The restaurant has a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with a fireplace and a large wine selection. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from burgers and salads to steaks and seafood. I ordered the grilled salmon with roasted vegetables and it was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and a tender flesh. The portion was generous and the presentation was appealing. The service was attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and the wine pairings, and he made some great recommendations. PATRICK GRENIER: If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the place. They prepare the salad and the crepes in front of you. The food is phenomenal and the wine cellar very impressive. Katherine Parker: Danny and Matthew were exceptional - they exceeded every expectation we had in regards to service. Rib N Reef doesn’t offer a fresh squeezed margarita, I asked Matthew for one and he made it happen. It was delicious and he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Danny had a great intuition for service making you feel like you were the only ones in the restaurant. I would highly recommend asking for them during your next visit. Service like this is VERY HARD to come by so when you do experience this type of service it is memorable
Lex DT: Very laidback steak house, good service, good consistent food. I’ve been going there for 15 years. The drinks are also really good drink and they have a good wine list.Why not fully 5 stars ? The valet parking… the restaurant is literally in a parking lot, just drop it or make them less agressive. I don’t like people parking my cars and it’s less convenient for me when I come with my kids. Every time it’s a story of telling them I don’t want valet … I’m already in the parking I can get between 2 lines.

When I saw other waiters they weren’t in such a rush.Our steaks were tasty and I liked the vegetables.My husband mentioned to hostess that it was my birthday and I were given a piece of cake, which was nice.Overall, the place is nice, atmosphere is like in any other good restaurant, the only thing which needs improvement the quality of service,as food there is not cheap.
Nicole Piggott: We are long time devotees of the vieux port brunch buffet. We are very disappointed that they no longer have the buffet for Father’s Day. The price is absolutely ridiculous and astronomical for what it is. $70 is a lot of money and they no longer provide a mimosa with that and they used to give the mothers a rose. No smoked salmon!!!! It is not worth the money!

Robert M: Heard about Lattuca BBQ for years from my nephew but never made it in until last night. Food was great. Particularly enjoyed the brisket, tasty and juicy, and the pork ribs, tender but with just the right amount of bite. Considering the state of restaurant dining today, I found the quality/portion size/price ratio very reasonable. I’d recommend this place!
D Tang: Visiting from Windsor, Ontario and I have tasted some good smoked BBQ from Detroit. This place is top notch. Food and service were right on point. Staff works extremely hard and very attentive. Owner stopped to talk and can tell he takes great pride in providing amazing food. If you are ever in Montreal, this place should be on your list to visit!!

Beans were phenomenal- a pleasant surprise!Menu and service were a bit lackluster for a few reasons- their menu exists only on a blackboard in the restaurant that shows pricing for option of 1, 2 or 3 meats along with choice of sides. However, when we placed our order, it sounded like you can’t order a 2 meat platter and just share between the two of us. The way the server explained it sounded like they charge based on # of person and quantity.We overheard one table settling their bill when we arrived and they were confused with the charges while another large group just got seated and they were also very confused with how pricing worked

Robert Oliver: Fantastic dinner, probably the best we had on our trip. Had the seafood special appetizer with the aoli sauce which was incredible. Beef tartar was great too! Split the New York strip with the bone marrow. Cooked to perfection and so rich with the marrow also liked the side horse radish cabbage. Someone else got the lobster pasta which was outstanding! Enjoyed the lemon sorbet thoroughly!

Will definitely go back to try what our table neighbors had, lobster spaghetti, which was a whole lobster on pasta! We spent 250$ for a shared meal with no appetizers, so expect to spend a little. Worth every penny!
