I drove home with it, and when I tried to leave, the rear tire was half deflated. I called the store and they offered to come pick up the bike on Friday evening and bring it back to me at the end of the day on Saturday. The tire was changed and when I wanted to compensate the technician, the latter refused. I found that I received excellent service. So, I recommend this store.

I was going downhill a little too quickly and was constantly going through red lights... unfortunately I missed some of the explanations that were given to the drivers who had already arrived.
Joseph McKeown: The team at Ca Roule is always friendly, no surprise there. They also tend to be faster and less expensive than I'm expecting. But then, there's the whole experience, where else can you drop the bike off for a fix and then wander over to Old Montreal for coffee or ice cream or perhaps a 5-a-7 nearby? This is probably the best bike repair experience you can get anywhere on the island. Treat yourself, you're worth it!

Panagiotis Savas: The bike presented a problem with the gears on Tuesday evening. Called the shop on Wednesday 09:00 am with an urgent repair that was needed asap in view of trainings and competitions. Steve despite his heavy work load...understood and appreciated my stressful situation....and said.... No problem bring it in now. The bike was ready Thursday morning. Steve did the repair and made some modifications that really took the bike to the next level. The price I was charged was more than fair. Steve is a great technician but most importantly a really good person. Thank you Steve. You are the best.

Allan Aguilar: I was looking for a replacement for my older bike which is 2011 Specialized Allez as I wanted to move up to more modern on-road bicycle. My planned purchase have started some 3 years ago, however, availability and pricing during those years are just unreasonable and overrated, thus I deferred this intent on a later date. Recently, I start searching again and is now convinced that 2024 is the year for me get a new bike. I did some research and established a goal and maximum price point. Then, this is where I found the bike that I was looking for, most particularly the kind of bike that will suit my type of long rides with comfort, the size and most of all the price range. Since bike season for 2024 have not started yet, their website/store is the only one which have a great price offering stock availability. Since their store/website is not located within the city/province where I live and work, they are willing to provide such service and even went beyond anyone's means, thus, I am greatful about my purchase and unparalleled service and support to its customers. Onwards & Upwards: Generally a solid bike shop, sometimes the staff are welcoming and nice, but sometimes not. I have gone probably 5 times to fix up my bike over 6 years, and generally good results. However, the last time I went they fixed the outer tire and not the tube, so I paid loads for my bike repair only to find they didn't fix the tire at all. So, lately their service has been worse. Still will go back though as it's the only place nearby.

Simon-Pierre Lacasse: This store deserves the highest praise. I purchased a used electric bike from a private seller and was initially offered excellent maintenance and repair service. When a part had to be ordered, I was even loaned a courtesy bike. When I wanted to upgrade it to a newer model, I was offered an excellent buyback price, in addition to a very competitive price on a new bike. Having worked in retail for a long time, it seemed to me that this process was done with a lot of transparency and honesty. Finally, the quality of after-sales service deserves to be highlighted. Following an error for which I share some responsibility, the battery fell from the frame of my bike and was damaged. Quantum did not hesitate to replace it for me. In short, for those who want the special attention that an electric bike deserves as well as personalized and courteous service, I strongly recommend considering Quantum. Jérôme Jankowiak: With little hope and following my mishap and disastrous experience with a bike rental company located a few meters away. We went into Quantum Bike to see if they sold tricycles. After a negative response, we noticed a tandem with electric assistance, a gepida thoris traveling with two batteries! We try everything and ask if they rent the tandem. Corinne suggests that we try it out for a few hours. Neither one nor two Corinne provided us with helmets and hop for 2 hours we were able to go to Lachine and the end of the Lachine cycle path and return via Renée Levesque Park then LaSalle and Verdun. Very nice walk! Well the only drawback is that my brother and I no longer want to go back to the classic tandem! 😅 Thank you Corinne, finding a tricycle or tandem in Montreal is very difficult, but thanks to quantum bike I was able to cycle in Montreal with my brother in tandem in complete comfort!

I spoke to Larry when I dropped my bike off, Sacha when I picked it up and someone else when I called the store.All three employees were friendly, bilingual, and helpful.I came in for a tire puncture repair and small tune up on my old, rusty, winter mountain bike.The job was done fast, there was no unnecessary upsell, and Sacha even went out of their way to fix/align my mud guards.I also purchased a new saddle at a fair price because my old one was ripped to shreds and full of water.My partner has also been to the shop for a service on their road bike, and to have accessories fitted. They were treated much the same. We definitely found our new local bike mechanic. Thanks!

Philippe: I lived near Dumoulin for three years and have just left the area. I don't have a good experience with my new neighborhood bike shop, and as I prefer to encourage rather than harm, I come here to do a review. The dumoulin mechs are super competent and helpful! I have always had good service at Dumoulin and their prices are fair! I'm going to make the detour to continue coming to have my bikes repaired and buy my parts here.

JULIEN from the bike repair shop inspected it and came to the conclusion that the frame was bent. He was amazing and very knowledgeable. I would recommend JULIEN and Dumoulin any day!
