Saint Sushi Plateau: what do users think?

Gabriel Viau Hernandez: Absolutely fabulous!Really delicious sushi. The service was friendly and very helpful.A perfect place for a date or with friends.Small selection of wine, but all very good choices to go with the sushi. We will return very soon

Janet R London: I love this place and the owner Saeng! His staff is so amazing and attentive and fun! Let’s; talk about the FOOD QUALITY !!! The tasting platter with the sashimi is to die for! It is in a ginger apple reduction and is unlike anything you have ever tasted. Then the sushi… like the Bob Marley …. And spicy tuna… just out of this world and filled with PURE LOVE! The atmosphere is epic, cozy and intimate as well as filled with decor from Laos … really Thaïlandaise and spiritual . I highly recommend this spot! Go to the location on DULUTH you would not be anything but enchanted by the staff and the vibe and the EXTRAORDINARY FOOD!!!!!

Ryu: what do users think?

Orum: I made a reservation for an omakase on Friday and decided to order a drink as well. It was pretty pricy, 227$ after tax and tip. But I think it was generally a worthwhile experience, and I enjoyed everything I ate.It came in 6 parts:1. Miso Soup & Edamame2. Sashimi platter3. Marinated Seabass with greens4. Plate of Mushroom and Scallop Maki5. Nigiri Platter6. Miso Ice Cream with Chocolate Mousse CakeFor the most part, I enjoyed everything that was served to me. All the fish tasted fresh, and the presentation was pleasing. The waiter explained to me in detail what every plate contained clearly.I think the only part I was slightly disappointed in was the mushroom and scallop Maki. Not because it was bad, but it was odd that every other platter had so much variety or uniqueness, while I was just served 6 exact same rolls for this specific platter.

Ohana Sushi Vegan: what do users think?

M Eagle: and I very much enjoyed all the dishes. The atmosphere is cute & casual, lovely staff.

Alex: . I found the vegan "spicy mayonnaise" sauce exciting, it was well made. I ordered the "volcano", which contains no rice, the toppings are on a fried zucchini: very good and it fills you up. Would love to try this restaurant with friends in the dining room next time.

Laila K: Vegetarian options: Menu 100% veganDietary restrictions: Menu sans gluten

Jonathan HEUZE: Superb beautiful discovery. The sushi was delicious. Wide variety which is very appreciated. If you want choice, quality and a nice time I recommend 😁Vegetarian options: Yes the place is vegan 😁

Lydia L: The food is very good and delicious and we will come back. The mushroom poké is delicious and the sushi tasty. A gluten-free menu can be requested which prevents you from worrying about what you can or cannot eat. A little word to help you improve: A little spring cleaning would be welcome in the toilets which clash with the rest of the place...

Arman Izadi: WELL WORTH THE WAITTiny restaurant, huge lines, and for a good reason. The food quality is astounding. Never have I had food this good this fast for this cheap.Main courses under $18 abundant, appetizers under $10, service is crazy fast like a good busy restaurant should be.Get the curry get the bibimbap

Emilie Stewart: .Vegetarian options: Tofu. Get the tofu & salads. Fried Green beans are also delicious and pretty unique!

Maya Jacquier: Absolutely amazing. Automatically became a favorite due to the fast service, wonderful staff and mouth watering food. Delicious food, always fresh and at a wonderful price. I the lines can be long but they can be avoided if you come aliens 5:30, then you might wait only about 20 minutes. One of the best spots in the city, and a must try for anyone passing through Montréal

Sara F: Delicious ramen! Their fried chicken was also great

Billy Leung-Jok: A great izakaya with excellent price points. I've come to this place when it was first opened and I am glad to see this place has not only kept up with the quality expanded their operation as well. Between the 2 of us, we ordered 3 entrées, 1 yakitori and shared a dessert and the check came to $67 before tips. Excellent food and value. One girl was rather abrupt with her attitude but everyone else was nice and friendly.

Wei-Min Hum: . The dishes are to be shared. Very varied choice of fish and meat. A personal taste, I find that there is sometimes too much sauce in the dishes.Very small restaurant, but that's what gives the atmosphere to the restaurant. Not suitable for groups, 4 people max otherwise it is very difficult to find a place. You have to go early at 5:00 PM, otherwise there is a line-up and wait. The service is excellent and very fast. An absolutely must-try restaurant in Montreal!

Sushi Momo Végétalien: what do users think?

Ruben Voskuil: First time that we unknowingly ended up at a vegan restaurant. We had a delicious meal and would definitely return. Partly due to the excellent service from Layna, who helped us at the bar. There was plenty of time between courses and the house gave us Edamame beans when it took a little longer. Definitely recommended to make a reservation at the bar.

Gunjan Asher: One of the best Vegan sushi restaurants in canada.Consistent in their flavours, textures and taste.Been coming here every trip to Montreal past few years and found the good quality the same.Exceptional service and good ambianceNever have I seen such innovative flavours in vegan/ vegetarian sushi.Great combos and interesting options.Always spoilt for choosing what to order.Would definitely come back again when I revisit Montreal.Great job Sushi Momo for being so consistent in keeping the standards so high.Parking: We found parking just outside the restaurant very easily. Plenty of street parking

Rosa: We didn’t realize this was a vegan sushi spot and ended up loving the food we tried. So fresh and tasty.Silly me ended up forgetting my purse at the restaurant and Bianca gratuitously came in on a Monday, the day they’re closed to give me my purse back. Best customer experience!!! We will be back.

Gabrielle Warren: I have only ordered through delivery apps from Sushi Momo, but I am so glad that I ended up visiting the restaurant. I am from out of town and spent hours catching up with a friend here. The staff was so friendly and made us feel welcome. The tasting menu was an amazing value and we left full and satisfied. Would definitely reccomend everyone to come and experience.

Thiziri Bel: highly recommend this gem with authentic japanese food, great presentation and very friendly service. products are fresh and the taste is remarkable. i highly recommend the salmon zuke don and tataki tuna. Service is fast and you get to see the chefs as they cook and prepare your food, which makes the experience even better. I will definitely go back!

L j: Visited for the first time a few weeks ago. Long wait for lunch, but definitely worth the wait. Prices are reasonable and the food is very good and quite creative compared to other offerings in the city. Its popular for good reason and I will definitely be back.

Rus Trana: Really really good flavours. The miso eggplant is absolutely to die for, beautiful texture. The flavours is delicate but not weak. Overall a lovely restaurant.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian dishes, and a lot of the meat can be replaced with mushrooms.

Tanner: Highly, highly & highly recommend this place to anybody visiting the city or if you live in Montreal & are looking for a new place.I quite literally only found out about it because I was taking photos of it outside, walked in view the menu but was told they wouldn’t be serving anymore which actually was fine with me as I just ate else where. I was told by front desk lady & sorry I’m horrible with names but she was Scottish, she said they weren’t serving anymore. I came back the next evening and loved the food.Really couldn’t ask for a better Japanese restaurant in the literal heart of Montreal.

Restaurant Nozy: what do users think?

Michael: Price was 150$ per person for the omakase and you can drink as much as you want to try different sake with the multitude of course. The restaurant is pretty small so be sure to book if you want to eat there. Good japanese food that impressed me. It also filled me up pretty well. Since the restaurant is pretty small, the food comes out at the same time for everybody.

Sandra Mc: I recently tried the Omakase experience, and while it introduced me to new flavors, overall, it was just okay—nothing particularly special. Despite tasting some unique dishes, the bill was surprisingly over $200, which felt excessive. While the food was good, it didn't quite justify the high price tag. The restaurant itself is quite small, accommodating only a few customers at a time, so it's not ideal for group outings but more suited for intimate dates. On the positive side, the chef was very friendly, and I appreciate supporting local restaurants.

Dominic Huysmans-Tardif: This is honestly one of, if not, my favourite restaurant in Montreal. I went a few times already and it never disappoints. Their Omakase experience was amazing and a really good value considering the sake degustation. I wouldn’t necessarily come just for the atmosphere or the service, but the food and quality of the seafood is the star here

Suki Dakara Suki: . There sakés options were very good. And there yuzu saké was to die for. The staff a super friendly. The ambiance was good and cozy. It was a small restaurant. I forgot to mention that they also offered omasake menu. This is one of the thing that I would come back for it.I highly recommended this authentic Japan restaurant.

Restaurant Sho-dan: what do users think?

Ed Chunski: The sushi and sashimi are very good. Tempura and black cod are okay but not remarkable. Overall, the food is good, and price is not bad. The sushi and sashimi platters are excellent. Service is prompt. The restaurant seems very clean, and it's nice that they have a pianist playing soft music in the background. Very busy place, so I would recommend making a reservation.

Shiraori Rimuru: First, the food, delicious beyond control, they have perfected their menu, and their food presentation is 👌, for the service we had the nicest man I've ever seen he helped me learn how to use chopsticks and now I'm a professional, he was super professional and every time I took a sip of water another kind guy waiter would rush over and give me an instant refill, the atmosphere was perfect the layout of the building, the washrooms, the front desk, the tables and chairs, the candles they give you while you eat, the flowers on the tables, almost everything about it is perfected to the point where I don't understand how this is only a 4.5 star resturant. It was so good that I don't know where they could improve.Kid-friendliness: I saw plenty of families with their children having a blast at this restaurant, so as long as you're well mannered, I don't see why you can't.

Paige B: , but I have to say that the lawyer is my favourite, a very unique roll. This is not your traditional Japanese sushi dining experience

myra peralta: That piano music while dinning was very soothing. I love the atmosphere because you can still have conversations despite music. Fantastic service and great foods!Kid-friendliness: There was a baby in the other table and the whole time we were there the baby never cried, that’s how relaxing the restaurant was.

M. S.: Once inside Sho-Dan, I found myself underwhelmed by the overall atmosphere. The décor lacks character, with plain white tablecloths and a lack of any distinctive features. Instead of exuding a sushi restaurant ambiance, it feels more like an upscale Italian establishment catering to an older demographic. Unfortunately, my initial impression fell short of excitement. However, my disappointment took a turn when we decided to sample a variety of items from the menu. The sushi exceeded expectations, boasting a delightful freshness and appealing presentation. Accompanied by flavorful sauces, the culinary experience was elevated. The house drinks were also noteworthy, adding a positive note to our dining experience. While the staff exhibited kindness, there was a slight lack of enthusiasm, though the service remained decent. In conclusion, it's a venue worth considering if you're seeking exceptionally good sushi. The culinary delights outweigh the lackluster ambiance, making it a destination for sushi enthusiasts.

Viriane Pes: - for lunch

Juliette Larosa: , followed by 3 pieces of grilled scallops with crab, that had such a nice crisp to them. The soup was served with 4 makis and it was delicious. Then, the 10 nigiri were delicious : we had salmon, yellow tail tuna, shrimp, wagyu beef, eel... And finally, for the dessert, we chose a yuzu cheesecake that was very good, even if the slice was thin.Worth noting that the restaurant closes at 9, and the omakase takes quite some time : we got there at 7, and finished eating at 9:15, rushing a little through the end.To sum up, it is quite expensive, but I've never been so happy to spend this amount of money on a restaurant, it is very worth it.

Andy L: , Bluefin tuna

Boravan Ung: I discovered this sushi place by recommendation. It was worth the try. We ordered the Nigiri Omakaze, and the chef prepared us freshly prepared Nigiri and some personalized ones not from the menu. They were some of the best that I've tasted in Montreal. We really enjoyed this experience, and we'll definitely come back!

Sara F: I love the concept for a slow lunch or dinner. The premium meat options are worth the try as they have good quality that are well marbled.

Sonya Gill: Had a great experience here. We were able to get a same day reservation which was lovely. The experience itself was wonderful I’ve never seen anything like it. The staff were very helpful with explaining the menu and they didn’t charge us for the s’mores which was so kind of them. We will be coming back for sure! Samantha Leigh: I recently dined here and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and calming, setting the perfect tone for our meal. Each piece was meticulously crafted, showcasing the freshest ingredients and expert technique. The variety of rolls and nigiri offered something for every palate, from classic favorites to inventive creations that pushed the boundaries of traditional sushi.Everything was delicious and Definitely coming back!

Scottie “Scot” Weatherup: Good food, fast and courteous service. The taste is there and I must come back again to check the consistency. But nice surprise so far. Need to improve on the water filling though. Verdict : give it a try. Came back again in April 2022 and still good. Came again in August 2023, still good. Tried again in January 2024. I think is going towards a 5**** soon. Keep up the good job.

Laurianne Soubielle: but it didn’t change anything. Nothing was proposed to make up for this. Really disappointed of this customer service, we can’t wait an extra 1h30 for no reason. And since we have to drive 45 min to get these sushis I guess we won’t order there anymore, not knowing if our order is confirmed « on their end »…..This was supposed to be our treat for our last meal with family visiting from far away, disappointment is at an all time high.
