Kris McKeown: Great experience in general. They brought be in on time and made me feel comfortable from the onset.I had a gastroscopy and I was somewhat nervous to be sedated. To be honest, I don't even remember feeling loopy or anything. The procedure was very smooth and efficient. Anyone that is feeling nervous should not be worried for one second.They provide clear results with a comprehensive report that you get to take home.The only thing I could complain about is that they are unable to provide a proper quote which would have helped with my insurance coverage process.

As soon as I arrived, the welcome from the receptionist was very friendly and professional.The waiting room is only for patients and unfortunately many patients do not follow the instructions despite the posters.I was subsequently welcomed by Mr. Jean Daniel who immediately put me at ease. Smile and listen. Nurse Marie-Julie was remarkably helpful. She was present with me and aware of my pain. His help was greatly appreciated.Dr. Stephanie Marcil was exceptional and professional. She took the time to learn about my situation and put me at ease. She answered my questions throughout the procedure. She took her time and did a very good job. Ryder B.: Clean and modern facilities. Very professional setting. Dr. Scheim and the team of nurses are caring, compassionate and attentive to the patient’s needs and concerns. Dr. Scheim clearly and calmly responds to questions and engages with the patient on a human level. I never feel rushed with her. I always feel at ease at this clinic, and this is coming from someone who hates going to the doctor. Her logical and thorough approach are much appreciated. Appointment times are generally respected. Staff is fully bilingual. It is expensive for consultation, especially if you don’t have insurance, but this is a private clinic after all.. Test results are available within 24-72 hours usually. My only gripe is that it is difficult to get a hold of someone when calling. They make you wait awhile on the phone. Also, the receptionists can be rude at times; it depends who you land on.

Janet Ramsay: I am writing this on behalf of a friend, DD, an 80 yr old gentleman who received care at the hospital on March 14th 2024. He had fallen and incurred a head injury requiring a CT scan, referred by the Royal Victoria hospital. He was asked which MD would follow up and said he did not know. He was told “someone would contact him”. Concerned about this, he went to the Emergency dept and took number 34 and was soon seen by the nurse at the desk. He explained his situation to her and she said “this is not right, I’m going to find the answer for you”. She took his B/P, temp, O2sats and then gave him a referral sheet with an appt for a specialist. He was beyond grateful for this nurse who went over and above to help him with kindness and compassion. Her name was Nurse Colombo, and the Montreal General is very fortunate to have such a caring, efficient and kind employee. DD wants to thank her!

I first chose this clinic because of the comments, yes, but also because of the method proposed, more expensive, but which promised a rapid recovery. So I placed all my trust and hopes on this choice, having been really self-conscious about my nose since high school, and finally decided to take action once and for all!Today is my 12th day post-op. Observation: it’s the best decision I’ve made in my entire life! The team, as well as Dr Samaha, were very friendly, professional and reassuring. The doctor immediately understood my needs and my expectations, and respected them. He has a very realistic and honest approach to the result. He didn't make me a false promise. Everyone around me is very impressed by the natural result of my surgery, and above all, by the speed of my recovery. Only those closest to me can notice the difference, and that's exactly what I was hoping for. I took 4 acetaminophens total after surgery to relieve mild discomfort. I had very little swelling and bruising after the procedure, and it's pretty much gone already! The doctor even called me the following Saturday evening to check on me!!I was able to resume my activities very quickly. I look at myself in the mirror, and I finally feel free from an immense weight. I finally look like what I always wanted to look like. I am already much more enthusiastic about life, and my self-confidence is reaching new heights. His approach emphasizes achieving a natural look by balancing facial proportions to create aesthetic harmony. My face and neck lift took place on March 13, a little over two weeks ago, and it looks great.The entire staff will care for you throughout the process, before, during and after the operation as if you were family. Well done, Dr. Samaha, for your team!My healing process is going better than I expected, you can barely see the scars. Even though there is still a little asymmetry in the face/neck, which is completely normal after 2 weeks of surgery, I am very happy with the results obtained so far! L Larouche: Doctor Samaha gave me a deep plane facelift/neck and an upper lip lift. The procedure took place under local anesthesia with light sedation. After two weeks, I am very satisfied with the result which I describe as natural; I don't look stretched, the effect is subtle, but impressive. Post-surgery pain is low, let's talk more about discomfort the first days. I was able to resume my social activities after two weeks with already barely visible scars. The deep lift requires great expertise and I recommend Dr. Samaha who focuses exclusively on facial surgery and whose history and professionalism of the team are beyond doubt.

Romy: The best for emergency care! I brought my cat Kenny here for urinary blockage and he needed to be hospitalized. I was so happy with the level of care he received. If you need somewhere to go for an emergency this is definitely the place. Thank you for all the attention and extreme care to detail with my cat! I was lucky enough to pass quickly and I was out of there in less than an hour, with the medicine for my kitty with a herpes attack. Their explanations are clear and we see that they really love animals. I could hear the technician talking to the vet about my cat and calling him “a beautiful little redhead”, which reassures the integrity of the staff!

He was very well received by the staff who shared his pain. When he came back around 6:30 in the morning without the dog and his eyes full of water, I understood but you gave him time to live his last moments with his faithful companion. Juliana MH: makes me realize that people will only leave reviews if they are very satisfied or very dissatisfied. The thing with anything brain-related is that you, the patient, need to be completely open and transparent about what is bothering you so that you can get proper treatment that works. You also need to go in there with the mindset that you’re there to get well. If you don’t put the effort into taking care of yourself, of course your treatment won’t work because failure is a self-fulfilling prophecy. My treatments didn’t come with no side effects, but side effects for any type of infusion or medication should be expected. I was very open about how I was feeling when the nurses called me the day after my treatment, and I think my honesty helped achieve better results. There were a couple treatments that I was interested in but didn’t qualify for, and they explained why, which was appreciated. The environment was definitely designed to make the patient feel safe and comfortable, which is definitely a good thing seeing as some treatments can be very scary

Astrid Hammermeister: Dr Paul Tabet was very patient when listening and answering question. I was getting a "cord goes deep in your nose" test, and he was kind and understanding about that difficulty and my discomfort.A lot of medical workers get annoyed or angry if you spazz out or can't relax during an uncomfortable or painful procedure, and instead he reassured me that I was doing well, and to me that's going above and beyond.Outside of that, the clinic was uncomfortable loud, which clashed horribly with the low quality speakers that announced which patient should go to which room.
NM: , and also you can only cancel/reschedule an appointment by calling at least 2 days before the scheduled appointment so that you don't pay the cancellation fee. Whereas you can confirm your appointment in the automatic appointment reminder email that they send you the week of your appointment, however, you can't cancel your appointment through that email/online confirmation link -- I hope they can change this, so that there is no need to call and wait on the phone for a while in order to cancel/reschedule an appointment.

But, thanks to the employee who was on shift at 22.30 on May 7, everything went surprisingly easily and quickly. Many thanks to her! Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but thank you very much! She even made an appointment to the hospital to see a doctor the next day, so as not to wait 10 hours for a doctor’s appointment here. Thank you very much that there are such people!

Knowing that before going to the Jewish, I went to the Jean Talon hospital and I was warned of a 9-hour wait. All the nurses who took care of me were incredibly caring and attentive. Everyone was nice to me and kind. Thanks to the doctor on duty for taking my case seriously and demanding all possible tests. I had a lot of tests including a CT scan, all quickly.
