Milan Nayee: Amazing food, service and ambiance.We had the snails followed by the lamb chops and mushroom risotto. Everything was delicious. Creme brûlée for dessert was also amazing.Cocktails were great, mirage was delicious - only critique would be that they could offer more wines by the glass. But the ones offered were enough to pair with the meal.

Emily Zimmerman: My husband, good friend and I had such a good time at garde manger while we were visiting from California. Montreal is famous for it's food and garde mangers reputation precedes it, but it was even better than we expected. The vibe of this place felt like it was bringing fine dining to a millenial crowd with the music and ambiance. And unlike many other fine dining establishments where the clientele skews much older, this place was packed with people between 25 and 40. The dress code ranged from smart casual to jeans.Our favorite part of the meal was how bilingual it is. My husband and friend are native French but fluent in English, so we tried using English for me. However, the meal used uncommon ingredients that they didn't know in English so our server was giving us a full rundown in English and French without missing a beat. PATRICK GRENIER: If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the place. They prepare the salad and the crepes in front of you. The food is phenomenal and the wine cellar very impressive. Katherine Parker: Danny and Matthew were exceptional - they exceeded every expectation we had in regards to service. Rib N Reef doesn’t offer a fresh squeezed margarita, I asked Matthew for one and he made it happen. It was delicious and he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Danny had a great intuition for service making you feel like you were the only ones in the restaurant. I would highly recommend asking for them during your next visit. Service like this is VERY HARD to come by so when you do experience this type of service it is memorable
Lex DT: Very laidback steak house, good service, good consistent food. I’ve been going there for 15 years. The drinks are also really good drink and they have a good wine list.Why not fully 5 stars ? The valet parking… the restaurant is literally in a parking lot, just drop it or make them less agressive. I don’t like people parking my cars and it’s less convenient for me when I come with my kids. Every time it’s a story of telling them I don’t want valet … I’m already in the parking I can get between 2 lines.

So why only 4 stars?When we arrived at about 10.45, we asked if we could have coffee, and the waiter hesitated before saying yes and then giving us a lunch menu each. It was only when we looked at other tables we saw that they had a smaller menu. So we asked what they were, and we were told they were breakfast menus. We then asked if breakfast was still available and were told "yes".So, we ordered from the smaller menu and had a lovely breakfast
Eddy Lin: Shoutout to Pascal, probably the best server we had in this trip. Gave us lots of time, no pressure 😉 asked us for our food preference, patiently listing the tea selection. Always had the customer experience in mind. Food was good, just look at how the eggs were done. Kitchen was faster than the drinks bar for some reason, but overall, glad we visited this restaurant

yx Sun: I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful.The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes.The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.

Martin Larsen: I had reserved a table at Le Muscadin in the old town. It is a small family-run restaurant that father and daughter Leo and Josie Iacono run together with Josie's husband. I had the pleasure of greeting all three of them.To eat I had fresh spaghetti with pistachio, pesto and burrata. Simple but good. Especially when olive oil and cheese like here maintain a high quality 🍃🧀In addition, I drank half a bottle of Chianti Classico from the super year 2021.
Mathéo Sperry: In my experience, it is the best Italian restaurant on the island of Montreal.For once, it is completely authentic and the service is precise and friendly.We feel good there, the atmosphere is calm and the dishes were all, without exception, the best Italian dishes I have eaten in Montreal.I highly recommend it, the prices are absolutely reasonable.
Jackson Moller: My girlfriend and I took a trip to Montreal to get our minds off midterms. Chose to stay at Maison St Vincent Hotel, which is right across from Le Muscadin, and decided to have dinner there. Was blown out of the water with the service, care, and quality that we experienced. Due to it being International Women’s Day my girlfriend was treated to a free glass of sparkling wine that she adored. We both agreed that we had one of the best dining experiences while eating. Utterly phenomenal.
Roseanne Crockett: You never know what experience you will have as a solo diner. I tried to dine here a few months ago but there was no availability. This time I made sure to make a reservation and was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was treated as a friend. The food was fantastic, I enjoyed listening to conversations of the other diners, and most importantly, everybody made my evening away from home feel like home. I will certainly return when I'm back in the area. Oh, and try the pistachio pasta!
