Leaving a message with the reception isn't an efficient problem solving strategy. I believe this is simply because of the demanding work load this department has to juggle.The superintendant is fantastic.If you call for plumbing or for an appartment fix up, it is incredibly quick and friendly.Stephanie in rentals is lovely and trustworthy.
Michael Sensenstein: My mom just moved here, so far so good but the main complaint from people is that there are only 2 elevators serving a 12 story building. and when 1 elevator is broken which apparently happens frequently, its quite frustrating.

Speaking of Entertainment, it is usually good, ranging from excellent down to well... maybe they should have stayed alonesinging in their shower. . but the residents love it.. I enjoyed accompanying my mother to sever concerts where they offer coffee and DELICIOUS cookies... In terms of food, it is typical institutional food.. a bit uneven in quality and taste .. and most residents i spoke with sort of give me 'that look' if i ask them if they enjoy the food. Nicole Fortier: Clean and smiling staff
Achyut Adhhikari: A retirement residential and rehabilitation center for the senior citizens. Provide medical care for the residents with the Nurses and the support workers. Homely environment and food menu on choice are the distinct features. Locating besides the Décarie highway is it’s another advantage. Opens at 6am until midnight.
Anne Goldwasser: My late dad was there and got excellent care. The PABs are very caring and compassionate.The nursing staff were wonderful. I myself am a Licensed Practical Nurse and I was impressed with everything. The director is very accommodating and I cannot have had better care for my dad. Thanks to the wonderful staff on the 16th floor.
Erin Friend: My aunt has been living at this residence for over a year now and although she occasionally complains about the food and the neighbors, by her own words, "for the first time in a long time [she feels] safe and cared for". Above all else, that is what she needed.
Guerrier Bleu: This residence offers quality accommodation enhanced by interesting services such as laundry, housekeeping, entertainment, 3 meals of 2 choices with table service, full medication coverage, health professional on site 24/7 including one doctor once a week and more!However, what greatly enhances this establishment is the dedicated team who redouble their efforts at every moment to always maintain a high level of service for residents. These professionals have, over the years, developed expertise in mental health with more than 20 years of diverse experience.To continue a life project by remaining active in the heart of Montreal in dignity and pain-free happiness, come and try a different experience.
Michael Margulies: My mom has been living here for 4 months now and I must say that I am impressed with the management, nurses and overall care. I do not live in the same city and she has practically no one to help her locally. The staff has gone above and beyond their call of duty, making sure my mom has the care she needs and is not left completely alone. They will never accept gifts or tips so that no one gets preferable treatment and I can atest to that as I have tried and they simply will never accept anything. Yet they continue to offer care and communicate immediately if anything comes up. If I need to contact the management or nurses I never had to wait or leave a message for them to call me back, they are very accessible and kind. Knowing my mother is at the Boulevard puts my mind at ease and relieves allot of stress. Great job!!

M Lim: for the exceptional service they provided during & after my stay
Victor: The good : Rooms are very nice. They have a full equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and all utensils like dishes, cups, glasses, etc.The mattress is extremely confortable.The hotel includes a decent all you can eat breakfast where there's always eggs and some type of sausage, bagels, coffee, milk, oats, yogurts, apples, bananas and oranges. Service is super nice! Specially Felix the CubanThe bad : The bathrooms are not good. The toilets don't have enough flushing power. Perhaps this way they save more water or something but they don't work well.The room service uses the same pair of gloves to take the dirty towels, clean the toilet and sink, put new towels, do the bed and take the dishes out of the dishwasher into the cupboards. I mean you were just cleaning the toilet!The elevators are not enough to serve all hotel floors. Wait time can be 10 minutes easyThe ugly : In front of the hotel there's an active construction going on. They are very noisy and the view is really ugly unless you are on a very high floor or on a room not facing the construction
Essa Rachel: Clean hotel in a great location! Everyone in the reviews says the elevators were super small which wasnt a big issue for us, however they were pretty slow and one of the 3 was out for repairs so the other two were busier. Not a big deal, but I would say they were pretty normal sized elevators, only a bit on the small size.Showers were hot and good water pressure. We didn't use the kitchenette but it was a decent size and would have been nice if we were staying longer.The front desk staff were great, and I enjoyed the included breakfast as well as the gym. Lots of dining options close by, as well as only a 5 min walk to the Peel stairs up to Mont Royal.
Steven Robinson: Rooms: Clean and floor plan is really well thought out. Service is great.Nearby activities: Metro is a block away. Great restaurants within three blocks.Walkability: Two blocks from St. Catherines St.
Mike Shank: was an excellent host at check in and helpful throughout my stay. It was extremely convenient for my downtown business, an easy walking distance for great shopping and dining. The room was excellent. I felt like I was on vacation not working away from home. I saw a number of families and kids checking in on several days but I never heard a sound from my room. Does a nice free breakfast everyday on the mezzanine level. The shower in the king suite is fabulous - great water pressure and I really like the bath amenities. To be this felt much more like a luxury brand upscale property especially the room and service. Highly Recommended!!!Rooms: The King Suite upgrade is fantastic! Full kitchen, sleeper sofa and closet, two person dining table, desk, bedroom with king size bed, closet, chair, bathroom.

Antonietta Lapolla: Les Jardins D’Italie – a safe and lively space for our Italian seniors to enjoy their golden years. Over the last number of years we have seen changes to ownership, management and building structure. In my view, the changes have always been welcomed as the end goal has always taken into consideration the wellbeing of the seniors.My mom has been a happy resident for 14 years now – on to celebrating her 96th birthday soon! Over the 14 years, has developed a great social group and takes advantage of the activities provided that interest her. She continues to enjoy her time mainly because of the friendships she has developed. As her daughter, I am grateful that I have peace of mind in her well-being. My mother plans on celebrating her 100th at this residence!I would like to thank Tania, the new director, and her team for their continued efforts in ensuring the well running of this residence. Tania, you arrived on site in a difficult time, just post Covid, and have had your hands full. We appreciate and thank you so much for all that you have done, plan to do and your commitment towards all our seniors. Best of luck and be sure to seek out our help where we can be of assistance. This truly should be a joint effort!
Dario Zamora: Text for reviewLes Jardins d’Italie is a beautiful residence . My mother-in-law is so happy living there.She tells my wife and I that the General Manager and her staff are human, kind, fun and patient.They keep the seniors busy with all their activities and the staff participated in their parties.The GM is at every party waiting tables, dancing with the residents and helps her staff to clean up afterwards.The only complaint we have is that my mother-in-law is too busy to see us.She’s always rushing off to an activity.It’s a definite improvement over what it was under previous administration.

Jennifer Chang: . There was a connected underground parking which was $20 a day. Close to amenities and Old Montreal was about a 20 min walk away. The room was functional which was our expectations, it is a student residence during the school year. Staff were all friendly and were easy to communicate with.
