff member how to get there as it’s a little bit of a maze. While staff were for the most part very friendly and helpful, I did run into one security guard who wasn’t the friendliest and forced me to stand and watch him explain how to close a door that I hadn’t left open. It was a bit of an uncomfortable encounter, especially given the language barrier. Some quick Google searches show that this is a problem that students encounter sometimes as well.Overall the Grey Nuns is a phenomenal value and a comfortable stay as long as you’re expecting more of a hostel and not a luxury property. I will definitely stay here again in future trips to Montréal.

Helen Lam: Our dorm room is the best deal at the best location. The McGill MRT station is a block away and there is a bus stop around the corner right on Sherbrooke. Our room was large and even offered a small refrigerator. We never waited to use the show for those . There is NO AC! As all of the fans were rented out on our first night, it was a very uncomfortable first night! Our situation much improved when we were able to rent two desktop fans. The heat became more tolerable with the two fans pointing atus 24/7. For those traveling by car, bring your own fan so you don’t have to worry about renting one.

She is secure, and even her health has improved. Recently, I had to request an administrative service and it was personally the director Mr. Laflamme who got involved in resolving a legal situation. Carmen Melançon: Good morning,Life brought me here earlier than expected but if there is one thing that I do not regret it is the choice of the Les Belvédères residence in Lachine.It is a place that is very well located, with Lake Saint-Louis just a few steps away, and which offers a green courtyard. The streetsall around are calm and beautiful to discover. Shopping is easy to do, everything is nearby, clinics etc. Also.My apartment is bright and very well designed. Whatever the problem is, it's Chartwell's, not mine. Phew!There are activities for all tastes, and it is also our choice not to participate. Paul Chaks: The Belvederes building itself is comfortable, well-equipped, and provides key services for residents but more importantly, the people who work there are friendly, caring, and compassionate. My father resided at the Belvederes since 2009 and was always treated with respect, dignity, and care. The staff has always taken the pandemic seriously and have been dilligent about putting safety measures into place quickly and keeping residents and the families of residents well-informed. I have always felt confident about the care my father received there.
Brian B.: This is a well-appointed residence for seniors with onsite swimming pool, convenience store, billiards room, hair salon, and pharmacy service.
