4worldlovers: In 1970, an Italian immigrant by the name of Rocco Furfaro purchased a coffee machine, a special satellite dish and a pool table for his new business, Café Olimpico.
Originally a place where Rocco and his friends could watch their beloved Azzurri play European football, it soon became a gathering place for the whole neighbourhood—a place where you could enjoy a traditional Italian espresso and find respite from whatever was happening in the outside world.
Over 50 years later, Café Olimpico is still that welcoming space—it’s still family run by people that are passionately committed to the Italian traditions of authenticity, generosity and family. Coffee lovers from all over the world continue to linger around its tables for the quality of the coffee, of course, but also for the moments of pure magic and small kindnesses that can only happen inside Olimpico’s four walls.

Sugafull 27: I see why everyone’s recommending this coffee shop and saying it’s the best coffee in Montreal. I agree now! Their coffee has depth in taste and aroma. I hate sour tastes but olimpico’s was so amazing. I enjoyed so much.Also the staff there was super friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering two cups of coffee- caffe mocha and cafe remix. Bought tiramisu and pistachio chocolate as well because the staff recommended 😂Havent tried the tiramisu and chocolate yet but i can assure they are also all good since their coffee was excellent 💖I would def come back again.The other two location was PACKED with ppl with endless long line ups. And the stores were so tiny and small. Especially the one near Mcgill univ one was just unbelievably small i didnt want to go inside. The seats were empty but it looked impossible to sit there and enjoy/relax.Go to the mid town one! The place is big and no line ups👍🏼
Kyle McFerren: and absolutely loved the way it felt like we were on a different continent. This place really exemplified that vibe - it felt very European! They only serve espresso, no American-style drip coffee. Delicious espressos and Americanos and best atmosphere of any coffee shop we visited in Quebec!
Michel Sakakini: I visited this well known Italian cafe for a morning coffee.I have to mention how elegant and timeless the decor is, its the perfect spot to grab a hot drink and sit for a moment with a friend or a date.I had a latte to go.It was absolutely the best latte I ever had in Montreal. It was silky smooth, very rich and creamy. Id recommend it to any coffee fan.

Marysa Lopez: The hotel is simple, it has amenities, the rooms are very small in my opinion, but the location is excellent. The problem is that there is no parking, so you have to use the street, but it is super difficult to find, so you have to go around several times to find a spot. I didn't love the coffee selection, they should have a decaffeinated option.But in general the Service is excellent and the people are very friendly.

Mike H: Stayed for one night a few weeks ago. Very reasonable price. Hotel is very central. Check in was quick and easy and the person assisting us was helpful and courteous. We received a complimentary upgrade to 2 queen room from 2 double. Room was quiet, spacious and clean, beds and pillows very comfortable, wifi quick, and shower hot. Nice sized fitness room on main floor close to reception area, so daughter felt safe while using it in evening. They directed us to parking garage the next street over for $18 overnight, which we felt was reasonable considering the location. No breakfast included, but there is a Cora's right next door. Would definitely stay here again, in the future.

David: .It's a great spot for the value. I wouldn't recommend families staying here, but if you're travelling solo, with a partner, or with friends this is a good place to stay for the weekend.
JE JE: Visiting for a week, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff is welcoming, correct and polite. The manager was very understanding and cooperative. The reception hall is warm with its free hot drinks dispenser.Small downside: we would have liked a more varied breakfast.Rooms: Spacious, quiet. Park slope on the squirrels. Cleaned daily.Nearby activities: Close to all amenities.

We left the car parked for a long time.Noteworthy details: Each floor has an ice machine, which made it much easier for us to always have our drinks cold and to be able to take some ice on our trips.

We used to spend a lot of time with our young children... impossible to satisfy the children when you have to pay for everything à la carte... Our passes have been purchased since last fall, we don't know what To think about it, it's a shame because we've made some great memories at the park. Previously a well-deserved 5 stars. correction: the restaurant passport offer has returned: we are very satisfied!
