Kurobuta Izakaya & Ramen Ya Restaurant: what do users think?

Jules ZT: My favorite restaurant in Plateau Mont Royal!🍜The dishes are very delicious, complete and refined, their presentation is always careful. The drinks menu is generous and in its theme, you will even find Japanese non-alcoholic ones.🍥 the restaurant has a Japanese-themed decoration but modern, chic and on top of that the restaurant is well located.🍨 The service is always friendly and dynamic.Honestly this restaurant is incredible! Go there with your eyes closed ✨Vegetarian options: Varied cards

Seneca Smith: Everyone working there was very nice and welcoming, all the food was great and the avocado salad is a must have!Vegetarian options: vegetarian ramen option was flavorful and had a delicious veggie broth! Good idea to add vegetables to ramen as well if you’re interested in more of a variety.

S C: The food was excellent! In addition, the prices are very affordable. We were a group of 10, the employees were very nice but they didn't come to see us often. For the atmosphere, it was okay but there is better. No music in the room. The decor is good and the place is warm. We will definitely return. It's one of the best ramen I've eaten.

Tsukuyomi Ramen ( Mile End ): what do users think?

Konstantin Toroshchin: 1. Super delicious sides.2. Ramen 4 out of 5. 4/5, very good salt level. Not too much, however, small amount of broth.3. Very tight sitting. Literally side by side. 2/54. Menu sheets are 30 years old, maybe older and dirty.5. Toilet - hmmm, no paper towels, needs renovation. Well, come and see. 2/5ALL IN ALL, food was delicious, pricing reasonable.

Malek T: Very traditional Ramen location. Very tight seating, but i guess this is part of the experience. The dish was to die for. I have never tasted such exquisite flavors and mix. I believe the soup had some coconut milk in it. It was so delicately flavoured that exuded so much for the taste buds.Vegetarian options: Several vegan and vege options ... tofu, etc

Kumamoto Ramen: what do users think?

Frei Yana: Awesome concept! You can go alone and not feel lonely at all or you can go with friends. Service is friendly and fast. The place is clean and trustworthy. The food was ok, nothing extraordinary though. A tad pricey…We ordered Takoyaki and Poku gyoza for appetizer and both were acceptable. The ramen we chose was Kumamoto Tonkotsu and Tantan men with additions of kimchi. Both ramen bowls were just a little disappointing with mostly noodles but still good to finish them. Kimchi was really good but not enough to beat the slight disappointment of the ramen, somehow we expected more from this place.I still recommend it strongly! Must visit for the concept at least once!

Ichifuku: what do users think?

Eliane Champagne: favourite place to get chicken karaage

Dalia: Totally worth the wait!! The service was great and the food was delicious! I had their megaton ramen but I replaced the porc with chicken and it was perfect. They also have the best vegetarian gyoza that I've tasted in Montreal. They were perfectly crispy and flavourful.

Etienne Lapointe: Ramen to make at home is AMAZING

Eve L: I love this place!! The shoyu ramen and spicy karaage don are some of my favourite items on the menu. The ramen broth is rich and flavourful. Unfortunately the pork is a little chewy but if you let it sit in the broth it soften up. The karaage with rice is nice and juicy.Overall Ichifuku is a great ramen place.

Jenna Kaplan: Such tasty ramen! I tried this spot a few years back and loved it!

René Tung: The dishes are delicious and the prices reasonable for the neighborhood!

D Neko-chan: I'm just waiting for one thing, which is for Ichifuku to become a restaurant like before. The best ramen is here.

Fabrizio Rabioly: Excellent restaurant! It's only for takeout but it's one of my favorite restaurants!

Samuel Zhao: I love this store/resto so much !! I bought natto and some other snacks from this store, they are authentic and very tasty. I would recomand thier Volcan. Ramen. I think I will want to have the take out ramen again! Also, the staff are so sweet ! Too bad there is no 10 starts for them. They deserve a 10 start review!!

Yassine Abderrahim Salem: I don't know them but i like the name . So they deserve a 5 stars lol

Ramen Nakamichi: what do users think?

Christine Cayer: Very pretty place, with a satisfied and quiet atmosphere. Correct service nothing moreMy ramen was good I took the soy broth, maybe I should have taken the white broth...I liked it but not loved itI would have liked my egg saltier and the taste would have been more spicy. My noodles were tasty and excellent texture, the pork was also good.

Tejasvi Mishra: This ramen restaurant impressed me with its swift service. The Truffle Vegetable Broth was a revelation absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The rich, savory broth, infused with the earthy essence of truffle, was a true delight for the senses. The portion was perfectly proportioned for a satisfying meal, leaving me comfortably full but not overly stuffed. The restaurant's decor is a captivating blend of the old and the new. Historical artifacts depicting the rich history of ramen share space with vintage typewriters and a collection of Japanese literature, creating a truly immersive dining experience. It's no wonder this establishment is a popular choice for ramen enthusiasts the combination of delicious food, attentive service, anda fascinating atmosphere makes it a must-visit.

Kazu: what do users think?

Arman Izadi: WELL WORTH THE WAITTiny restaurant, huge lines, and for a good reason. The food quality is astounding. Never have I had food this good this fast for this cheap.Main courses under $18 abundant, appetizers under $10, service is crazy fast like a good busy restaurant should be.Get the curry get the bibimbap

Emilie Stewart: .Vegetarian options: Tofu. Get the tofu & salads. Fried Green beans are also delicious and pretty unique!

Maya Jacquier: Absolutely amazing. Automatically became a favorite due to the fast service, wonderful staff and mouth watering food. Delicious food, always fresh and at a wonderful price. I the lines can be long but they can be avoided if you come aliens 5:30, then you might wait only about 20 minutes. One of the best spots in the city, and a must try for anyone passing through Montréal

Sara F: Delicious ramen! Their fried chicken was also great

Billy Leung-Jok: A great izakaya with excellent price points. I've come to this place when it was first opened and I am glad to see this place has not only kept up with the quality expanded their operation as well. Between the 2 of us, we ordered 3 entrées, 1 yakitori and shared a dessert and the check came to $67 before tips. Excellent food and value. One girl was rather abrupt with her attitude but everyone else was nice and friendly.

Wei-Min Hum: . The dishes are to be shared. Very varied choice of fish and meat. A personal taste, I find that there is sometimes too much sauce in the dishes.Very small restaurant, but that's what gives the atmosphere to the restaurant. Not suitable for groups, 4 people max otherwise it is very difficult to find a place. You have to go early at 5:00 PM, otherwise there is a line-up and wait. The service is excellent and very fast. An absolutely must-try restaurant in Montreal!

Tsukuyomi Ramen Bishop: what do users think?

Marc G: Discovered during Japan Week in May 2024.An unusual and fun decor for this Japanese restaurant specializing in ramen. Thinking about discovering cold ramen in summer. But I would recommend that for cold ramen, these be served with the bowl of sauce on the side so that you can dip the noodles gradually in the traditional way. A choice of buckwheat noodles would also be welcome.

NiNi C: Help is really a treasure of Japanese food! The decoration is very good, the key is that it is cheap and delicious 😋The salmon is larger than what you can get in other restaurants, and a plate of 4 pieces is less than 10 dollars, so why do you need a bicycle! It is recommended to choose pork for ramen. The chicken comes from chicken breast. I personally don’t like chicken breast. The squid rings are huge! Help! What a great deal! 8! The fried chicken will definitely not be a hit! Full marks!

Celine: Very good ramen place! We loved the flavours in both ramens. The only thing I’d change is the topping quantity — you don’t get a lot of common toppings like bamboo shoots. You get half of an egg, one sheet of nori, and one slice of chasu. Feel like ramen places usually give you at least two slices of chasu or a full egg.It was also $1 to change the thin noodles to thick. $8 for 4 balls of takoyaki is also a bit expensive for my taste but all in all, everything was still very good and would go back again. Service was friendly. Food came out quick.

Evelyne Nguyen-Khac: Great ramen restaurant. Had the tonkotsu chasu original. I added an extra egg. The broth was tasty and delicious, not too fatty. The noodles were nice and firm and a bit chewy. I also tried the salmon zuke don. It was ok. Not great. I had the takoyaki as an appetizer. It was just perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft and tasty inside. Love the Japanese-themed decor. I would definitely come back for the ramen.

The Veronica Gilmore: One of the top Ramen places in Montreal. The ramen is unrealThe service is great and friendlyI do suggest reserving a table or calling ahead to see if they have space as it is very popular.Vegetarian options: They have a special vegan ramenParking: Basic street parking or one of the paid parking lotsWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible

Jonathon C: . Also a great selection of sake and funky atmosphere. One thing to note, their black garlic oil is actually roasted garlic oil. So the colour will be golden and not black

Michael Rodriguez: I found the place by chance & was drawn in immediately by the unusual angular walls that greet you in the entrance. While small, this place had the best atmosphere of any ramen shop I've been to; if you're lucky, you can get a seat at the second-floor bar overlooking the street. We were seated at a table on the second floor by the friendly staff, and we ordered a bowl of karaage fried chicken with rice, a bowl of original chashu tonkotsu ramen, and a bowl of chicken tonkotsu ramen. The food amazed each of us. The tonkotsu broth was so creamy and flavorful, and the green onions made it smell so much better. The meat for both the pork and the chicken was tender and delicious, and the noodles filled me up.We finished up the night with a celebratory round of cold sake shots. Much appreciation again to the warm and excellent staff making our evening fun and exceptionally pleasant.

Wilson Ly: I took a rice with karage, so the rice was seasoned but very bland…. The karage on the other was great very tasty very crispy I loved it. Also took the chashu ramen which is a bit small for the price, the broth was very rich, the noodle was very bouncyVegetarian options: 1/3 of the menu is vegan friendly

Ramen 9000: what do users think?

Jessica: The best place in Montreal for delicous vegan ramen.

Noémie Boisclair: Excellent customer service!I had a great experience for my first authentic ramen! Beautiful warm atmosphere.I recommend!😊

Jessica G: It really seems like such a random thing that an ice cream shop would have ramen for offer. I don’t really care anymore, this ramen was delicious! We got takeaway and it stayed nice and warm for our 20 minute drive home. They kept the broth separate from all the noodles and additions, which is always good. Cracking open the container with the ramen, veggies, and egg released such a delicious amazing aroma, it smelled so good. I inhaled my ramen and drank down the broth so quickly, it was absolutely delicious. You MUST get an egg with it, they are marinated and absolutely divine.I opted for the Dalla rose which differs from the basic with the addition of Kimchi and shiitake. The addition of these two were not much, I would probably opt to get the basic with an additional egg to get the most for that $2 in difference.Overall, super super good!

Sean Walters: This place we walked by. For an ice cream shop....it serves the best ramen in Montreal. It's actually to die for. Noodles on point, pork on point, and the egg absolutely amazing. 🍜. It's very small and seating is limited but for a ramen dish like this definitely worth the trek from the downtown area.

Linda Moquin: Small friendly restaurant where you can eat a good ramen dish, this one is Chili Ramen. Delicious, I recommend 😋

Maxime Robert-Halabi: Great place to enjoy ramen in st Henri

Matthieu Joannon: Best ramen I've been to in Montreal

Ian MacDonald: Great Ramen, nice shop, friendly and helpful service. All around a very good experience and a good spot to warm up on a cold evening.

Hakata Ramen: what do users think?

Sanatukai: The restaurant environment is cozy and relaxed.Theirs a variety of foods but their big focus are ramen and stone bowls.Theirs nothing complicated about the ramen order. For 17 or less you can get a full package deal of a ramen dish. Everything included without extra cost for vegies and egg.Their presentation could be better on the ramen but boy food taste goodAll in all, great place. I recommend the recommended ramen. The slow cooked pork is fantastic.

Nguyen My: The restaurant is nice and cozy. The service is great and the good is ok. But they are temporarily closed at the moment.

Edmond C: Love the ramen 🍜, all the appetizers are delicious, friendly staff, location tops

Howard Huang: I know the boss and often eat private kitchen dishes~

Marius Robert Velescu: Good place to have lunch if you crave japanese noodles

S Namarito: Not enough delicious noodles!

Justine Soucy: I enjoy this place a lot but the 2 people I've taken here have said the ramen is just meh. The broth and the noodles are different in taste slightly but I don't think that makes them bad, just finally something a little different from Kinton Ramen. They have a great lunch special which comes with choice of soup or salad and a chef chosen entree for around $13-$15. Super reasonable pricing and fast service. Both times I went, it was very empty which is nice because you can just chat with your guest and relax.I've gotten the ribs ramen and the pork bbq ramen and I really love the quality of the meat. It's tender and flavourful without being too salty or fatty. The broth is standard. Most bowls come with an egg which is great because it's not an extra like other ramen places, it's included already.

Alain Sévigny: Excellent Japanese food.

Matthew Muirhead: Great food, fast and fresh. Amazing service.

Umami Ramen & Izakaya: what do users think?

Joanna Stotlemeyer: Having lived in Japan, I would never describe this as an "Izakaya" lol. BUT it's a fantastic, trendy restaurant for sure.Vegetarian options: All vegan menu!

Kim Cayer-Roy: We brought back the ramen, because we were no longer hungry. Everything was super tasty and good! We also did a sake tasting.

Lynn H: Incroyable.
