Hostelworld seems to overbook this place so you might end up sleeping on a couch in the common area. I was charged extra because I showed up at 11:30pm, but I was happy to get a bed. The owner had boxes full of Costco muffins to eat. Seems to be one guy running the place, so expect some communication and organization imperfections. I played music with a nice man who spent nights in a hammock on the front porch. It's pretty small, so there's plenty of opportunity to get to know other travelers.

I didn’t know that this hostel was LGBT friendly prior to booking, but it was a pleasant surprise when I found out and that was confirmed and supported by my time there. The manager, Jonathan, was very gracious, helpful, friendly and accommodating. He made my stay delightful! There were a few things that they could do better, but all in all I had a great time, would recommend it and would stay again if I visit Montreal again.

It has a bag/luggages storage facility where you can stop away you luggage or $8.00 per day. Recommended to people that are easy going and social.

Just behind our building we have a grocery store that features extended services hours open until midnight and a few blocks eastbound on Mont-Royal Avenue, is another large surface grocery store which is open 24 hours. Your handbags were left unattended for over five minutes in the public breakfast room during peak hour, this is not recommended, especially if you are carrying valuable items such as passports, wallets, car keys, etc.

Please rest assured, the hotel is always willing to cooperate with law enforcement and provide them with any necessary support during the investigation but you are the only person who could file the police report.
